Otherwise use a noun. An object that best describes you. A food perhaps. I don't know.

Wow.. chapter 5. I can't do more. I'm going to cry if I read on... it's just too much.

I was thinking of reinstalling this game. Has it improved since Season 1(I left around when Xin was released, not Xin rage though).

It's just that it will take a very long time to download the client again and all the updates (I reckon about 20h of downloading). So I need to be sure whether it's a good idea. =\

(also I'm thinking of giving Ophion's linked client a try).

Would love to play some games with anyone on EU from here, doesn't seem like their are many of us. I'm not that great of a player but I'm learning.

Well I guess we could say that the map makers have had some time to explore SC II's universe and editor and soon will start on their amazing projects which will take time but will be awesome.

Then again the reason why map making on SC1 was so much better than other editors was because you were so limited and had to use your knowledge of the game and it's bugs/glitches to make a decent map to be played. Spellsword RPG was one of my favorites of SC maps.

With SC II editor, if you know how things work, you can just make whatever you want happen. I guess that could be why people are making sucky maps. They don't know what to do because there is SO MUCH they can do.

Only time I get true nerd rage is when I die on HC in a very familiar spot.

BUT ANYWAY.

Yeah I think they should just stick to the way things were, especially if they're going to *copy-paste* everything. I want something new and exciting... something like... DIABLO III!!!!

And why was Demigod that bad? It wasn't the worst. It was my first DotA-related experience and it was pretty awesome for me. Sure there aren't that many chars (10, last I checked) but they're all unique and are good for their own reasons. They also have quite the variety of maps and do not limit themselves to 4 skills you can level up but rather other passives unique to their character. Their item's weren't that great and if you've played on multiplayer for long enough you would have an advantage over someone new(this happened quite a bit).
But I guess I liked it more for Single Player since I needed to learn the genre as I was quite new to it. The graphics and music weren't that bad either(I quite liked it).

Since I can't afford SC2 and I'm kind of waiting on some money for it, I thought I would see how the 'custom user-made maps' were going. They were one of my favorite parts about SC1/BW so I wanted to know your opinions on how good a job the mapmakers are doing on this 'new' editor.

Wasn't DotA made into a Genre(Kinda) and less of a 'franchise'.

Oh, and, you will ALWAYS get elitists in a community. You will not, and cannot, change that. I see DotA as a good attraction for elitists, so they stay out of the other games.

The whole 'DotA Genre' overall isn't too bad. I don't know why you've developed so much hate for a... MAP?
