    I feel bad for the fans that bought plane tickets and Blizzcon tickets thinking this year would be Diablo's time to shine, like they said it would be. Because even if it has 3hours of intense news.. it still doesn't compare to WoW and SC2's time, which means Diablo isn't really their main priority once again. It better be fucking sweet news, or not even death will save them from me. :olddiablo:

    I'm pretty sure we're going to see the jungle in act 2. I remember seeing this artwork (which I can't find, been looking for an hour) where the desert changed into a jungle, like it was an oasis for something, and it had something to do with the spider cave. Anyways, I think we might see the jungle part of the game at this year's Blizzcon and it won't be part of act 3.

    Hmm well, it's a cool poem imo. I can't really find the meaning of it though. Seems like one of those poems where only the author can understand the hidden message behind it. I guess it probably has something to do with the end of days (..apocalypse or whatever you want to call it).

    Edit: Aw, I guess you already gave out the meaning lol. It does make sense now that you say it.

    u should read all the post in the thread..just saying..some1 already clarified that D3 is about evil returning to the world not like D2 where evil took over the world..

    so obviously when u start the game is more bright and rainbowish because its been 20 years without evil... but like every1 is saying as u go more far in your acts it becomes more and more darker and evil..

    also its a good thing they did it this way because u can actually feel the progress you are making as you go further.. whats the point in starting in a dark hole and ending in a dark hole.

    You're right I didn't read all the posts.. and I still haven't lol. Did you see the size of most posts? god damn.. I don't have all day.

    Now, whoever said that has a point. If it does in fact get darker and darker with each act then ok, I'll be happy with that and would understand what Blizz is doing. I admit it would be awesome to see the world slowly change, looking more and more scary along the way. I really really hope this is true.

    Guy has a point. D3 is going to be cool and all but it had way more potential. Not that I've played.. but just from what I've seen, this isn't what I envisioned D3 was going to look like.

    I wish it was darker and had a more gothic vibe like the prequels (yes, still whining because of it.). Wish they hadn't decided to go with a kid-friendly approach which they obviously did. Diablo 1 scared the shit out of me when I was a kid watching my bro play, I remember it giving me nightmares, I don't see Diablo 3 giving any kids nightmares. Maybe dreams about pink unicorns and fluffy clouds but that's about it.

    I hope it makes a return in a way or another. Maybe shrines that give you an aura for x amount of time. Or better yet, what I really hope they'll bring back is auras on items, I really liked that in D2. Having your toon glow and shit was fucking awesome.

    Diablo I think is "Devil" or "Demon" in spanish. So the name diablo probably comes from spain or mexico.
    I know Baal is spoken of in the bible.. I don't think he's the Devil tho, he's more like a demon warlord or something like that (I think).
    Mephisto.. hmmm I really don't know where that name comes from. I know there's a Marvel character with the same name XD. I doubt Mephisto in any bible is the devil. He's probly more of an elite soldier from hell like Baal is.

    So basically, I don't think they lacked inspiration. They took names of different demons from the bible, I think they aren't exactly the same.
