either that or instead of nerfing HS, make a 1h/shield passive, that is just as good. This way there is a choice for which you run with.

Both requiring a passive slot... (meaning builds are forced into only 3 passives).

Honestly, I think more pairs sound have trade offs indeed if straight buffs (like keystones in POE).

I think the easiest way to balance HS is to make you take more damage... reduce your shield block chance and amount by 20%'

posted a message on ROS on last gen consoles
I'm starting to doubt that it will happen. Neither the the ps3 nor the Xbox disc versions perform installs. The massive changes from ROS require patching the files in the disc...

Only feasible way to do it... would be to require ROS to require a full install similar to the digital version.

    Maybe that's the real problem?
As I've said before man... "Maka stop being such a negative Nancy." I never see any non whiny or non complaint posts from you anymore. I feel like you've been poisoned by the butt hurt Diablo 2 crowd.

How much do you think someone that plays 3000 hours costs blizzard in CPU usage artemix?

I'll put it simply, Travis Day posts are a massive let down. While currently the game wasn't rewarding in regards of both item drops and difficulty, I wasn't suspecting the expansion to devolve again in this senseless kind of grind. Kadala should be the "half" rewarding safety net for those unlucky, the monster drop rate HAVE to be rewarding in itself to players vanilla player included. If they want to keep it like this I'm fine, I won't play it, cause I know I'll need bunch of items to tinker with builds and this is only going to be frustrating.
Then the game isn't for you. Diablo 3 is like a TCG tournament with self drawn rules. Build your deck around your draw. Get over it.

It reminds me of the dungeons and dragons spell that CCs mobs by making them dance. Otto's uncontrollable dance or something.

posted a message on Can we expect new PTR/Beta Patch tomorrow?
The patch is obviously already built. It's most likely currently in the QA iteration. Once QA signs off on the build they will move it to UAT (user acceptance testing) aka PTR. My guess is that they are trying to clean up the QA defects atm. Note: I work in QA.

For the life of me bagstone... I don't understand why people like you bitch and moan about $60 for a video game. A Minimum wage worker in the United States can earn that in less than 9 hours (even faster if we calculate the negative income tax rates (welfare + EBT + credits)).

You are only the ten thousandth person to say this.... This doesn't stop RMT. If people were willing to go to third party sites.. why wouldn't they go to black market trade clans?

I'll admit that when I said drop rates were fine imo, I miss spoke. Compared to before.. it feels like an improvement to players like me.

I am okay with rates being upped, as long as people don't expect a legendary piñata. People need to remember that blizzard is trying to enforce a "less is more" philosophy.

Low is a subjective term. I played a lot before paragon was added... I have a wife, a house, 2 kids, and a salaried job. When your have responsibilities spending 400 hours on a game (10 fte work weeks) is a lot.

Maybe, your "not playing much" is in comparison to the fact you may not have responsibilities? Or compared to spending all available free time on other games?

He's entirely entitled to his opinion, though the vitriol dripping from it is a bit excessive. Humorous, but excessive :P . Some people may be perfectly satisfied playing at lower difficulties, or haven't had the time or money to break into the higher MPs. For those people, the PTR probably does feel like more of the same, or better. To each their own.
Its mostly that I'm sick of the negativity towards Diablo 3 (mostly on the official forums) and I'm probably venting. Take for example the ample butt hurt over boredom and calling the game shit when they had 1000 hours at its first anniversary. I just don't think drops should be tailored to the hardcore crowd. Time spent should not become an exponential curve in that you get both better (mf) and more (kill speed) drops. This tailors the game only to the hardcore and also causes the butt hurt about worthless drops. Anyways, the drops aren't exactly worse than prod. They are simply less frequent (for you high MF)... and inline with their "less is more" philosophy.
