The cost of living far exceeds what wages provide.
Im in the same boat as you, $600 rent, $267 vehicle payment, GAS which is at $3.35 a gallon for frikin 87 octane...
My truck gets 13 MPG. with a 28 Gallon tank... over $100 to fill it up. (a week)
$300 in utilities...
$75 in groceries (per week)

This sucks. ಠ_ಠ

Im about to go into business for myself soon, so hopefully things will get better..
No matter what tho, I'll play Diablo 3...Even if they implement a Monthly payment, I'll probably at least try it out.

If im not mistaken, they wanted to implement Guild support in D2 originally.
They just didnt do it...however in the past..like a year ago...I could swear I heard or read somewhere from Jay Wilson that they wanted to give something to us for clan/guild organization.

Like I said, I could be wrong, but they are bound to give us some kind of guild/clan control.
Who knows....We'll jsut have to wait for the Game..

And I also agree with GameOver, if we do get something, it should be VERY simple. nothin fancy.

A monthly subscription in this economy would drive many fans away.
I dont think Blizzard wants to do that...But alas this topic has been beatn to death WITH a dead horse.

They wont do it, they just wont.
Which makes me glad, because if they did, I would be one of the millions of people sending e-mails saying "WTF!!"

I think we arent looking outside the box.
Perhaps there are more factors that come into play than just power and vitality.

Everything has a weakness, and you can pick your battles..
So perhaps it would be more of a challenge to build a character that can face
all classes regardless of their skills.

I think the list is to large to narrow it down to just damage, and vitality.

Wizard, as always. Hands down will be the fastest killer. (I hope)
But MF is still kind of a mystery.

On the Elixir subject, that is too complicated imo.
Personally I dont want an Elixir or Elixirs to be an Item that I must grind to obtain.
Simply to consume it later...
Neither would I like to spend massive amounts of gold to obtain it....just to consume it.
I think Elixirs should be dropped, at random...then combined with other elixirs to make bigger, better ones.. Same as Gems.

The things worth Grinding for are items (Armors, weapons etc.)

As for Gambling itself as you put it, I agree....Gambling was IMO a waste, however a great deal of GG items were to be had by Gambling.

At 5:17 I noticed a Mob with a much larger member...most likely the mob leader.
Although he was the same color as all the others, he was significantly stronger than the others in his group.

He could also teleport very quickly!
