Look on google on how to add a IPX protocol to your network connection. Then start a game and choose lan. That is, if your playing a lan game. if your going on Bnet, it should work from the beginning

Well, I read that thread about Diablo 1 on the Ipod Touch, and it got me thinking how it would work. After thinking about it for a long time, this is how I thought is should/would look:

Just did some work with Photoshop. Gave me something to do and was tons of fun! I wish Blizzard would port this to the Ipod Touch for real.:D

The Right Click button would be held down with your left thumb while your right thumb clicks on a monster, thus casting a spell instead of attacking. You would just click on the potions to use them, and hold down the right click button to move them/throw them out. There would be no Spells window, just choose your spell by clicking on it. The map would be accessible by the Menu button and the black box at the top would display item descriptions and whatnot.

I don't know if anyone else found this, but I searched the forums and I couldn't find anything about it. So if you have, I'm sorry for repeating information. Anywho, on with it.

When you enter level 16 (Diablo1) it plays that weird sound of Diablo saying somthing you don't understand. You can see the clip right here, you should recognize it:

I thought it sounded funny so I reversed it and it actually says somthing! It's really easy to make out, this is really the reversed one, if you don't believe me you can extract them from the dibdat.mpq, its in sfx\Misc\Lvl16int.wav

Note: If this has been discovered and everyone knows about it, I am sorry. I didn't know about it till now and I just discovered it and thought it was funny =):D

It wasn't to hard to do, took me about a day or so, but I worked for a long time. The video was hard to get them on beat, I know the rouge isn't on beat all the time. the others are pretty close.

I used Fruity Loops Studio and Sony Vegas to do this =) it was great fun, and I'm glad you like it =) Thanks for all your feedback

Well, after hearing that for so long, I decided to make a Dancing Diablo song and video, I just finished it. The song consists of only sounds from Diablo 1, and the video is a bunch of characer animations. Heres the youtube link:

Your could try using a port tester (on the person's computer creating the game, so if you create the game and he's the one joining, you should be the one with the ports forwarded) such as : http://www.canyouseeme.org/ (to use this type in any number between 6112-6119 in for the port number)

if that doesn't pass your port isn't forwarded properly. For help of forwarding go here:
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
and choose your router make and model, then choose the game (Diablo) and it should have router specific instructions. Has nothing to do with using virtual drives, Thats what I use on my computer.

My most memorable moment was on about level 7 I think (on level after catacombs start) me and 2 buddies were playing, and we just finished level 5, and when to town and bought tons of armor, notable my friend bought a 7k helm from wirt (rip-off =P) and when went back to level 5 and started going down, we hit level six and found level 7 right after so we skipped level 6 thinking we were strong enough... We weren't we got killed on the first wave, but we had a town portal open. wanting to get out stuff back we devised a plan and had one person go in and make a portal, and another go in to make another portal. so we had three portals all set up like a triangle. One person wud stay in town, and another wud go in (sacraficing his life) and lure the mosters away wile the other ran in and grabbed as much as he could and ran back. We did that for a good hour till we got everything back =P
