To anyone getting the streaming problem: I renamed my folder back to the original folder name from "Diablo 3 Installer" and it worked. Apparently, the game cannot install if the folder it points to is named something else. Weird.

did this fit what you guys wanted to see out of it?

The gameplay videos hint at something that could very well meet my expectations. The beta is incredibly boring though, although the increased difficulty helps a lot. We just won't know how good the game is until after a release, and, even then, it took a while for Diablo 2 to become what it is today.

After everything is said and done with patches and expansions, I have no doubt Diablo 3 will greatly surpass Diablo 2. Blizzard never disappoints but it always seems that they will just before release.

If it's anything like the SC2 CE, then, yes, not only will they restock up on it but it will also be far, far, far from rare long after release.

Although, things could always change for D3.

Whew! Glad you posted this! My Amazon account uses an unused email address and they've been sending me that same email for months. I ordered mine in early October but they still are having trouble getting it. If you hadn't said this, I would've still been thinking everything was peachy until it didn't arrive on launch day

As said before, GameStop (US) still appears to have them.

But, for those of you panicing, I guess you didn't buy the SC2 CE either. That version went on and off and rare a few times before release day but, on release day, no one had any problems getting them. in fact, you can still buy them on Amazon and eBay for the same ol' 100$. as when it was released over a year ago.

God, yes. I've done so many Baal and Mephisto runs that if bosses still dropped the best loot, it'd be a huuuuuge flaw in the game for me, ruining a lot of enjoyment.

I'll be getting a regular edition as well as a trophy collector's edition.

So, yeah, it's worth it to me. I love Diablo and Blizzard. I did the same thing with StarCraft 2.

I click and hold for movement and small monsters. For more important monsters, I like to click in timing with swings. Of course, when I'm moving for a period of time with nothing to kill, I start going in clickety mode like I'm microing Zerglings too keep myself occupied.

This is from a person with 15 years of RTS experience and is in Master League in StarCraft 2. Weird, I know

In addition to the usual as expected of a Diablo expansions, I'd some additional randomized content for the previous acts. Maybe throw in some more random quests, just to keep the early game a bit fresher.

This isn't philosophy class. Destroying evil in Diablo means destroying the powers of the Hells in Sanctuary.

What you're referring to the philosophical idea that, in order for something to be considered bad there had to be something considered good to compare it to. Different idea here.

Any time there's anything new out, Blizzard fans will complain. Then, they'll actually start to think about it and calm down. Then, they will forget about it. From there, most will agree with the change, while the rest will still buy the game regardless and love it.

Ignoring the unfinishedness of it, I might actually prefer that artstyle.
