posted a message on 2.6.1 new damage affixes vs items skill damage

The new Items Orange dmg affixes are all multiplicative (i.e. Condemn 800% from Fyrdehrs Wrath) . Skilldmg on Items like 15% Condemn on Shoulders (Blue affix) are in the category "damage increased by skills" and additive with all kinds of other buffs and debuffs in that category (blue affix skill dmg; holy cause passive; heavenly strenght passive; Toxin gem debuff; stromgarm bracers debuff; Wizard Cold blooded passive; Taeguk gem; ..... google to Check the whole list of the "dmg increased by skills" category. The category itself is its own multiplier but all Skills/items/passives of that category are additive with each other. So you need to look at the whole picture. TL;DR: 800% orange dmg affix is multiplicative; 15% Blue dmg affix is additive however multiplicative with These new items. in your example 1.15 (shoulders) x 9 (Fydr Wrath) = 10.35 multiplier. ... sry for Format. Typed on My phone... ( BTW. Akkhan set is x16 multi, Akkhan Skill Akarat Champ is x1.35 multi)

posted a message on Speed 100 in 2mins20

I did a 4:17 on 100 the other day. On my solo wiz. Meh, still pretty proud of the speed of my solo runs (especially the one with the mentioned time) xD

Still missing the group multiplier and double the time. So I guess I still level only at ~1/3 of the speed in comparison to the fastest para-farmer.

posted a message on Anyone else thinking Blizz should return Mirinae Inarius proc to the before nerf ???

well I don't own the necro pack, from challenge rifts I know that I don't like the class at all.

but one thing here I can say for sure, if they ever make mirinae viable again and ONLY for necro then they should definetely consider changing the theme of the gem from holy to anything else.

It makes like the least sense to have a necro use a holy gem xP

Would be nice though if it would be a powerful gem for classes that use fast holy skills. So that would be only for Monks and Crusaders.

All these damage buffs and not a single buff to toughness. We're gonna one-shot everything until a certain point, then we'll get one-shotted instead. Hating this...

Well this is not exactly true.
Just a few examples. Bone Armor and Soul Harvest both are now more comfortable to use and get your (def) stacks up.
The one item that stands out the most for me in regard to def bonuses is the wizards orb of infinite depth. which def component seems like to get buffed from 15% to 20% which is HUGE! 60% dmg mitigation (which is already quite strong) will be then 80%!!! that's the most ridiculous dmg mitigation from a single source in the entire game. It's just another separate 50% dmg reduce on top of the current 60%.

And by the way I havent carefully read all the notes and numbers as of yet...

So read all carefully before you complain, cus to me your complain is coming out of the blue.... ;)

posted a message on DMG Stats

126k is the dmg you are looking for.

however you seem to have items on your charater that deal % Holy Dmg (like on Bracers, Amulet, ...check your items for that) which is added to your sheet dmg, but only when you are using Holy Skills to do dmg.

In your case you deal 158k with holy skills, and 126k with skills of any other element.

In case you didnt know. Hover over your skills to see which elemental dmg it does. Usually you can change the rune of that skill to get it to deal another type of dmg (but also get another effect of course, as you might have noticed ;) )

posted a message on Endgame is boring HC isn't a challenge

nobody is denying that it's not a challenge to push GR to your limits in HC mode.

but it's a fact that it's easier to reach a certain rank in HC than it is in SC. Main reason was already mentioned several times. The competition is just not there.

posted a message on Endgame is boring HC isn't a challenge

I doubt he got full ancients BiS best stats, too. But the point is it's easier to get ranked top30 in hc than in sc on day 6 during the season.

    point being is:

    - alot less hc players than sc

    - hc players are often very scared of dying. so if you really push your limit you have that LB benefit on your side as well.

    - season is only 6 days old, very low chances of dying due to a DC or any other internet issue at this point. (this is the point why I don't play hc anymore, need offline mode :P )

posted a message on Toughest Class? Haven't tried every class.

