You're right. I was mistaken. The new Sage's set is what I was recalling. I just checked my own character's blacksmith, and I have the pattern for Captain Crimson's. I have done exactly ONE set of bounties so far this season, too. You may need to put in a ticket to have Blizzard investigate why it hasn't dropped for you yet.

Your blacksmith automatically learns the new Captain Crimson's pattern when you level him up to level 12. New for Season 18.
