I also think that dying once (with gold and exp penalties) was punishment enough, why die again when you are not equipped to fight? Its not skill; its how fast can I run around/teleport through this mob to get my body, then get out so I can recover, put my potions on my belt and get ready to fight again.
If you want to make dying be a punishment for lack of skill it should take skill to get back to where you were. -
Oct 27, 2009Jack_in_the_box posted a message on Uelmen Talks History with ShackNewsI'm not trying to hate but this really isn't news (or new information). It just seems like there is such a lull in anything really newsworthy that forum history, bad blood between ownership and historical interviews from someone who is not currently involved in Diablo development have become frontpage news.Posted in: News
Again, I'm not saying this isn't an interesting read but does it really merit being frontpage material? -

I think that the alt button in Diablo 2 was a good system. I do think however it should be customizable. For example, in early game you could have it set to detect all items because you really don't care what items you get as long as it boosts your defense, stats etc. In later game, you really don't need or even want to pick up low quality items so you could set the alt button to screen those items so you only see magic, set, unique items. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Since it wasn't from any of these I guess it wasn't legit.

Does anyone else remember this or am I going nuts?
