In the cinematic, considering the accent and the duel ranged weapons (plus the assumed in-game dungeon looting) did anyone else go "hahaha Diablo version of Lara Croft?" or am I just weird?

It's completely plauseable that the old characters can re-appear in D3, I think Bashiok made a recent comment about it. Whether or not they would help, I doubt they have implemented anything like I was suggesting, but who knows how their story-telling has advanced in the new game? As Clew mentioned earlier, when those two guards and Cain join the Barbarian, that's enough to make me wonder.

That sounds right, I also read that somewhere - it's a pity, I thought it was a good idea, hopefully they replace it another summon made out of fire like (oh here's a creative idea) a fire dog. lol i just liked the idea of something running around like crazy on fire....

As for how many dogs you can summon - I guess 3 or 4 Like the Druids wolves but we may be surpirsed

Considering D3, does any one know what’s happening with mercenaries this time around? I’m mostly a single player and I tend to be very reliable on my little buddies – mostly for diversion purposes


I was playing D2 yesterday, and once again, I was sadly reminded by Natalya - that although she wanted, she could not join me on my quest. From that moment I thought it would be fantastic if we had to opportunity to hire local or legendary heroes, or even receive these mercenaries on a quest, as well as the standard guys. Bearing in mind single player mode, I was wondering what anyone thought of that.

She looks really awesome, and i'm glad that in the 3D render her hair is swept over one eye, the official artwork looks a little too butch. looking forward to playing in the year 2050...

I love lots of blood in game a game - as said earlier it gives you that guilty pleasure and satisfaction that you did something. But too much is too much sometimes, if we had ridiculous pools of blood all constantly it would loose all of its affect. A varying level keeps the gore in context, just like how Siegebreaker beast ripping off the Bar's head was like OMFG! If it was constant we'd say Meh.

As for if blizzard will make render the blood further? When you compare it to the beautiful desert scenery, it seems incomplete, but it may just be this particular screenshot.
