My account is Murderface#1556 I'll try to be on more, I've been going between D3 and medieval II recently.

My views have somewhat stayed the same. A little less extreme. I've come to understand the failings of society on a deeper level, and in doing so realized that volition of the people is the only deciding factor in any socio-economic system. I no longer align with conservatism or liberalism because I believe them to be a sort of false dichotomy, and an assault on free thought. Religious views have stayed the same. I believe anything is possible and nothing is certain. I leave it at that.

Yeah I knew it was basically dead, but I think some of us held out hope that D3 would breathe life back into it. It was, after all what we were all there for right? I don't have to point out what this site used to be called.

Yeah, nomore green text. Looks gawd awful on the red quote bg. *spits* *curses*

Yeah he could use golems or tulpas, maybe skeletons. Lots of possibilities. It seems odd that a game with this much middle eastern influence has no Persian warrior type class. Sure, d1 and d2 had sorcs, but they didn't really capitalize on middle eastern culture as much as they could have.

Which culture do you think the next character class should be based off of? Norse stuff is TeS territory. WD takes up the tribal slot so no central american stuff, and the eastern stuff has pretty much been covered. I'm thinking maybe a middle eastern djinn summoner or something. Sort of a PR thing to make up for the Crusader. Heh.

Not abad idea though, it's already a pretty well established class, themeatically speaking. Magic carpet ride as a spell? Summon a huge snake that coils around a group of monsters and explodes? Wind magic stuff like sandstorm, or sonic blades? Sand armor? A spell that increases your attack speed by 400% that gives you 8 scimitar wielding arms for a duration like akarats, archon, or wotb? Summon giant scarabs? SUMMON FLOATING SCIMITARS?!? Yes please.

Yeah, it's sad how dead general discussion and off topic are. Those were the most active before D3. I had like 8k posts, then they made off-topic not count toward post count and now I have 5k. Do the math lol. This place was always abuzz with hilarious conversations, now it's ghostsville. All my tears.

If you remember, SICK was intended to be a D3 clan when it was finally released. I'm not sure how active SICK was when Carloseus and Silver left, but the point was to stick around till D3 released so we could be "the D3 clan" lol. After the owner sold the site to Curse they got pissed off and left, and with them any hope of becoming "the D3 clan" left as well.

I'm thinkingabout emailing them, but if you know how to get hold of anyone it'd be a big help. It's good to see you around though. When I look around the general forums the only familiar names I see are the staff. It makes me sad. I really miss everyone, and all their forum shenanigans.

I wouldn't hold your breath, the breakup between SICK and diablofans was pretty bitter. I'll give it a go though, we'll see what happens.

Well, let's see. I went to college, couldn't figure out which career to enslave myself to, so I started a band. We've played a few shows now, and hope to be recording soon. For money I do contract work at a local elderly community. You?

Its kinda funny that we should be on at the same time on the same day, that post was literally the first post I've made since 2012. Ironically, about the same time this thread died. Magistrate is still around umpa, and daemaro are still around. Phrozen is apparently still around. I'm thinking about trying to e-mail a bunch of the old members and see if they're interested, but I have no idea how many would respond or even see it. Its been so long they might have new e-mails by now.

*brushes off the thick layer of dust collecting on the labels* "Looks like we're out" *hands Twighlight some of Carloseus's old rot gut* "this'll have to do"

Good tosee a familiar face. I dissapeared around launch and almost all of the old guard dissapeared before that, around the time of the Curse buyout. I quit playing D3 because of AH like I'm sure a lot did, but came back cause I heard they killed AH. The game is 10x what it was for me at launch. I actually find things now. Imagine that. Plus, the crusader is solid, and so is act 5.

So, do you keep in touch with anyone from the glory days?

I sense Jetrall is a has a fear of buses and a love of theatrics. :?:
    Fear of buses?
Jetrall fears old ladies on buses who spit on him for saying the word Dyke.
Ah that was it, I was struggling to remember the story. I knew it had to do with a bus and bodily fluids.
