Okay, so I know this is probably not a big deal to most people, but tonight I managed something I have never before accomplished; I solo'd Diablo !

Usually there is a fair amount of dying involved, but not tonight! So I just wanted to say thanks for the character build advice that various folks on this board have given me over the last few weeks!

    You guys are awesome!

Get a poison necro and poison them down to one health point then kill them with another spell or weapon. Nektu, it's spelled 'Fury', not 'Furry'. Every time I see Furry, I think of a furry dog.

I think of adults in mascot costumes doing questionable things in Motel 6s across the nation.

So I am working my way up with a necromancer, but I am saving all of my skill points for the time being as I intend to focus on bone spells. The problem I am having at the moment is that my archer and I seem to get routed more often than not by the named mobs.

Is this something that I just have to deal with for the time being, or is there some combination of armor / tactics that I am overlooking that will make life a little easier until I get my first offensive spells? (I'm not putting more than 1 point into teeth because I sort of hate that particular spell.)

    Thanks!

I did indeed mean the game, and I meant trolling in that light-hearted sense of the word.

It was more a bitter uttering of a hated word, "WoW." I played a lot more of that game than I should have, and now that I quit I see how much other cool stuff I could have been doing for those years. Namely exercising and going to school.

So now I do that instead of WoW, but I still enjoy the occassional study break with video games. Hence the return to Diablo II.
