    Awesome. Your right about the items in the character builder, useless if they're not all there. In fact, I'm planning to add an item creator, but I'll see how much time I have. Currently working on an import file feature, you can see it in this thread. We'll see how it goes!

    Keep in mind that all those tools are just to warm me up for D3, I'll invest much more time when it comes out.

    I'm currently working on a tool that lets you plan your whole character: items, stats and skills.

    There's one functionnality that I would like to implement, but I might need a hand, especially since I don't have much free time. I hope it's ok to talk about this here since it's about game save files. If not, then I'm sorry and delete this thread.

    I'm trying to read the .d2s file so you can upload your character on the website and test new builds (the website won't modify the save file, only read it). Though I'm wondering if it's worth working on that since you can only do it with single player characters...

    Here's where I'm stuck: the ascii values aren't fixed in one position in the file, so I need to find a fixed point to get the values such as the level, hp etc. I know that items all start with "JM", so this shouldn't be an issue.

    Sorry if I'm not clear enough and thanks for any feedback!

    Nice ideas, the diablo prequel would be awesome, though I'm not sure I would like a Diablo MMO... I think WoW made me hate MMOs with all that grinding and having to play full-time to be decent. I guess MMOs aren't all like that.

    I've been reading diablofans.com for a while now, and I decided to take part of it. Reading alot of news here since I'm also a fan of the series.

    I'm the admin of www.diabloexile.com (sorry for the advertising) and I would maybe take the oportunity to get some feedback about it in the forums if it's ok with the diablo fans moderators.

    Just a quick picture of DiabloExile, it's a website that offers tools for diablo 2 (currently only a skill tree calculator) and is made with diablo 3 in mind. It does not offer news or forum or anything that competes with diablofans! I will offer tools for Diablo 3 mainly.

    Happy to be part of the diablofans group!
    By the way, my native language isn't english.
