    Yea the slowdown happens to me to when i cast some big area effect spells. But i guess thats just because of Vista or XP issues, i know what you mean about BG1 and BG2 i had some issues with those too and i had to look around to find the solution, but if you have any issues just tell me i can probably help out.

    When the hell does this game come out, cuz today i went looking for it and its not out yet, i checked online and it said october, but then i checked the store websites and it said January. Man today was a bad day to find games.

    OMFG i went looking for the collectors edition today at like 6 stores and i didnt find it, i was so pissed that my head practically exploded. Im gonna have to settle for the regular one, i just want that stupid blood dragon armor and that shale guy.

    Pretty much but i would say that IWD1 has a more epic story, IWD2 not as much but still fun to play. Also IWD2 is more advanced and uses the 3.5 rules whereas IWD1 is less advanced and is basically BG1 with BG2 graphics, well once you install Heart of Winter. Oh i also reccomend getting the Trials of the Luremaster expansion for IWD1 its and add on that gives new areas/items/quests/monsters its pretty fun, also its free you just need to find a site that lets you download it. A good one would be sorcerersplace.net.
