Feb 8, 2011SandyTheSandman posted a message on The Death of Your Followers (and Attack Rating)I think I will miss the fact that stats do determine some part of the chance to miss and all. It was a great customization in my point of view. However, in compensation, D3 has more other stats to play with, so I guess its all goodPosted in: News

The colors won't cover your face like they did in D3 and you will get to actually arange the colors on your character's gear instead of looking like a clown with red helm, blue armor, green boots etc. Of course some people might find that hilarious but at least you are given the choice to select the color combinations which you like best. (Lol I can see people making characters to look like flags :D)
D3 aint out yet -

An easy way to take the edge off the 'everyone looking the same' is simply to have a variety of 'highest' end level sets of armour. Then people can have a bit of choice in what they look like.
That would require more models, and this is time and resource consuming. Both of which could be spent on improving other, more major aspects of the game. Also, the other armor (low end, etc.) will still look the same, and this is the more commonly used armor, hence variation amongst players is still less. However, perhaps 1 or 2 choices present maybe an ideal solution, rather than having a variety, or none at all. -

I suppose that comes down to which your fingers are more familiar with.
Anyhow, exploring the console area aint such a bad idea as consoles are meant to handle games with high performance and such, and they're bound to do it anyways -

I feel gem shrines would be way OP with the new gem classes. Imagine getting to skip the last level because you found a gem shrine. They would be invaluable.
I think to drop any level (let alone the last level), would be a pity, even more so for a gem. I'd rather play the level than get the gem. Gem shrines drop and/or upgrade gems (if i remember correctly) - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I think eventually a mod will move it
Also, crests should've been made for the 'older' classes, but I just can't see Blizzard going through the effort of doing it for them...

I don't think the idea will catch on, albeit it being a creative one. There's just too many hiccups to solve
