The end result is a gear and skill build that allows 1 skill to be viable. For the HotA build, it requires much of the same as previously listed, but MUCH more ephasis on each (more gear dependent). I think the nerf ww build got was fine. maybe a tad more nerf but not much. The idea of perma zerk shouldnt be looked down on if its highly gear dependent and requires a bit of skill to pull off.Posted in: News
for archon, its only effective for farming things your out gearing and highly dense areas (i know we are getting a density buff so i shouldnt say much on it)

We already have tristrem so thats good, but i think if they dropped us into a 2nd place, thatd be nice. Arret summet has been thrown out in one of these threads, but cant really as it is now a crater. maybe just a flash back during a convo with cain? an actual flashback where ur at a birds eye view watching fallen raid a city. Or, while going through the game, you can see a similar place from the vilage ur in. we dont have to be directly in the past event/place, but seeing it or being apart of it will have some effect on u.
As for this thread, we will not be living d2 out again. They have made it quite evident that this is not d2 with new eye candy, it is a new game, more lore, new mechanics. I personally feel, other than tristrem, there will be little BIG impact from other cities or previous events. just hope some is brought back to help bridge the connection -

imo, with all these patches and games coming out, bliz is spinning thier wheels a little TOOO fast for thier own good.
sc2 (the many), wow expansions, D3, new mmo, d2 patch, wc3 patch, delay, delay.
they are stretched a little tooo thin to be able to provide thier usual unsurpased quality at this quantity. if they sit on thier quality over quantity method, more delays, more people pissed, the such.
in short, if it comes any time soon, IT WILL SUCK. if it comes in a year-ish. it will be true bliz. -

have my mele fighter, dota-ness, and diablo refresh-ish which i can playon my laptop :).
only reason im on so much right now is cuz im doin a law brief and its less fun than ud think haha. but i finished so ill be off soon :P. -

for torchlight, i disagree. i love the game, so their mgiht be some bias, but i prefer 3d. imo, 2d is almost gone. ur right, however, about the "wow-ish" graphics. it doesnt capture me. like, the game is pretty well paced, doin a lot of stuff at once, and stuff, but its wierd. something about it isnt 2d. 2d has me imediatly. cant drop it. torchlight, its like on the cusp. idk y. and they did steal a lot from d3. this could, however, be wat was in the original d3, not the current one.
food for thought. thats my opinion on torchlight, graphics, and the such.
im clueless on the d2 patch. i would chuckle if they just released a patch that actually did nothing. "hey joe, we need a patch out next week or we get fired" "ok, send a 1 kb file" "sweet, sounds good". before you know it, you have a blizz file with "hahaha" writen on it, thats it.
would be hilarious... then the pitchforks. -

its all psychological. we are, in a way, trained. Give a rat a pellet for pushing the button. then again, then again. after a while, u give a pellet every 2 times, then 3, then 4, then once in a while. make it random. before you know it, the damn rat is psychotic and has carpol tunnel before it gets half a pellet.
right now, the blizzard grasp is loosinging on us. I know this totally sounds like bs, and i know we arnt trained, but go with it. Connect how it works to how we stand.
we were addicted through there games. we got spammed by vids early on and news. now, once in a blue moon we get something. the news is the pellet, and blizzard is the biznatch lol.
people have been saying it, we are run thin, patience is gone. Bliz really needs to rethink this strategy of thiers. i mean, they can be gerks about it cuz we will all be buying the game, but its best to keep a postive, happy fan club.
imo, being a narcisitic asshole, move all the wow pple to diablo 3 for a MONTH. think of the stuff that can get done. pump this game out in the next 6 months, and have it ready for summer. what more could a company want than to destroy a million plus peoples summers?

i have a buddy who rocks one and i flat out told him i will not do a single run with him if he uses it. infact, i handed him my main hand axe to use and dropped my dps by 30k just so i wouldnt have to deal iwht his ef. ur "paperdoll" dps may be higher, but ur effective dps is so stupidly low because of ur lack of fury and the lack of mobs ur hitting every second because they run everywhere

viles with more str and maybe also some vit/life%
strong offhand. Shoot for a dagger/sword. offhand attackspeed should be faster, not slower than ur mainhand
everything is fine but not great. id say you have 2 options at this point. Go for BiS gear or damn near close to it on every piece and save up gold until u can get them OR keep cashing out for smaller upgrades.

one thing to also consider, not everyone is at 300/300 base mf. id say 50% of pple have 150 mf. 150+75 = 225 mf. 150+75+125 = 350. 1.5% more drops per kill not including the extra drop. food for thought

lol. blew me away. Cosiaruim is on my buddylist and play with him every day. great guy XD. Weve both been experimenting with diferent builds for farming fastest. He likes the HotA+WW combination. WW for whites, smash for yellow elites.
I run more of a nuke build with 5 piece IK and unforgiving passive for 4 fury/second, Also, ww hurricane + leap call of arreat + OP momentum + charge stamina + BR blood rage or w/e with the aoe effect. The he build has tons of aoe nuking capabilities, and the br rune allows for an extra range for all ur abilities. I can leap into a screen up spiders and they litterly all die insstantly instead of having to spend more time ww over every inch of the square. Basically, going from a hand held fan to a lawnmower blade

CD (like ww) is your damage but not neceisary for the build to work

For those who do not have wtfpwn gear like kongor, DO NOT GET AN EF!!!!! if you are not insta gibbing elites like he is, they will be taking you on a long long long long long long long path around the world of diablo XD
In respone to the guy above this post, DW is superior in terms of being able to have perma zerk up, or at least have it up longer. 2H may have superior dps for the average person (dw probably has higher potential) but the reliability and ease factor of permazerk is very important.

I dont sell any of my legendaris/half decent gear that wont sell for a minimum of 1mill. Instead, i toss it in my 2nd tab. Once it fill up, i join an act 1 Q1 pub game, make sure most of the pple are wearing crappy gear (ie first char/starting out) then call them to town. Yell out "finders keepers with 24%movepseed gear, and run and drop all ur gear. For you, its trash, for them, its a huge help.
We all know how hard this game is to get going in. Its not liking im giving em Ik chest or anything, just stuff to bulster their bank a bit/help their char out. Just threw out a 6cc/55 res all ring. Not the best, but will sure help them get going.
Who else does stuff like this, and if not, Why not?
