The bag systems.... In Diablo 2 one of the biggest things i remember was trestris.....organizing your bags, back in the day the inventory systems was just that, but now that games like World of Warcraft make bagging your items much easier. Could we still have fun with the ancient inventory system in d2 or should diablo go streamline and use a World of Warcraft based bag system?
i hope they are really hard to kill. not able to be killed solo.
That is a bad idea, all bosses should be solo able,however the person soloing them needs to be pretty buff. This game isnt WORLD OF WARCRAFT and it never should be. If you make People have to group up and to kill bosses you make the game boring, frustrating, and down right lame. Being able to solo bosses is kinda what makes diablo, well Diablo
Maybe, as for the Mailbox bit i think they should add it anyway. The reason for this is simple, Communication. Sometimes people are offline but you wana tell them something. So write the dam letter and let them read it when they get on so they know whats going on.
Also what about if Clans, Guilds, or whatever is added to Diablo, a mailbox system would be useful there as well.
I been lurcking around this forum for about a week and finally registered. I just wanted to add my thoughts in about this. Read before you flame please.
There are many reasons I would like there to be a monthly fee, or at least wouldn't mind it.
1. Keep the kiddies out. I am tired of 14 year old punks ruining my gaming experience. With a monthly fee, that is payable by credit card not game card, it would get rid of a lot of immaturity and would result in a better game. The game is rated M for a reason. Go watch your bob the builder and leave the gaming to the adults, thanks.
2. If blizzard plans to regularly update this game like wow, then I don't mind one bit paying for the content. It would give extra money to blizz for new enhancements and whatnot. We were all complaining about how d2 hardly ever got updated. Well, why should they when they have no reason incentive to. Added levels, bosses, items, bug fixes, and world events is way worth the cost to me.
There are many other reason however those are the main two.
Also, something else i thought of. Let say they start out with a fee of 5-10 dollars a month. Thats cheap as hell. However, every time you are caught using a hack, cheat, or exploit they raise that price 5 dollars. It would be a incentive not to cheat because it would start effecting the wallet.
Lastly, to the people who say they they cant afford a monthly payment. Honestly, if you cant afford 15 bucks max a month then you really need to get a better job or something and not play games. Im sorry, but if you are struggling to pay that small ammount of money you have other issues.
Bring your lunch to work 3 days a MONTH and save that money.
Dont spend 19 bucks at the movies and have that money.
Dont buy a case of beer and you can have the money.
If you are responsible with it you can easily find extra money.

2nd...You act as if you know everything about people's lives, most people get on games to unwind with their life that may already be in bad shape, what im saying is try and be more understanding it may make you a better person. Personally i have no problem paying for things like my WoW subscription but for some people its just not that easy.
3rd...Diablo 3 would not be Diablo with you had to pay to play it really, not in the since that most of the fanbase is used to when dealing with Diablo.
Listen this is simple, Diablo has always had free online play, an i imagine it always will, paying to play diablo stops it from being Diablo, and turns it into World of Diablo..... or in the words of a friend of mine, Paying to play diablo would be a Epic Fail.
Some games are built for pvp reward systems like World of Warcraft, however in the case of pvp size matters and well building a stable pvp based system on a game world where you will only have 8 ppl would really really rough.
I guess Im not sure if reward based pvp is right for diablo now that i look back on it.

I agree with with this, i also think Bonesnap should move on aswell, many of you might not like it or hate or not even know what it is, but for low level barbs it was nice to have i would like to see it again.
as for respecing i like it, but it needs to be hella expensive...like only the top flight accounts can afford it. i like that someone can change builds for pvp if need be, but ive played other private server mmos with it and after a while someone finds a super-build and there will be mass reproduction of that build. but seeing as this is blizzard, known for balance, the sun seems to be rising
Since gold hasn't really played a roll in diablo before (tho it might in the next game) the only real thing i can see for respec cost would be maybe sacrificing powerful runes (the higher the level the more powerful ruins to be sacrificed) or possibly losing levels for respecing. Maybe some type of rare tomb that has a one time use or i suppose sacrificing gear for it.
Hmmm...A possible Arena systems could work here, and duels that you can bet items or gold on. World pvp however, say hostility shouldn't really give a reward unless games are sorted by level and gear. also players if there is to be this type of "world" so to speak should be able to chose to enter them. As for gear gotten through pvp it would need to be balanced like gear you would get through pve (Player vs Environment).
A token system unless blizzard really worked hard on it would be very cheat able, just get your budy and let him kill you a bunch and you kill him. They could add diminishing returns like in World of Warcraft (basically you dont get points for killing the same enemy over again).
Basically for serious pvp the the only thing i can really picture is arena based matches, anything else could get down right hurtful to the games playability and reward system.
ya i know what you mean i found out today that your speed can actually be cut down when sharing a connection so i decided to put a passcode on my wireless and low and be hold up to 47 mpbs and stable.
Basically im wondering is my WoW gonna be hammpered now that i have to use Wireless until i get my DSL fixed. I get about somewhere between 12-25 mbps on windy days and around 34-43mbps on calm days. So am i gonna be in the green, yellow, or red on my latincy bar or am i even gonna be able to play on days with crappy weather or even play at all with wireless at all?
