posted a message on Religion Vs. Science
Why does religion need to progress? Since it was apparently from the word of god, it must be final. Seems like science called Christianity out on that one, but rather than accepting defeat, they took another more modernized approach to it all - by slowly pushing away some of the false predictions about how the Earth was created in the bible into the dark. I'm sorry, but if god's word is final, and we now have very strong evidence to counter it, isn't this a stab to the heart of Christianity and everything it is based on?

Even if it was from the word of God, it was copied, translated and put together by man, making it no longer perfect. However the way I see it is Christianity needs to progress because (I am just going to assume Christianity is correct and Jesus was all-knowing) if he talked about science, genetics, evolution and other things that no one back then knew about, Christianity would not have spread. I think God was hoping that people could use common sense to not interpret the bible literally and understand the the earth is older than 6000 years by now. This is just my belief.

Religion and science cannot coexist. I honestly thought this was common sense but I would like to see you prove to me that they can.

When making statements like this you should use a different word other than science. I am assuming you are talking about the scientific method and that nothing should be left up to faith alone, but the way it is worded right now it sounds like I could just go "I am religious, so I can fly. Gravity is science so I don't believe in it." Which is obviously not true, and most(I hope all) religious people don't believe that.

I used to like your posts Party Foul, but now...now I just dont know.

And I will not be getting this game. Call of Duty has never kept me entertained as long as other games. They don't make me care enough to want to get good at them.

I thought after my midterms my schedule would free up, but that has not been the case.

I haven't bought this game yet, and I probably wont for awhile since I will have almost no time to play it. Maybe I will get it around/after Christmas break.

Teddy Roosevelt because he's the most badass president of all time.

He was pretty baddass. He spoke softly and carried a big stick.

That pumpkin is incredible. I have never tried anything besides a normal Jack-o-lantern, and that was when I was a kid, I'm sure I would fail miserably at anything more elaborate. You truly are skilled.

There were chickens in ACt1 rogue encampment. lol. When I got bored I would chase them out of town and watch the monsters scare them around to. lol :D
Haha, I guess I wasn't the only one then.

Also while we are on the topic of diablo background critters, I want the slugs that came out of Duriel to be in Diablo 3. Squishing those things was probably the highlight of Act 2.

I think I see what you mean. I thought you were wondering how individual people joined, but if I am understanding you correctly you are wondering how the group was created. Which is a really good question.

I mean did a bunch of kids just escape death, group together and somehow master how to use crossbows, grenades and demonic magic? There has to be something more than that.

I hope there was a person who just started taking in the orphans and teaching them these skills and that is how the group is formed. Lol, maybe it was the amazon from D2 or something (although I don't know where they would learn the demonic magic from).

Somebody ask how does she reload the dual xbows.
While I agree that it is kind of silly, I realized that I cared more about the fact that she cant reload than the fact that 1 arrow can split into several magically.

Then I came to the conclusion if magic can make it okay for an arrow(I guess bolt actually)to split up, then magic is an okay excuse for automatic reloading.

Well it said that every demon hunter had a story similar to the one that Abd al-Hazir met. Meaning that they all had their entire town destroyed by demons with everybody they knew killed. If that doesn't give somebody motivation to kill demons I don't know what will.

And the cinematic trailer is here if anybody missed it.

It sounds like she will be using two crossbows in the game.

    From Diablo3.com
Her hands worked twin crossbows, launching a glowing arc of flaming bolts over my head, blanketing the hulking monsters

Also it appears they will use demon magic.
There is something in all demon hunters that gives them the strength to resist the demonic corruption that would drive lesser men to madness. They hone this power, for their resistance to this taint enables them to use the demons' power as a weapon.

Yeah, yesterday was the first time I have played in a long while, and there were several patches I had to download.

So I didn't know if you were mistaken or they have changed it recently.