Dh for sure. They got th most viable endgame builds that are tough. This is mainly because of the many good options on skills and items that they usually pick. On top of a standard ~50% def Bonus from a set or lon they additionally can often fit in perma vengeance 50% and have a wide variety to additionally boost their toughness without sacrificing offense (aquila cubed, generator wrists, endless walk, elusive ring...). There are many Builds from other classes that only use 2 def multiplier which just is utterly squishy in high push builds. I dont like those...

posted a message on Primal re roll

the roll was just good. I would've kept it that way. It's not like that the 10% dmg (even less if using a dmg offhand - don't know how they're called for the necro ^^) instead of 1k vit would make your necro much stronger.

I remember so many suggested item re-rolls that afterwards were regreted. Especially on a weapon. Why rushing the re-roll if you're not 100% certain? It was just very good the way it dropped.

posted a message on What do you think about the new Challenge Rifts mode?
    Quote from AnaheimDanger»

what it should be instead is they should make you redo a super high top 10 solo gr clear so the noobs can see it takes much more than just gear and paragon to do a high lvl grift. would also be muich more fun, competitive and challenging this way.

    exactly my thoughts.

further more the rest was already mentioned. this first challenge rift is so misleading. the character is poorly equipped, bad rolled gear, totally giving inexpierienced player false information about the game.
I would be fine with builds that actually do have synergies. For example a Cleave Barbarian build, which uses all mechanics, tricks, and available items to buff celave. Sure it can't clear as high as Whirlwind and therefore nobody will ever push with such a build. Still I did it and managed to clear with pure Cleave a GR84. Such builds should be advertised and then make it a challenge rift on GR75. Builds like that are fun, available but won't be used cus of the fact that they're not top tier.
I had hopes that Challenge Rifts at least a little bit going in that direction. From what I've seen in the 1st one this is ridiculous, sorry :(

posted a message on Shrouded Moors is a cool area.

In the past those new areas were first introduced to rifts before making it's way to the grift map pool.

More variety is always welcome but it's also important that there won't be added too many cave like maps. Open maps are just more fun when running the same stuff over and over again. The addition of Battlefields of eternity and Festering Woods was so great that you almost don't want to play most other maps anymore ;)

posted a message on This is Joke (Drop-Craft-Kadala-Botters) S10

regarding crafting your tal amulet with bounty mats, I recommend doing that with the 10 db / 10 fs receipt. it's much more important to get a really good one with the proper stats than an ancient one where you can get 500 int, which won't help you all that much.

You can farm the mats while farming keys which is the most important thing and don't need to go for bounty runs.

It was the only thing I've used my mats on and after ~15k dbs / 15k fs I crafted a almost perfect one (and several very useful ones on the way)

stats are 96 chd, 9,5 cc, 8 cdr (rerolled), socket

If you also searching some other amulets (travelers, etc) I feel like yes bounties is the way to go there...

Primals is the same for me. Every 8-10 days a primal on average (and a shitty one too, ofc ;) ). But it's not like Primals are important anyway. Maybe a weapon would be nice, but then again I won't craft a weapon with bounty mats since the chances to get one are so very little that I overall just pray to RNG. Farming bounties won't guarantee me one of those so I wont do it.

And yeah don't care too much about botters. I think everyone knows who's cheating and who is not.

posted a message on So much focus on item/skills used...why not so much when you use them

As already mentioned the Lightning Archon (especially the CoE variants) relies heavily on timing.

There are plenty of other builds that actually utilize CoE to line up with certain buffs to get heavy burst phases (don't use CoE just as a flat 50% dmg buff over time). It's far from mindless gameplay.

    For exampe:

    -LoN-Bomb

    -LoN-FoK

-Lightning EQ Barb (if I may promote my build here, since the gameplay actually exactly fits the skill rotation / awareness thing the OPs mentioning ;) )

the list goes on for sure...

However it should be somehow obvious that for repeating easy content just to farm keys/items/xp/etc you want easy builds to just smash buttons and dont think about your play ;)

So it's actually only valid in high grifts.
