While there's no doubt that RRoG is (arguably) one of the best rings in the game, it can certainly be made harder to obtain. Only because other rings like SoJ and Unity can't be farmed like the RRoG can.
Of course some may have better luck than others when it comes to how often the RRoG drops from the cache, it still has that chance to drop from it.

Wait a minute.....Ring of Grandeur is found in Act 1?! I've been farming the wrong act this entire time!!
    Not sure if serious...

Possible jokes aside, would you not agree that it would be a far more elegant, and substantially less cheesy way of obtaining it?
Haha I was actually being serious, I thought the RRoG dropped from the Act 2 cache :P

It's an interesting topic, this one. Both rings are definitely of high value, perhaps instead of swapping them around, why not just make the RRoG harder to obtain?
    Here's what I think they should do with it (keep in mind this is my opinion);
Why not add a separate list of legendaries only obtainable from a cache that is received upon completing ALL bounties across ALL acts?

Yeah pretty good over here, trying to juggle my uni life (assignments, study etc.), my work life (sorting out work placement/experience, finding a new job as the current one is closing down end of May), and my social life (games, sports, gym, family and friends). It's all pretty cruisey though.

Don't we all wish we could be relaxing and doing what we want :P

Wow you must be incredibly happy with that! 35 lbs is a lot of weight to lose! Good to hear you're doing well mate!

The new D3 expansion is great fun! I can't wait to see the ever growing list of additions and changes that they'll be making come Blizzcon (if there is one), that's on top of the list that currently exists now too! Whether you should buy it is completely up to you. I can tell you to go and buy it and that you'll have fun, but we all play games for different reasons so I'll let you make a decision based on what you see and hear :P It's a lot more fun that what it previously was though I can tell you that much!

RoS is great fun Umpa! Rifts are addictive, as is adventure mode.

My only gripe is that it is not friendly to poor players, everything costs so much! <--- only if you let it cost a lot though, the more you reforge an item the more expensive it gets. Although upgrading gems burns through the bank like something nasty.

posted a message on [SPOILERS] RoS isn't about Malthael, it's about us, the Nephalem.
As I progressed through act V I had this feeling that more of the focus was pointed at us, the Nephalem. How strong we were, how we were special. Of course it wasn't pushed completely aside, anyone who has completed act V by now will have noticed that Malthael was still the main villain at hand and needed to be dealt with.

The ending cinematic after the death of Malthael gave me chills because it wasn't until then that I realised the emphasis that the characters of the campaign had put on our ever evolving power and ability to overcome all odds. What Tyrael said could have very well been a hint at what's to come. "But within him/her beats a mortal heart that will one day be tempted to corruption. On that day, will he/she have the strength to resist, or will he/she be our doom."

    Speculation time:
Sure Diablo has been released from the soulstone and will resurrect one again, but I strongly feel that we will become the threat in the next expansion, if there is one.

    What do you guys think?

posted a message on What's the closest call you've had with death?
Have you had a close call with death before? One so close you're not sure how you made it out alive? Share it! :)

    Mine was something like this:
While playing my Demon Hunter (level 42), I came up against a rare pack of 5 skeletal executioners (the ones brandishing the 2-handed axes) with the following affixes; Frozen, Waller, Molten. It was inside the Keep Depths level 2. I was running around like a chook without it's head for what felt like a few minutes, then all of a sudden I got trapped in a doorway, walled on either side, and to top it off some frozen circles started charging up around me. I got frozen in the first wave, no way I could have escaped that. Then I saw another wave being charged up and I thought that was the end, no way I'm getting out of this alive, being chain frozen to death is not pleasant. So I mashed my vault ability like there was no tomorrow and by sheer luck the next set of walls were set so very badly that I was able to vault out just in time. I was so happy I got out of it. Didn't go near Keep Depths level 2 for about a day after that happened haha.

    EDIT: Grammar is hard.

posted a message on Legendary vs. Set Poll!
A lot of the time it's set items for me, just because I feel the range at which set item stats can roll is a lot less than that of most legendaries. That is most likely untrue in fact though.
