I'll have to change the color when I get home since I can't from my phone.

I figured it would be easier if Henry wasn't around when we all actually meet up and start the team. So I killed him... :/

Laist turns toward Aidan in response to his question.

"My name is Laist Vakoilem... oh, sorry, that's my cover name," Laist tell him, "My real name is Aritius Jesahi. You can call me that. I'm a spy, but there's no need for a cover name anymore. You all seem like a bunch of trustworthy fighters."

Aritius returns to his feet as the wall of a nearby house comes crumbling down. Screams can be heard from the scene. What was that?! We should investigate and make sure no one is hurt.

The dust and debris cleared from the scene where the wall fell revealing a woman. A man was standing over, about to attack. Aidan suddenly dashed across the way to the soldier slaying him without thought. Henry followed in Aidan's wake, darting out the door to help the woman. Henry had made it halfway across the street when three arrows struck him. Two dug into his left leg and one in his right forearm. Two more arrows found their mark, his right leg and left shoulder. Henry's deathly screams fill the air as he fell to his knees. One last single arrow passes through Henry's skull, the serrated tip poked out through his hair dripping with blood. Henry's lifeless corpse falls limp to the ground.

"Well, better him than us," Aritius says coldly.

He served his purpose to me.

"Okay Henry, I think we should wait until the next volley of arrows is over and then move into the battle," Laist told him.

"Alright, I'll have your back," Henry reassured Laist.

Laist looked away from Henry uneasy about Henry's ability to actually help him. Human, protect me. If he can take an arrow for me, he's done well.

Suddenly the window of the house shattered and in moments a man was jumping through holding swords to their throats.

"What is going on here?" the man asked starring Laist down.

"We are rebelling against the Count along side the other countrymen and countrywomen who fight outside," Laist told him quickly, noticing the mans keen interest in the map, "We mean you no harm, sir. This outfit is one I stole while I spied on the Count himself. Who are you?"

Laist and the three militiamen started to work their way back toward their allies.

"So, Laist, did you learn any thing about Reithwayr while you spied on him?" asked one of the men.

"I'd rather not talk about it, especially with you," Laist replied with disgust in his voice.

"Alright then, have it your way."

As they drew closer to the others the cheers grew louder and more vigorously Suddenly, a guard jumped from the bushes near them and thrust his pike deep into one of the men. Laist quickly turned to the commotion that had taken place next to him, drawing a small knife from his boot. He held it to the guards neck as he dropped his pike to the ground, still stuck in the man.

"Do you wish to die?" Laist asked coldly.

"Anything for Count Reithwayr!" shouted the guard.

"So be it," Laist told him, slowly dragging the blade of the knife along his neck.

The guard screamed in pain clenching his neck as blood spewed between his fingers. He fell to his knees as Laist's boot met his chest knocking him to his back while the last breaths of life faded from him. Laist looks down to his fallen ally and he grinds his teeth.

"Stupid human," Laist says under his breath turning away.

The sound of a horn bellowed out to the surrounding countrymen, warning them of their deaths. Archers took their places atop the fortress wall with the bows drawn, ready to fire. Arrows darkened the sky from any light that was left to be seen through the smoke and fire. Laist darted to the wall of the nearby house as the arrows pelted the ground and roof of the house.

"Lucky are we," Laist told Henry, the only other survivor of their group, "Guess I'll be watching your back too. Let's move."

Laist and Henry ran into the town to avoid any following volleys of arrows and took refuge in the house they used for cover.

It just occured to me that maybe they're (near-)immune to it in hell difficulty, but not in normal or nightmare...

I agree. In normal they shouldnt be immune because people would still be getting used to the game it it would have to be easier, since its the easiest difficulty level. Nightmare and Hell they can be and I would have no problem. Fallen were immune to fire in Hell and me being a fireball sorc it sucked. That would seem the same to me if skeletons were immune to bleeds or poisons.

