My guess is still that at Blizzcon, they'll release some sort of DLC pack with an Act 6 campaign; whether free for paid. Finishing off the D3 story with one of the hand drawn styled cutscenes is kinda crappy and this will at least make the game somewhat complete. They don't have a game director atm so I doubt that it'll be the release of a fully fledged xpac with an increase in character level, new skills, new class, etc. There's a lot of work that follows post release with balancing that stuff but a new Act is doable.
Meanwhile, they'll probably showcase some legendary powers for the remaining items with no powers, and maybe another round of 6pc sets, one for each class, to look forward to in 2017... maybe an increase in stash tabs to 15? These things are small scale enough that someone at Wyatt Cheng's could oversee it.
There might be a tease of D4... maybe introducing the new game director if they've hired the person but I seriously doubt they'll be showcasing anything, just announcing that they're working on it and that it'll be released when it's ready.

I'm guessing the pennant will drop from either Bashiok or from the fallen corpse that drops Wirt's Original leg.

My group did Boss Mode and it was definitely quite fun. Though, we each took A1, 2, 4, and 5 (my barb was specced for a bit of speed so I took A5... didn't stop me from being last to our respective bosses each time). Went to one boss in each of those act per round and did the TP and waypoint trick as suggested in the article. After the 3 bosses in each of those acts were done, we then split up A3.
Done with 2min spare.
Between this and the 350 kill conquest, they're definitely the two easiest to do in groups.

And this is why so many NS are up in arms about those stash tabs being bound to Season.Quote from Archangel2736»
2 pieces after reach lvl 70 (I agree); Defeat Izual at lvl 70 on T2 or higher (not agree), should be T6 or higher, last 2 pieces should be at least GR45....Players can do around at 400-500 Paragon, GR70+ solo even non ancients ( I did in S5) and after need to farm more paragon, augments and you can do speed GR70-75+ solo, etc...
As primarily a NS player, The current implementation of Haedrig's Gift does allow me to get that tab in under a week then go back to NS play. I hit ~P400 in S5 when I got my tab but still helped out clan mates with getting their tab so ended up at ~P600. I did not want to hang around seasons more than I needed to with the exception of attempting some Conquests simply because I had the gear.
But making the seasonal journey easier for players like me will dilute the experience for players who play seasons for seasons. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

The only exception I'd make would be AU and NZ players. People in general chat always bail because of the high latency they have when connecting to the AU server so AU and NZ players should switch to the 'ANZ' chat.

People, there's a VERY ACTIVE chat channel in HOTS with people doing AI rushes all the time.
Just post on there to find someone, make a party with them, send them a friend request and you're good to go.

Yes, you need to play with a Diablo hero and with a friend in game.
You can get sub 5min runs with a full party that has good sustain between 2 or 3 players in the front line and 2 or 3 defense destroyers (like Azmodan) in the back line and push a lane. Just don't get a recalcitrant player who wants to lane and get to level 10 in the match like I did (if done right, you won't have time to hit lvl10).

There's a chat channel in game... super easy to find someone from reading that ;-)

I've never tried multiboxing in HOTS but it seems doable:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-DCrl1posc
I normally set up my gaming laptop next to my desktop and move the second account forward every 15sec so that hero keeps attacking. Not the best setup but I'm not keen on spending more money just to multibox (tried it once in D3, liked it but I was only going to get it for RBG farming which I've given up on... better things to do with my time).
EDIT: As for whether MB is allowed in HOTS... can't seem to find a concrete answer on the HOTS forum. Usually threads just unravel into a debate on why you'd want to do it as opposed to whether it's allowed.

If players new to HOTS really want to give PvP a try, I'm sure they will. Otherwise, there's the tips here for those who just want to get through their 15 games to get their wings asap.
In my case, I'm getting through the games on 4x accounts so I'm gonna do it as fast as I can.

Valla and Li Ming both have good damage builds. I know Valla's grenades build seems to do a lot of damage but I've seen some mean Li Ming MM and disintegrate builds. The Archon one that keeps you disintegrating has good dps (just like in D3).
As for healers, Auriel is definitely the current preference but you need a team that does a lot of damage as I understand and I've always found Kharazim better for doing damage to defenses. The flurry of attacks he does destroys structures so quickly when I used him.
Sonya has good sustain (esp when whirlwind heals) so she does great soaking up damage for the team. With Kharazim doing some extra healing, I'd imagine both of them great on the frontline. Of course, you just want players who are good with their character for pushing to be on your team.

He won't be able to carry the team but if you have a few other soakers and good damage dealers, I do think 3min is doable.
My pick for a team: Azmo, Li Ming (who's got incredible range), Valla, Sonya and Kharazim.

@ Bagstone: That's great news mate! Seems that the reward does take a bit of time to arrive but at least it's come. Better late than never.
@ BlackCurse: Azmodan's laser build is probably the best bet for a 3-5min run and he's a 2k hero too. I did some solo xp farming recent with Azmo and he does a good job with taking down defenses and forts.

Cheers for the heads up RE the HOTS rewards not be awarded now Bagstone.
Out of curiosity, did you log into D3 and start up a game too? I remember the HOTS rewards only arrive after you start up a D3 game. Drove me crazy.
I've found a few threads on this and someone here said that you now need a character to be at lvl12, not the account anymore and then someone else said that didn't work for them. Another player said that it may take a while for the reward to come through:

It all seems a bit confusing atm. Would be a shame if players can no longer unlock the HOTS rewards for D3.

@ Bagstone.
I posted a few tips on the AU/NZ D3 forums here (just disregard the ANZ forum one if you're not from down under):
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/d3/topic/20755566248#post-7
Also look up Genji Runs Tips... if Overwatch players can get their heads around HOTS, D3 players sure can as well.
As for Azmodan, I think you'll find that he'll be a good choice. Don't worry about the heal. Assemble a laser build as Seriious09 says as after you fire the laser (which requires you getting in defenses attack range) you can step backwards whilst still firing to get out of their range. You could also get your team mates that are tanks to walk ahead and take the hits whilst you set up.

Yeah, it's basically Genji runs all over again. A decent team will do each game in 3-4min vs AI if they keep to maps that you can directly attack the core.

Well finally! After all the events in Heroes of the Storm that grant rewards for WoW and OW, D3 finally gets something. Here are the details...

As someone who plays HOTS quite a bit, it's a pretty easy task for a pretty cool pair of wings.
