posted a message on patch 14- zombie dogs UP!
The fields of misery and other post-gate zones are higher level than the beta stuff. I wouldn't think this would need to be mentioned, but apparently in your mind the game's difficulty doesn't scale at all. Your level-capped zombie dogs are under-leveled for the new zones. Further, zombie dogs aren't supposed to be infinitely sustainable tanks, they're supposed to get killed and need recasting sometimes.

Until it comes out? I has to come out eventually, so if we keep buying into "soon" we will eventually be right. If you keep disbelieving it, you will eventually be wrong.

Who's the silly one now Mr. Negative Nancy?

posted a message on Please explain these two skills to me.
The cooldown is a pretty enormous reason, as is the knockback. A spammable 1 second CD AOE spell is good for dealing damage at close range in a persistent way. A 15 second cooldown knockback spell isn't, it's more of an "oh shit" button, used when you are in trouble. I couldn't load up Wave of Force as a primary skill.

I just think to myself, these people are presumably sending in bug reports/posting on forums about the game. It's like asking a 15 year old to analyze a CT scan.

Welcome to the internet, where no one cares if you use naughty words. The beta isn't about bug reporting anyway. The rare bugs we do catch in the beta would eventually get almost certainly get picked up by QA regardless. Our job is compatability testing, and that requires virtually no feedback other than what the application sends on its own.

Also, no offense to our QA pals, but writing bug reports isn't exactly difficult. Time-consuming, mind-crushing, and absolutely essential to software development, sure. But not difficult.

In other words you are one of these immature kids.

Anyone who disagrees with you is the enemy, right? This attitude is the reason why almost everything that sucks, sucks. Bravo.

Apparently adblocker was blocking it. All I saw was that initial monstrosity of a sentence, with no context to speak of, and I was after clarification. My mistake.

So yes, I do have a comment. There was a hotfix for the content glitch hours and hours ago, I'm pretty sure you're looking at the result.

I don't think, grammatically speaking, you can drop the subject and still have it qualify as a complete sentence.
    lol?

Well, if you're going to edit the post, my comment doesn't make any sense, now does it?

The difference being hell scaled up to 80 or so and stopped. Hell ends at 60 here, and starts at 50ish. Inferno starts at 60. The point is to have the entire game's content be challenging to a max level character, rather than just the last portion/boss fights. Hell didn't stay difficult, because it scaled and you surpassed it eventually. Inferno will remain challenging.

posted a message on Pvp Updates
Cutting systems that aren't working isn't unusual. The Talisman wasn't working, it wasn't just a "we need to get this out the door" situation, it was that the system needed a complete overhaul to be any good, and it was such a small part of the game that it wasn't worth it. Other than that, what systems have been cut that had any significance?

PvP is getting delayed slightly. The game goes gold well before release (3-4 weeks usually, sometimes more), which means PvP will likely get patched in on launch day. If not then, a week or two later at most. You guys are blowing this way out of proportion.

It all comes down to the same old bullshit. The majority of people who fill these threads want quality and they want it fast, but those things are mutually exclusive. The game WOULD NOT BE GOOD if they just "went ahead and released it" at your whim.

Well, it's clearly working as a 30 minute video, no arguing with that since it got 10millionish views in like three days. But yeah, as I understand it Invisible Children takes a lot of money off the top from donations. The charities that give away the biggest portion of donations they get to their actual cause tend to get the least attention, because they're focusing on helping and not putting on a show.

I saw a good one earlier today, but I can't find it D:

No one ever wants to do philanthropic type work unless it's easy. Linking a video is very easy. It makes you feel good without having to do anything about the problem. Everyone feels moved for a few hours, links the video, maybe buys a t-shirt, and pats themselves on the back for a job well done. It's a mindless exercise in ego boosting for largely selfish reasons.

Queue everyone calling me out for not wanting to help make the world a better place. I have volunteered at a soup kitchen for 10 years, what have you done lately?

I would love it to be true. But the ss has photoshop open at the bottom. And the WoW thing is gone, which it wouldn't be. And the Diablo 3 thing rather than "III."

    Hopes... deleted.
