I don't really unterstand why so many people are upset about the necro pushing 20 GRs higher than any other class. It's not like you should compare yourself to necro if you play, say crusader oO. If you clear GR100 on crusader, why even care about someone pushing 110 with a nec?

Are you trolling? How many guys run anything below GR 100 in non season? How many Demon Hunters can play in group? Why my friend would play with me GR 95 when he can play with other friend in GR 105? Do I have to be everyone's best friend if I want to find group as DH? Am I a good friend if I ask them to sacrifice each time because of me?
if I play with friends (not clan members, not randoms), as in real-life friends, I give zero fucks about what we are doing. because we play for fun. If I wanna play efficiently, well that's a total different story, I have a different char for that (guess what, it's from a "meta-class"). -

you don't have to play the same builds over and over again, you know? I usually only play one class per season, as i don't have too much time anyways. so, ich played garg WD in S7, supp monk/gen monk in S8 and this season i'm trying out crusader as a main and play supp barb for some grinds. to me that's very different builds every season and in S10 i could easily play wiz for a change. so unless you're a 24/7 no-lifer i really don't see how you always have to play the same builds every season. but that's just my 2 cents, no offense
Well, well, well, I cannot help myself thinking that this year is everything Necro oriented and for this obvious reason the patches and seasons before he arrives should not feel great as the glorious one with him. And my guess is it will not happen earlier than in Season 12, launching around Blizzcon17. In other words, let us starve for a while so we could be really hungry for the Necro. I might be mistaken, but presenting Primal Ancients or questionable Rimeheart just proves this. Are these going to change anything? Not really. Primal Ancients - the name might have come from the fact that they affect only "primal" stats as dmg, vit and main stat. But wouldn't it be really cool if they boost other stats by up to 30%? What about having Cooldown up to 12,5%, Area Dmg up to 30% or attack speed up to 9%? In that case the builds not benefitting from weapon dmg, as thorns, would be stronger as well. The other case is Rimeheart and I wonder why devs apply the common "so we doubled it" and do not exaggerate as they usually do on PTR. I still think that they could have easily apply a range between 20 to 35 %. Well, well, well, there are so many options how to make every season a bit unique, bringing some interesting change (Armory and mats are fine life changes), but for some reason the strategy seems to be different.
actually the thorns sader does benefit from A LOT from primals. thorns as a secondary stat is increased by 30%ish on EVERY item. so, if you happen to farm a full LON-thorns crusader with primal ancient gear, it should be way stronger than with just ancient.

Primal negates paragon by quite a bit.
Primal also will take other LoN sets higher compared to normal sets due to scaling.
In the end, primal is brilliant!

don't think you can gamble anything else for DH at low level. But you can always check out this kadala thingy, dunno how exact it is though. just tested the hellcast waistguard, works fine on level 1 DH.
But, since there's still a week left before season 12, you can just test those things. get some shards, make a new char and gamble away

I'll use 5 to cube some bracers for my barb
and 1 for leveling up the blacksmith to craft a level 70 weapon with reduced level requirements

It makes the season start so much easier.
You get 4.6 million gold and mats. so you can level up the 3 vendors right out of the gate (which you would have to do for the journey anyway), craft items every few levels and the stuff written above.
And completing the CRift in a group is even easier since you don't have to complete it solo. and should never take more than 10 mins. the benefits gained vastly outweigh the 10 mins "wasted".

You can't enter T7-T13 games until you hit level 70. Or was that changed?

Take the Barb for example.
With the shards and mats from the CRift you can gamble Bracers of the First man with level 1. Those give you up to +500% damage on Hammer of the Ancients, which is insane. You couldn't wear those bracers until level 16, BUT you can get cube right away and extract that legendary power. With this you'll have a 500% multiplier the whole time while leveling as soon as the HotA-skill is unlocked (at level 2!) and don't have to wear those level 16 bracers all the way up to level 70.
Also, with the DBs now in the CRift loot, you can level your blacksmith to 12 and start crafting level 70 weapons right away. Get lucky and get -30 level req on it and you can go to T4-T6 as soon as you hit level 40.
I did a testrun of this on the PTR, and it really was a fun experience. It'll make season starts way more enjoyable for me.

if possible, create the new char --> do the challenge rift --> claim the reward with the new char = 300 bloodshards --> gamble
that is IF you can do the CR before hitting lvl 70

the recipes can drop at any level and you can craft those at any level, but you can obv. only wear them when you hit 21/23.

The dagger-version of the Barber seems to be back in the loot pool. This one had the CHD stat. Dunno if this was on purpose or is just another 2.6.0 bug

Now they just have to fix the interface. Having to click those 2/3 top buttons to open this page of 5 stash tabs is just plain annoying and useless. Instead all stash tabs should be aside the stash...
