Sep 10, 2009GoldenCave posted a message on Why Blizzard Could Soon Return to Game Consoles.Don't count on that, Eldius. I think when it comes down to it, if those games work really well on console and are exceptional games up to Blizzard's standard, then they will be released for console, as they should be if they are great games. That's how the world works.Posted in: News

Aug 21, 2009GoldenCave posted a message on New Diablo 3 Character Class: The Monk!Well now, I'm surprised. I was like, "WHat??!" But I kind of like the look of the Monk. I like Blizzard, they were fooling everyone who thought the new class to be revealed was going to be the Ranger class.Posted in: News
And then I go onto this thread and I find more haterz :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykxqzKH5BIc
Guys, seriously. Blizzard is doing the best job of any game company taking into consideration what you have to say. But they will be deterred from listening if all you have to do is whine and complain. Grow up! You don't get everything in life.
Monk not creative enough? Lame? Your entire life is lame. You sit on a computer checking the forum every day for more information on the game that you will buy multiple copies of and play non stop. However, you completely troll, complain, and even THREATEN to not buy the game! Hah. You need to work on your bluffing skills...
All of us will buy the game. It's the best out there. One class won't make that big of a deal. I HIGHLY doubt you will hate all of the classes. And you know what? In the expansion you get TWO more classes.
Grow up, Quit your whining, and enjoy the information like everyone else, instead of your constant, pointless, criticism. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Basically what I am saying here is this: I don't mind grinding huge bosses, those are cool and interesting at least, but lets not get into a situation where we are just grinding mobs, regular boring monsters.
Yes! We know some games have adopted this, "Oh, lets have logical drops!" And for some games it works, yes, it works! But lets keep Diablo a Diablo, a dungeon crawler action game where you are constantly destroying monsters left, right and center, and through your massacres you eventually get what you want.
I'm going to say this again. No one wants to grind regular mobs. Most people don't like grinding in general. However, those people who do it because it pays off can still do so, through big bosses. So super awesome uber players, don't worry, you still can become super powerful through grinding. No more issue.

I think all of us need to remember that Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 are not going to be exactly the same. Yes, its a bummer to not have a spellcaster running around with a uber two handed axe, and yes, this could limit the possible "builds," but Diablo 3 is guranteeing that you will not have the same character as another player with these different skills and runes!
Whose to say you can't have a spell caster wielding two axes? Still is a sickk combo, and it still will feel cool hacking at ghouls while watching their remains fall off the ledge. The statement that spellcasters won't be holding two handed axes and barbarians not being able to use staves doesn't mean that there will not be really cool combos.
Personally I'm looking forward to running around with a barbarian with a beefy axe looking for runes to increase my skills. It will be soo much cooler to have a conversation about skills instead of equipment.
"Whoa dude, what rune is on that?"
"Oh, just multistrike, which allows me to attack simultaneously to all sides around my Barbarian. No big. What runes do you have?"
Let's all just relax and remember that Blizzard will do a great job in making this game, and that many of them are the best of fans of the Diablo series, perhaps even more so than us.
