Anyone playing with the sharpshooter (passive)/ envious blade mechanic? Might be interesting in a melee build.

    Quick note
Was able to ditch iceblink gem with new (redesigned) passive Thrill of the Hunt- Enemies hit by your Hatred spenders are slowed by 80% for 2 seconds
(thanks to whoever posted the video on the passive over the weekend). Check that out if you haven't already.

posted a message on PTR 2.4 Item Mechanics - Aquila Cuirass (Video)

Played around with Aquila Cuirass on my DH over the weekend. Vengeance-dark heart (from visage of gunes), elusive ring, endless walk set (travelers/compass rose) plus AC= running at 240m toughness most of the time. Of course when the crap really hits the fan and the hatred is going down the toughness drops by half... so it works opposite of an endgame item for a resource intensive build. Reminds me of the 'hamster ball' wizard passives (galvanizing, etc) that put up a shield all the time *except* when you hit that bad elite pack and all your shields drop away. Still you can always just hit the generator and go back up.
I was just screwing around with it on the DH but could see using it on another build that doesn't really use resources. Would definitely be great on a barb build that works the other way (as long as you are fighting you will have high resource) like a ww build. Could run lightning ww build and still have plenty of toughness. Could also see it being used for some wd builds (like you mentioned).
Just spitballin'... thanks for the video. ^_^

Edit: Yeah I'm using Endless Walk set also to get more dmg/toughness. 50% dmg reduction doubles toughness (endless walk varies between dmg/toughness).

No offense taken. There are folks in my clan that bot 24/7 and haven't gotten caught yet. Most of them botted 24/7 last year as well.
Just go to some of the support forums on the bot web sites and look at the ban reports. I hesitated to reply because I don't want to post a link to a bot site, but here is an example:

So there was a bot ban wave the week before Season 4 started, a ban wave (hellfire bug, not bot related) several weeks ago... and another bot ban wave over the last few days which would seem to be direct action from Blizz in response to this open letter.
There have been multiple topics requesting bans before the season starts and at various times during the season... and they are obliging. It may not be the large sweeping changes that players want to see, but it's good steady progress nonetheless. Be happy. Go outside for some fresh air. Breathe. :)
