I absolutely loved this movie. I could list reasons why, but everyone gets the idea. The movie is just downright beautiful. I watched the movie at an IMAX in 3d. I?m not sure if watching it without 3d would have changed my impression at all. It took me awhile to get use to some of the visual blurriness in the background using the glasses. I recommend anyone who hasn?t seen it, to see it. I feel a little femmy saying this, but Titanic is another one of my favorite movies.

Character development is my only criticism of the movie. There?s not a lot of transition from, ?Jake Sully, just doing his job?, to, ?Jake Sully, empathetic towards the Na?vi?. His personal conflict didn?t really portray on screen very well.

The criticism I don?t understand is the predictability of the plot. Any plot is fine if it?s executed well. How many times must Mario save the queen from Bowser before we get tired of the games? Never!

Have you all seen the post "Y'all best be trollin'"?? That guy completely destroys the patch, and Bashiok does agree with him. Its in the latest blue-tracker, i suggest y'all have a gander

Bashiok responds with "I hear ya". That's just his way of saying he acknowledges the opinion, not that he's in agreeance. I believe you misinterpreted it.

The patch definitely doesn't meet my expectations. I didn't even have that high of expectations. I was hoping for more balancing of the characters. Though, Respec'ing adds quite a bit of game play variety. Now you can splurge your points into low level skills instead of strategizing your skill tree for the later levels. The first 30 levels should be more interesting.

Still not enough changes to get me playing again.

Lots of neat additions such as: blogging, twitter tracker, the blizz trackers, personal profile walls, etc. Many improvements that make the site worth coming to again. Especially, the absence of Umaro and Zoltrix.

It seems the "off-topic" part of the forum is not as lively as it use to be. I miss when there was a separate spam forum.

P.S. Thanks Sixen for investing the time to combine my past accounts into this one. I now have hate mail from 2 years ago lol.

I had changed the password and e-mail so I could keep myself from logging in. Now I guess I'm just in the mood to post again. I'm sure this is some form of infraction of the rules. If I can get my authentication on the other account corrected I'd be just as glad posting under that. Or... This will be fine.

Looking at the vidstub.sys, it looks like it's a program you downloaded to configure your boot screen?

Have you tried to boot into safe mode? Normally if you press F8 while the machine is POSTing, you'll have the option. If you can load windows in safe mode, is this a program you can uninstall. Does bootskin sound familiar?

Jazz-- I think you're referring to a System Recovery.

I just spent like 1000$ on upgrading my Video card and RAM

    CPU - Celeron 3.60GHz
RAM - 2 gig (^.^ so damn sweet!)
    Sound - intergrated Realtek AC97 Audio :\
Video - RADEON X1900 XTX Series 512mb (instant orgasm)
    Hard drive - 400 gb

my hopes is that with all that, D3 is gonna look and run fucking sweet
You have a celeron processor and bought a $650 graphics card? Hm..... That seems a bit silly. Now you just have to upgrade the rest.

In the next few weeks I'm going to buy a barebones kit from TigerDirect, most likely this one:

    EVGA nForce 680i SLI Socket 775 Barebone Kit - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66GHz OEM,(2) GeForce 8800GT 512MB Video Card, 500GB SATA HD, 4GB DDR2 PC6400, ATX Full-Tower Case, 650 Watt Power Supply

Actually you are incorrect. He simply stated the ranking of the games via retail sales. This is a fact, not a diss, he misinterpreted it as a diss, that was his only mistake. Then he began to voice his opinion that starcraft is a great game. Nowhere did he insult the franchise. He pointed out that Starcraft's rank, places it as a not-as-popular franchise. I'm sorry, but L2P you're struggling to come up with a decent arguement, you just aren't comprehending his posts very well.

If you looked at the rest of the post that you have quoted from me, I have quoted two of his posts on this exact thread whcih contradict each other. One quote he admits he dissed the Starcraft franchise and the other he denies it. That is a contradiction according to the definition of the dictionary i have looekd up and posted.

How is Starcraft a 'not-as-popular' franchise? Any ever heard of Starcraft 2 and Korea? I fail to see how I'm failing at 'decent arguments' I perfectly respond against the target that is posting in a fashion that is just.

I'll put it like this, in more simpleton terms. L2P, in order, which franchise has the least amount of sales. Then you say: "Why SpanishBard that would be Starcraft". Well then it would be reasonable for someone to say, "Because Starcraft hasn't hit the global market as well as the other franchises, it is the least popular". Make sense? This is an opinion based off of a statistical analysis. That's all it is. It isn't a diss. When he said he was dissing starcraft, he misinterpreted himself. He wasn't dissing starcraft, he was presenting the facts about starcraft in a negative light. He himself, was not dissing starcraft. This is where you're getting confused. So the conclusion is: he was not dissing starcraft, simply discussing retail sales and popularity.

Starcraft is quite popular in Korea; however, globally it only has about 9.5 million sales. The Diablo franchise has about 20 million. Now, Diablo has 2 games and an expansion, so that sequel helped push those numbers. So one could also argue that because Blizzard hasn't invested as much time into Starcraft and sequels, those retail sales may not represent popularity.

He isn't contradicting himself. Only misrepresenting himself. If I say, "Starcraft hasn't sold as well as the other games, but I still love starcraft". How is that quote at all a contradiction?

BS and we all know it. People categorize those that are active by means of doing runs with the guild. If people are on every day and doing runs with people, they are considered active and therefore 'useful'. If they aren't doing something closely related to being on Diablo 2 LOD and doing some type of Chaos, Baal, or other run, they are considered inactive and 'useless'.

Well that's slightly taking what I said out of context. Don't get me wrong. I personally think Diablo 2 has hit its wall. I don't think it's the game where you can really contribute much to. I was simply elaborating on his post a bit more, since he was not referencing runs, but many factors that a Diablo guild has. You're just logically concluding that 'runs' make up the chemistry of the game, so therefore it's difficult to contribute. There are several ways to contribute. For one -- playing together period. Questing together. Mfing together. Doing hardcore together. Just doing things as a guild, in unison. Guilds can offer more than just runs.

By the way, Murderface's recommendation is one of the better ones. I could see the Eastern Sun mod really revitalizing the game.

Lol, Link I like how you say take it with a grain of salt after every post.

Medieval, you don't need to hold down CTRL while pressing f5 to refresh. Just f5. Unless thats some apple/mac thing.
Actually, Ctrl-F5 is a hard refresh. This bypasses the cache stored on your computer so you don't get any errors on the page. And you can see an updated view of the webpage.

Edit: Beat me to it Ivaron.