There is a great distance between us and the walls of Nyord Sardi.

In my post I started it with a couple of people seeing him escaping, but it's close to where the events with your character are happening. I dont know if you would rather me to write something about getting through the outer wall or not, but it's explained roughly in his character post. I can edit it if need be.

"You there! Stop!" calles a voice far off, "Get him he's one of the Count's men!"

Laist stops at the sight of three townsfolk running at him with their 'weapons' drawn. They surround him with anger in their eyes, ready to kill.

"No, wait. My name is Laist, I'm not any of the Count's disgusting hencemen," Laist tells them pleading for his life.

"You came from the fortress, you have to be. You must have been running for your life after news from our attack," says one of the three men.

"No! I'm nothing of that. I'm a spy, I was sent here to inflitrate the fortress and to learn of the Count's deeds. Look, I stole this map,"
Laist tells them removing the map from his knapsack.

"A spy? Who sent you then?"

"I cannot tell you that, but I am. Trust me, please. The Count found me out and sent me to the dungeons to be killed. I will fight along side you in this battle, to prove my hatred for the Count myself."

"Okay. Henry," the man asking all the questions says lowering his weapon, "Make sure he's not going to betray us."

    "You got it," replies Henry.

"Now is the hour! Now is the day! Revenge and freedom for your homeland, your loved ones, and your dignity! Throw down the shackles of imprisonment and dissemble the pillars of tyranny!" echoes a man's battlecry throughout the mountains.

Laist looks over to the man standing on a roof as the cheers of the countrymen and countrywomen below him ring out into the nearing night. Laist looks back to the three men that are watching the people at a distance too.

"Let's go to battle, men" Laist tells them as they nod with agreement.

Well, he doesn't like the Count and his army, since he's a spy and is against them. But he blames all humans for what happened to his parents. Basically, his mind set is that if the humans wouldn't have come to Aboron then the Count and his army wouldn't be here and his parents would still be here. Don't worry, he just kind of hates humans, but he wont kill all of them. It'll play out to be that he wont get along with humans, but can still work with them if they have similar causes.

"I got to go," Douje tells Phryx, as he runs back to town.

"Alright..." Phryx says to herself. She crosses her arms over her chest as pure energy forms around her before she vanishes.

Douje reaches the center of the village where a large extravagent temple lies. He stops for a moment and thinks over his decision that is at hand. Accusing a Guardian of such a thing is blasphemous. I must do it. I must let them know Namahs is a traitor! Douje starts his way up the stairs toward the Temple of the Guardians.

Douje slowly pushes open the large wooden double doors and walks into the main hall of the temple. Rows of benches line the back of the hall up to a railing that serperates the benches from the large desk that is on a platform at the front of the hall. There is a group of young children that are getting shown around the temple by a teacher and at the desk sits the Assassin Guardian, Vrah, busy with papers. Douje walks up to the front of the benches and leans over the railing that seperates the benches from the desk.

"Vrah, can I speak with you?" Douje askes politely.

She waves him forward without looking up from her papers. Douje looks back to the group of children in the hall as he slowly opens the gate and walks toward the desk. He walks up the three steps that the desk is raised on and puts his hands on the desk to speak with Vrah.

"Is Namahs around?" Douje asks her.

"No, he's out right now," Vrah tells him without looking up, "Apparently, he's out training."

"He's training demons to raid Intue. Namahs is a traitor!"

"What do you mean?" Vrah asks him as she stops writing and her eyes meet his.

"Plan and simple. I have been having visions of terror striking the heart of our town and just now I saw Namahs behind it all."

"Do you realize what you are saying?" Vrah asks him lowering her voice, "You're saying that a Guardian, choosen warriors that protect Intue, is actually siding with demons to destroy our village?"

Douje does not reply, he only gives a slight nod. Vrah sits back in her chair and gives out a sigh at Douje's warning.

    "Jerfuth!" Vrah calls out.

