Well, I'm not in Russia, and either are more than 99% (yay, random statistics!) players, so... we're still golden! *high fives all around*

That is kinda random, though. I wonder why that is. Maybe there's such a low player base in Russia that they need monthly fees to account for server costs (less people seeing adds, less copies sold in the region)? Or maybe it's legal things over there. Hrm... Any idea?

Im a originally a Russian myself(don't live there though), and last time I've heard most of the country is still on dial-up internet, either that or the traffic prices are sky rocketing.

Its cheaper to buy a retail version of a game instead of downloading a pirated version of it.

btw first time I hear that the russian version will contain p2p, wonder if it won't be cracked..

Whatever man, they're all minerals. But if it's a problem, they should change the look of the skill, not the name.

You do realize that it once already was a stone skin, and they changed it(the explanation can be found at the blizzcon videos), hence the name.

Stone skin is a great name for a great skill, but this new crystal skill is not it.

I cannot understand how can a person disregard the way a skill looks while giving it a name. It seems that blizzard is with me on this one, and they won't change the name of the skill just for the sake of change, not because they are the "mighty" blizzard, but because they can think well enough not to do it.

Regardless of what it looks like, the skill should be called Stone Skin. Stone Skin is a spell/skill that's been in role playing games since day one. Calling it any different would just be changing things just for the sake of change. And that's not right.

    Just my two cents.

What about the fact that it would be extremely illogical and confusing to anticipating a stone skin when you use a skill named "stone skin" and getting something else?

    posted a message on Achievments
I think achievements should be something meaningful and not acquired by everyone, something that would give one a reason to look at the other's achievements. An achievement for each difficulty would be stupid - 'Blala finished the game in normal', well gg Blabla, So does everyone else.

Neither an achievement should be something pursued with some trick or specific gear such as "Kill diablo using level 1 weapon", and then to get this everyone would look at the internet for an article on how to get it, in this case only the first few people who does it(making a way up by themselves) are truly worthy of such a title.

I like to look at achievements as trophies, something to show others you're status and skill. Therefor there should be achievements which are obtainable at least a few months into the game, or some which are definitely wouldn't be obtainable by everyone.

All this to avoid achievement(damn this long freaking hard to spell/none intuitive word) grinding. As I already stated, they(did I chose the right word?) should be status symbol - "has achieved max level with x"-to show what characters he potentially knows well or even would like to have equipment for(trading purposes), or they should be something that you would post in the forums with pride of achieving it.
