    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#URjOYX!VTg!ZZZZYa

On the surface this build may seem to have low damage, however when you look at the control and basically auto aim that it creates, I feel that this can become a great inferno build.

I see a lot of people liking the Chain Lightning rune on Electrocute, I chose Forked Lightning because this is a crit build.

This build has no need for AP generation, the only spell that uses AP is Hydra, which is only cast once in a while.

Arcane Dynamo boosts hydra damage by quite a bit.

Familiar, Electrocute and Hydra all have a chance of activating Paralysis (which has now been buffed to 8% chance for 3 seconds).

Critical mass is the only thing I'm still unsure about, testing will show whether Glass Cannon or Blur is more beneficial.

Revenge with Provocation is absolutely the best rune choice bar none.

There is no nerfing happening at all, you're being ridiculous. I'll play the barb either way.

    Quote from Hughes

So, I'm not in beta (/cry), but I decided on being a barb when D3 launches.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a nerd with issues, lots of issues. So I want to be the hell out of stuff, but I don't wanna get my ass handed to me an awful lot either.

Weapon choice-2h. Seems to fit the barbarian bamf style.

Question about the spec with leveling, difficult, etc.

What would be a good choice for a build? I know going full damage skills is suicidal, but like most games I have a hell of a time picking a talent. Would aoe styled attacks be a better focus? What am I missing here?

All damage is not nessesarily bad, it's just much more fast paced, but equally rewarding. I've reposted my 2H build a lot but here it is for your usage should you chose:

    http://us.battle.net...SiVQ!ZdY!ZbaccZ

Healing: Killing enemy with Frenzy, Critting on WW, Hitting enemies with Revenge and Bloodthirst passive which will stack well with other +% Lifesteal gear.

This is probably one of the highest crit builds that are viable with 2H's, some things can be swapped around, but until I can test it it shall remain.

Razer is notorious for making overpriced things that break down within the first year of using them (I'm talking out of experience). The Deathadder is probably the only good thing they've ever made.

I just said I've used 3 mice over 12 years of heavy gaming. I wouldn't say they're notorious for any such allegations other than supporting the gaming community with top notch mice.

Ive used Diamondback, Deathadder and Imperator. Happy with all purchases.

You need to read around the net then - Google searches show up the fact that there are lots of people with problems.

Best bet is to go to Amazon US or UK and read the customer reviews. You can quickly see what problems people are having. Once a mouse has been around for a while you can get some idea if it will wear out quickly or not.

Well I meant I was just speaking from personal experience. Aside from using my mice as a makeshift whip or throwing it at baseball practice they see a lot of action. Razer will always get my money.

I got called a troll and got flamed for like 7 pages.

I have no face to express my face.

Best mouse / keyboard combo I've used thus far is:

    Razer Imperater Mouse
    Steelseries 6G V|2 Mechanical keyboard

Never buy any other product from steelseries, everything else is quite cheap and break easily.

Razer has always been an extremely reliable mouse company, I've owned 3 Razer mice over 12 years. (heavy use)

Diablo 2 will always be a great game. I recommend playing it for the story alone. The item hunter and character progression is just as fun though.

http://us.battle.net...STjP!VTS!bcZbaa This is the build I was using for all 2minute cooldowns. Punish on Bash boosts all 2 minute cooldowns by 18% damage which is actually ridiculous. Your build is decent however I would change the rune on CoTA to The Council Rises. I truly believe it's the be all end all of COTA runes.
Snipped just for that part =D I see how The Council Rises rune for cota would be nice, but I really don't think it's the best rune choice. This is all speculation atm of course, but IMO I don't think they will die in 15 seconds, at least not all of them. IF that is true then all the rune is doing is giving them a 6% bonus to damage, which isn't very much at all. If anything I'd pick one of the runes that affects one of them, the least damage still giving one of them 180% frontal AOE damage off of your weapon. Just my opinion, man =D
In inferno and hell I have faith that they will die extremely fast if focused. Speculation as always, but it's a safe bet. If our character has a high chance of dieing (read: You will die, a lot.) then I'm assuming the same goes for the poor Ancients. I also like the added damage to each one as I mentioned before in case 1 dies, individual possible damage is lost. It's more about gambling than anything else, this rune is the safest of them all and thats the way I like to play. I humbly respect your opinion!

You guys keep missing the point :/..
Yet again - You're theory crafting and all but the point was you will STILL not be able to use it more then once per fight. EVVENNN if you cycle between battles, you will have one skill per fight, AND TWO SKILLS STILL RECHARGING. I don't feel like seeing two skills on my bar that I won't be able to use for a long time. I want to charge, pop EQ, CoTA ANNNND WoTB, because they are AWESOME. Not because I want to be ultra mega super duper strong and deal 34085203 damage in 1 second.

My point was I wish these were 45s cd spells, so I can use them much more frequently as NORMAL SKILLS, since we have more then enough "OH SHIAT" spells.
For example, instead of "Revenge" or "Rend" as AOE, I wish I had EQ. Because its COOL. I don't care about the damn damage I want to be a BADASS BARBARIAN and to feel amazing on every single pack when I pop everything. Regardless if its weak.

Now did I make myself clear?

    Feel + Fun >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Damage

Yes you made yourself quite... clear. Don't use them then.
