1 That weapon isnt even as fantasy as the skeleton king himself. He looks fucking awesome. My favorite monster so far.Quote from "Sargeant_Warden" »I'm sure they will. A lot of this stuff is even more of what they would hate.
1) Skeleton Kings looks ripped from WoW (purple & red armor, huge fantasy weapon)
2) To depict tougher skeleton warriors, bigger shoulder pads, of course!
3) Pixelated blood, low resolution textures.
4) bright neon greens and blues.
Pretty much everything people who made petitions were worried about came true
But Wizard? I think they could have come up with something that hasn't been done over 9000 times.
2 Larger shoulder pads would protect their brittle bones. Stupid shoulder pad haters.
3 Yea, when you zoom in 10 fold.
4 They were used tastefully this time. -

Oct 10, 2008Murderface posted a message on Sexuality and Gender in Diablo III: Beauty or Brawn? That's one of the best articles I've ever read. I liked the scrubs reference, I like the fact that he wants samurai. I like the way he portrayed the key characteristics of each archetype with the inclusion of gender selection. The first part made me laugh.Posted in: News
I like to think of myself as a protector/perv. I mean really, who wants to stare at man-ass all day (even if they are just pixels)? -

Holy fuck! How'd that guy survive? Whatever happened to "Rest in piece, King Leoric.. I'll find your son"?! Does that mean the Butcher can come back? :O:D

They wont have a primarily ranged class IMO. It will most likely be a amazon replacement. Samurai would be perfect IMO.Quote from "AcidReign" »My guess is a ranged attacker, but not a spellcaster. Something that uses bows, primarily. -
Oct 10, 2008Murderface posted a message on Playable Diablo 3 Demo At Blizzcon 2008! Plus, A New Character To Be Revealed!I haven't felt this way since the night before WWI! I'm guessing that sinamints are just a promotional swag, but it would be awesome if they actually put them into production. I'm placing a bet on samurai archetype. If I'm wrong I'll have to commit ritual suicide.Posted in: News

That's not exactly recent, they may be on 3 or 4 by now. Most of the time gets eaten up by designing the mechanics and choosing the art direction.Quote from "Dimebog" »Being shy is not the same as lying. They said the art team only moved on to Act 2 recently and that programmers are still working on Act 1 mechanics, quests, sequences etc.
Once they get that stuff out of the way the content valve opens to 100%. -

Sep 20, 2008Murderface posted a message on Diablo 3 Item Grace Period & Alt KeyPosted in: News
*sharpens axe*Quote from "Septar" »I can bet you both of my hands and feet that holding the alt button down extends the time of which items names are displayed.
Extends as in, it doesn't fade out until 5 seconds after you let go of the button.
This is a good idea, I hated having to press alt all the time, sometimes during intense battles I would go to press alt and accidentally hit the windows key:O.... dead:mad:
