    Quote from italofoca

Multiheaded Zombie Dog (Cerberus Mod!): Instead of summoning X zombies, summons a single zombie dog with X heads. He has more HP and damage and attack with X hits at once (like level X zeal). When he dies, he leaves X normal zombie dogs behind that will fight for a few seconds.Bone Head Zombie Dog: This zombie dog have a big head of bone. Instead of common bite attacks, he will try to hold the enemy with his mouth doing physical damage over time and holding then still (in case of small monsters) or slowing then (in case of bigger monsters). Multiple bone head zombie dogs can attack the same target stacking the slow effect until inflicting paralysis.Guardian Zombie Dogs: This will modify the ZD's A.I. Instead of attacking the nearby enemies, they will stay close to the WD, forming a circle around him. Whenever a enemy comes near they will try to block the way and attack the agressor. Due their defensive pattern, they are stronger then the normal zombie dogs. They should have a different visual too (maybe greyi or white colour).

Burrowing zombie dogs : they go underground and pop up to attack enemy. It could be very useful in pvp because they won't be as easy to target and kill.

    Quote from Jackzor

Poison dogs that leave a short trail behind them and when they are sacrificed they create a poison cloud instead of the explosion. Kind of like the poison corpses in the Lut Gholein sewers.

    Quote from enkeria

    • Bonesplitter effect, when enemies hit the zombie dog, the dog will "leak" bones, as sharp daggers. Making damage to enemies that hit the zombiedog.• Having the zombiedogs charge into enemies it they are a half screen or more away from the zombiedog when its time for an attack. Stuneffect perhaps.• Acidblood - A Zombiedog leaves a trail of blood, making it acid for demons that steps into it and dealing small continues damage. (like mentioned above by Jackzor)

    I. Love. All. These. Ideas.

Sacrificial Zombie Dog - The Zombie Dog mimics the stats of the creature you summon it from, almost like Iron Golem did with weapons. The higher the stats, it would cost X more to summon.
(Though admittedly I think it'd work better with Gargantuan).

    he grunts louder and louder.

This rune would be very valuable to me lol.

How about instead of landing on his feel he does a belly flop and casts mass confusion, but takes a few seconds to recover.

    Yup, this.

That is why I think the first expansion will turn the tables and have us fight the heavens. That way it will be different enough from the rest to make it seem like we are not passing by Diablo and fighting someone else.

.. I almost agree with you on this. Fighting hell has been a long standing battle and as for story line could go on forever, but for playability, as of the 3rd game it might get old. There are plenty ways this could happen and still be productive to lore and gameplay. I wouldn't mind at all if this happened.

Final boss of the game is going to be Bashiok. No, really. In all seriousness, I'm pretty confident Diablo will be the last boss in the core game/initial release. Most of the reasons why people did Baal runs was for experience. You don't need that any longer as you'll be hitting 60 during normal play (unlike 99 post 1.10). All they need to do is some sort of repeatable quest where you kill a random act boss for better chance in loot, and all the act bosses are buffed to the same difficulty level.

An the only way to defeat Bashiok would be to out troll him via in game chat.

Good point that we'll be reaching max rank naturally by the end game. I sure hope that they'll be more than a few places to farm for loot though, and I also hope it's a real challenge. Uber Trist was good, though a few classes were just far to OP and ruined the challenge, and thus rarity of the loot.. On topic though, I'd place a good sum of money on Diablo appearing in game as himself, big red and firey :bigD:.

In Diablo 2 I always enjoyed my WW barb, just spinning through mobs not ever going below 96% health <3. In D3, who knows what I'll enjoy.. There are soOoOo many skill variations.. The WD looks to have some of the more comical skills though, I wonder how effective a Giant toad WD would be.. lol

I'm pretty sure they brought a good amount of items from Diablo 1 to Diablo 2, In all honestly I played Diablo 1 for all of maybe 10 hours, so I could be wrong but I swore I saw a few. Seeing as Diablo 3 takes place in the same world not long after Diablo 2 I'd also like to see some classic gear from older games re-envisioned with new crisp graphics .

posted a message on Achievement System
I haven't given the achievement system to much thought before this. I like the ideas you guys have, like maybe some eye candy for your char after achieving a high goal, or name titles. I'm glad there'll be an incentive for playing other classes and meticulously exploring the world. Also as said before, it'll give people a reason to at least try PvP, myself listed as one of them. I'd try it anyway, but I'll likely be playing PvP just to get all the achievements for it. After watching the PvP demos and fans videos, I get the general vibe of it and am not a fan, I'd rather be grinding for loot :offtopic:.

posted a message on Beta Coming Sooner Than Expected?
I'd place my chips in August - October. I figure the Beta won't be very long, 2-3 months and since I've already got chips in a early 2012 release August - October seems about right.

I hope I'm terribly wrong though..

It's not up to it's potential for sure. Right now Verizon's average 4G is 50-60 mbps. With the money put into maximizing 3G we can cover a lot of area with midrange 4G. I think over the next 2 years it'll mature.

That's the sad truth. Flash has potential, it just would cost Adobe a good amount of money to improve it, and likely have very little financial increase from it. So, it'll not happen any time soon. They're slowly tweaking, so we can expect improvement, slow but steady, oh did I mention slow?

True G4 which at this point only Verizon's LTE 4G network can uphold (though the others are working to reach a true 4G standard by 2012) is truly A LOT faster than even the best 3G connection. The few areas who have it right now are raving about it. Mobile G4 supplied wi-fi is like having a cable connection from the videos I seen of users.

    Quote from Don_guillotine
Secondly, nothing says that all classes must get the same amount of damage mitigation per 1 point of armor. This follows logically from the fact that each class has the armors' looks tailored to look good, and as such the armors will appear of different heaviness for each character. I think no str/dex requirements is a good choice.

.. Idky I didn't think of that.. Touche' Don. Though that's still to be proven, it would make perfect sense, and compliment each class'es play style.

I'd be lying if I said I feel like debating opinion and views anymore.. We're talking about armor across classes. The class specific traits, prerequisites, and looks. There are worries about re-playability, balance across classes, and opinions on what requirements should be met. No matter how hard you try this is one of those threads which could go on forever because it's so convoluted. WE haven't seen the system in action, we're missing fact about how stats work across classes, and how or if the pool traits are class specific on the armor. Speculation is great, but debating it is a wild goose chase. Let's stick with the facts we know.

    - Looks change class specific.

    - There is only a lvl req.

    - There will be some aspect that is class specific as said by Jay at blizzcon, though we're not 100% sure what.

    - I will have the best barb ever.

You're pretty much right. Long story short, Apple hates flash because it sucks, Flash hates Apple for not just putting it in anyway, Apple takes the lose of flash content over a unreliable platform. Still, there are tons of web browsing apps which have flash support. Apple is invested in H.264, a media format much better than flash, and is quickly growing.

posted a message on Crossbows = Guns
We're arguing opinions, and negatives. The two debates that have no right or wrong answer. Also the two things that thrive on the internet.. -sigh- ..

As far as game play goes it's undeniable that the capability to use two crossbows adds an extra option for the DH, as stated about. This is fact. Blizzard isn't going to remove is, not only did they say they love it, blizzcon roared in agreement that it was awesome after a guy from the Q/A accused the idea of being "uncreative". It's staying, sorry.

I don't like that she's in stilettos, it's unrealistic, how can she possible fight in high heals, all the other classes where normal shoes, I'm going to go make a thread about it.. -sarcasm- <_<