"Yes ma'am?" a stout man replies from the side of the hall.

"Ring the bells, council is in session. And Miss Goodall, this will be a closed council, I will need you to leave. Thank you for visiting."

Miss Goodall shoos her class out of the doors as the sound of bells toll throughout the village. Two doors open on either side of the hall and Rytier, the Paladin Guardian and Lovkyna, the Amazon Guardian walk into the room and take a seat at the desk. Namahs and Vestec, the Druid Guardian walk through the main door at the back of the hall. Phryx teleports into the hall as she had done off the field moments earlier. She walks up and sits in the larger chair that is located at the center of the desk. One seat is left empty as the bells cease.

"As the Supreme Guardian of Intue, this council is now in session," Phryx announces.

"Phryx, this here is a closed council as their shall be no spectators of this meeting." Vrah tells her.

"Why is that Vrah?" Phryx asks looking down the desk to her.

Vrah does not answer her, but looks at Douje who is now standing at one of the tables by the railing. Phryx looks at Douje for answer as he stands waiting.

"Well, Douje, it is apparent that you are the reason for this council, so have at it. Why are we called here today?"

After a long pause Douje speaks, "Lately I have seen visions of horrible things. First, I saw a vision of Intue being attacked by huntresses and archers as our village fell to their arrow and spear. Then, I saw the man behind the attack. Namahs! He is a traitor and is plotting the down fall of Intue with these demons!" Douje states firmly.

"Are you mad, Douje? Namahs? He is a Guardian!" Phryx reminds him, "Your accusations cannot go unnoticed. Once you've said something of this nature you cannot take it back. There is no excuse for this. Are you prepared to go this route?"

"Yes, Phryx I am. Do not look at me as some young warrior looking to be a hero. Take me for what I am. I am the son of Geth. You, yourself fought beside him and you watched him fall to the demons. Do not let this happen to our village. Please, do not take my warning as being niave, for it is not."

"I would never commit or be any part of these actions Douje is accusing me of. Never in my life," Namahs tell the council.

"I am sorry, Douje. We all are well aware of your father's legendary status, but that does not allow you to accuse Guardians of such actions and not suffer the repercussions of doing so. We take these matters seriously and I cannot see clear evidence of Namahs doing this as he has explained. He has 17 years of Guardianship under his belt and I do not think that he would turn to the other side." Phryx says to Douje.

"This is what it comes down to then, right? His word against mine?" Douje asks looking down at the table. Douje slams his fist down on the table with rage, "You all are blind! You cannot see passed your own sheltered lives to see such a malevolent thing happening right here in front of you! You all will see! All of you!" Douje screams to them.

"Douje! I will not have this in this council room! May you be the son of Geth, but I will not have such descration in Intue! Remove yourself from this council at once and come dusk are banished from Intue and not to return! Leave now!" Phryx yells.

"Banished?! You all are so narrow minded!" Douje yells storming out of the council.

Douje walks down the stairs of the temple and starts to leave Intue. On the outskirts of Intue a drifter sits by a small campfire looking through his knapsack. The drifter gets up and walks toward Douje who ignores him.

"Nice try, heretic," the drifter tells him, but no action comes of Douje.

Douje stops, thinking Heretic? This drifter couldn't know of my banishment... unless... Douje turns around, but the drifter is gone. Only the small campfire is left burning. Heretic the word rings out in Douje's mind.

    Should Douje:
    A. Plot to try and kill Namahs.
    B. Attack the camp outside Intue to protect Intue.
    C. Go against his banishment and plead to the council again.
    D. Look for the source of his visions.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing with the vagueness, but I didn't really know how to go about the 2 names thing.

I know I didn't put it in the story, but he's basically spying on the Count and what his plans are. I hinted at it with him decievering a code and stealing the map, but I didn't want to go into details about who sent him, who gives him the codes or why. Maybe I'll explain in the actual RP, but maybe not.
