Quote fromHave you all seen the post "Y'all best be trollin'"?? That guy completely destroys the patch, and Bashiok does agree with him. Its in the latest blue-tracker, i suggest y'all have a gander
Bashiok responds with "I hear ya". That's just his way of saying he acknowledges the opinion, not that he's in agreeance. I believe you misinterpreted it.
The patch definitely doesn't meet my expectations. I didn't even have that high of expectations. I was hoping for more balancing of the characters. Though, Respec'ing adds quite a bit of game play variety. Now you can splurge your points into low level skills instead of strategizing your skill tree for the later levels. The first 30 levels should be more interesting.
Still not enough changes to get me playing again.

Fair enough. Conversation is over.

No lesson learned for me. Sorry. Your lack of comprehension of the subject is annoying. Emphasizing on the word "you" is taking a stereotype out of context. So stop taking it out of context. Any reasonable person could understand it wasn't an individual attack. Might I add: Warlord agreed with my comment. So go flame him? I made it my perogative to assist someone with a computer question. However, since thenoose decided to share his credentials. I held him to a higher standard of response than the typical, "I KNOWZ ALOT ABOUTZ CPUS REFORMAT THE HaRD DRIVE". Unfortunately, he had a very useless post. He became offended that I was disappointed in his response.
Before a moderator jumps in, which I know Elfen already slightly edited a post or two.
"Geek Squad agent AKA you don't know anything and you over charge people." Confirm that this is a jokingly ignorant stereotype about Geek Squad agents, with an antagonizing tone to it. It is not an individual attack.

Well I'm just glad you put that much effort into your first response without being asked or criticized. Oh wait.....
Hey you made up for your mistake. Congratulations. This can be dropped now. So for future reference, just spend a little more time on what the requester needs. Not what you prefer. Ok? Lesson learned, case closed.

I made a stereotype about Geeksquad employees. This is a reflection on the geek squad. This wasn't an individual attack. So drop it. Second, an illiterate person asking for advice is not going to list every crucial piece of information. It's the job of a competent person to effectively get that information. TheNoose failed in his first post.
Right I know what he posted. It just wasn't very helpful. Hence: helpful. All I requested is that he be more elaborate, because he failed to be. This isn't alot to ask. You can tell alot by a persons post. Especially when you're discussing a very specific topic. It just so happens he doesn't impress me. End of story. It's a rather waste to go on and on. If the thread-maker decides he needs more assistance, I hope the appropriate people will give appropriate responses.

Actually you made a post with no information, no prices, he then asked you for the prices, then I said you were lazy for not posting the prices. Then... you posted the prices... Slow much? Had you listed random prices, you would have had 5 PC enthusiasts mocking you. It's only logical that you actually look them up.
You seem like the kind of guy where reformatting the HDD is the answer for every problem.

Do you see how unhelpful this kind of crap is? He wanted to brag about his credentials as an IT professional. Then in my opinion he provides a very unelaborate lazy post. All I asked from him is that if he wants to talk about his credentials, I expect a bit more out of him. This is being handled in a PM though.
Since it's very obvious there is a large miscomprehension. I was taking a shot at the Geek Squad mainly. Which, had any of you had experience with them, may share my opinions.

In most cases you'll be like wow, this game looks really fun, I can't wait to download it. once you do download it you'll find out the game is pretty crappy. I'll let you learn that lesson for yourself though.

This website is one of the biggest resource of Online RPG games on the internet. It lists at least 50 games. Gives a brief description on most of them. The most popular online RPG games are:
Ragnarok Online
Flyff
Maplestory
Most of these free online games have Cash Shops. They're mainly popular in the asian market. I'd say from experience there are no free games worth downloading.

Well looking at the UT3 requirements it says Dual Core 2.4 dual core recommended. Your q6600 is a quad core 2.4, so I'd assume it will manage just fine. I'm a bit ashamed, but I've never actually over clocked anything, nor have I immersed myself into the world of overclocking. I agree with Warlord about the 8800gt 512mb being a good deal. Running these in SLI should be reasonable for most of the games to come out in the next couple of years.
Well when I was offered a job at Best Buy in that department, I was actually offered about $8 an hour. So I assume that's about how much he makes, maybe up to $10/hr. In my opinion, the geek squad is hugely over-rated.

I figured that was insanely high. Then I thought, well I don't know his age, so maybe that pricing was a decade ago when internet wasn't as accessible. It makes more sense now.
I don't really believe the eat every few days, oh well. I know the exact amount isn't really important. Though, you're still not calculating taxes. As that immediately steals %20 of your gross. Which actually places your combined profits of $2080. Whatever though. I believe you had some spare change.

Geek Squad agent AKA you don't know anything and you over charge people.
For being an agent you don't really help much. Where are the prices/specs of these cards? Did you ask him if his motherboard was even SLI compatible? Type of memory of the cards? How much memory of the cards?
Nvidia 8800 gt oc comes at around $200.
9800 gx2 comes around $400-500.
The 9300 is a lower end card. Nvidia sort of works like this. 000-400 low end :: 500-700 mid range :: 800 + high end. I'm not certain, but I believe the low ends are almost always built into the motherboard? They usually share your system memory, which at times can be a complete hog of resources. I would update your card. I'm not really enough of a PC enthusiast to provide a detailed listing of what cards to go with. I know goodguy is extremely computer savy with this kind of stuff. PM him to get his opinion!
Crazy what is your budget for everything? For a graphics card?

Well as I stated before, maybe things have changed dramatically in the last year. I've never had such issues. I could see hardcore being a problem, for there are problems where the lag could potentially kill you. I guess I didn't think of it from a HC aspect. The laggiest part in the game is with Baal's minions from what I remember.
OT (what's OT?) Sorry, I will get right on the PMs. It just takes so much concetration for me to type e-mails or PMs to people. I sort of stress myself out typing them. You know me, always trying to figure out what to say. Expect 8 pages tomorrow

You still don't add up very well.
$400 on food for 4 people? I highly highly doubt everyone lived off of $3.33 for food everyday.
20hrs
X $8/hr
X 4 weeks in a month
%20 in taxes
$520 that you earn in 30 days.
300 for ISP(1,200/4)
+150 AT least for food
450
$520 your earnings
-450 your costs
$70
70$ left over not including any of your rent/utilities/extra activities?
Still doesn't add up very well. You spend more than you earn. I'm not sure where your math is.
I havn't played Diablo II for several months. I don't remember there being much lag, if any. That was just from my experience. Maybe they've lessened their support for the game. The way you talk about the lag though, it sounds like it's much more of a burden for you than most people. Maybe you should be a little more acceptive of the possibility that it's a network thing on your side. I think that's a reasonable thing to suggest.
You do realize Diablo II and Starcraft are still one of the top selling retail games? That is REAL revenue. As of Jan 2006 Starcraft is the #3rd best selling PC game EVER selling 8 million units. As of May 2007, Starcraft has sold 9.5 million copies globally. That's 1.5 million units sold in a year and a half or so. So.. yeah.. wrong. Sources:

For me, multiplayer is one of the most addictive aspects of Diablo II. If I actually look at the game as a whole, it's really not that great of a game. It's a very simplistic limited experience. Multiplayer opens up an entire realm of possibilities. Co-Op is one of the only things that has kept me playing Diablo II for as long as I did. Single player would bore the hell out of me. The length of the game is very very short.

The point has yet to be explained, you seem a bit confused. I'll forgive you this time.
Well I'll be expecting a major twist to the mysteries of this thread.
