Does anyone know if the 1:1 price ratio is also working for other countries that their currency is LESS than American Dollars (making it actually cheaper) or are those greedy bastards (who ever is in fact at fault for this) only picking and choosing the higher prices?

MY biggest question is if I get my cousin to get a year subscription (who actually plays WoW) can I get D3 on MY battle.net account?
rofl no, that would make zero sense. the account that signs up gets the free diablo, period

bleh, I don't play WoW (at least not for a while), no point than. besides why get what you can bully others to get for you.

Also, to debunk your theory, sometimes it's better to take the follower if it will help you kill faster. Say you can kill 5 mobs a minute each granting 10xp. So that's 50xp a min. If he upped you to killing 10 a minute granting you a 100xp a minute but took 10% for himself that is still 90xp a minute, 40xp more than soloing. There's a whole math to everything, hell it'll be simpler to just solo it yourself :P

Can anyone confirm whether the pet will be account bound? I don't play WoW and it will be a shame if it can't be used. Besides $99 is a bit too much for me and would want to recoup some of my money (also, anyone know about how much the pet would net if it is sellable?)

I'm not sure if this is stated and don't remember how it was in DII but the achievements got me thinking, can you repeat a difficulty as well as skip the order (say, go straight to hell) instead of doing them all in order and one after another?

To prevent what Scyber said couldn't they just only allow the empowerment when you directly cast it on the dog (and make it that when you empower one, all the dogs become of that affix to prevent messyness or just OP)? I was actually interested in the elemental empowering of the Zdogs.

Absolutely zero reason to believe this.

Actually, seeing as how several of my friends that work for Blizzard have told me that this is EXACTLY why they're delaying it... there's plenty of reason to believe it.
Yah and Santa told me it was coming out this Christmas too....lying fat ****.

Sheesh, no need to flame the guy. He's either a liar or not but no need to get your panties in a knot, just ignore him.

But before I be believing anything do you have other news or information that a mole would know? ;)

I hope they buff up SB though. Having MW be a requirement in order for SB not to be sucky is kind of a downer. Though most Melee builds will most likely have both anyway but they said they want to try to avoid forced acts and 'forcing' you to get them both especially when you only have 6 max slots is kind of annoying.

    Hey Again Noxious,

I love how our two melee wizard builds are so different.

You've got what looks like a good set up there also.

As for Armor vs Defense, I touched on that a bit in my Blog post and I feel that defense is the better choice. Obviously, the developers know this, so you aren't going to find 1 amor equal on gear to 1 defense.

With defense you reduce ALL damage, where as Amor just reduces physical damage. Of course having alot of Amor is a must for the Mele Wizard I assume, but I think I will prefer to stack up that defense so ALL the damage is reduced (nasty ranged targets.. blag!)

There truly are so many options, I can't wait to test them all out come release!

Glad that you think so :)
Always fascinated with the 'arcane warrior' or spellsword class. Still have yet to find the game that truly gives me that class, something where melee is the primary attack but has enhancements say, like hp/str/def/speed/etc but also some spells that he can either lob at enemies like a fireball or lightning arc, either from a distance or for AoE including spells like magic weapon (or any 'elemental weapon' buff) and elemental armors. Still waiting for a game to release something like that.

The best I've found to this is actually in a ForgottenRealms book. The main character of the 'Haunted Lands trilogy' (Unclean, Undead, Unholy) by Richard Lee Byers is a Bard, normally I'm not a fan of bards but this one captured exactly what I want in a class. He was primarily a swordsman but could sing enhancements that buffed up his strength and agility, yell shouts that could shatter bone or knockback (granted I would want mine to have elemental spells :P) but even do things like sing charms to enhance his disposition, or manipulate his target, sing a charm that allows him to understand other languages and speak it as well. Sing a silencing spell and just countless others. Byers really took advantage of the class, possibly even more so than a bard should go :P but also a really good read, I recommend it, for the story but also to see how awesomely he captured the bard class. Also like a battlemage, something of a hybrid as well, I like to be prepared for anything :D
Edit: oh check the wiki page, also he can sing a song that will teleport him, a Bard that can teleport with song? Tell that is not epic.

But can I some critique on it? I don't have the better and don't know any of the mechanics. like I mentioned I might modify runes to get more Ap, reduced CD or life-leech based on how much I need them. but being that you can test it out give me your opinion on everything, I guess I can test the above quandaries when I get the game myself but just curious on how my spells work out. Thanks in advanced :)

Also, would you say that Ice Armor is better or Energy Armor is more effective? (I never figured out whether 'armor' or 'defense' is actually better)

Ice Armor with golden rune has the best defensive effect (Whenever you are struck by a melee attack the bonus armor granted by Ice armor is increased by 85% for 10seconds. This can stack 3x). the rest just add chill or cold damage effects.

Whereas with Energy Armor we got:
    Alabaster: increases precision by 40%.
Crimson: increases all resistances by 180%
Gold: gain arcane whenever hit by ranged or melee
Indigo: rather than reducing AP it increases AP
Obsidian: if any attack does more than 26% of your life, the attack is reduced to only do 26% (no attack can ever do more than 26%- which is useful if you really get walloped).

So far my build is, any comments..
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#XWQicS!eVf!YcaZba

first three spells are the bread and butter of the build. if Indigo rune for SB grants 72% damage for each 'swing' than I will most likely keep it. Obsidian Rune for MW to grant my weapons knockback when they get too close for comfort. Energy Armor with precision+. Tele with WoF on arrival to give my self room if I port into a group of enemies. WoF with reduced AP cost and CD to cast more often if I need more room. and Slow Time to give myself more time to think if I'm crowded by enemies enhanced with alabaster to make myself quicker as well.
Passives are Galvanizing ward to increase shield duration (I get lazy activating shields all the time) plus the life regen is great for a melee build. Blur to decrease melee damage taken and Evocation to reduce CD on tele, WoF and Slow time.

Though I don't really have a chance to test it out so I don't know whether Ap cost, health or CDs will be an issue and if so I'll edit the runes to work better or for alternative passive skills, I was thinking; Unstable Anomaly (Knockback at 20% life- good for oh Sh!t), astral presence if Ap is an issue or Illusionist if I really need tele that often (though I probably won't but just putting it out there.) If I turn out to not have a problem with damage I'll use the Glass Cannon to plow through mobs for a bit though :)

Edit: also not sure if I want WoF or Frost Nova, might pick Nova with reduced CD or something to slow em down.. just saying.

Sounds good. I'm working on a few melee builds myself (using the skill calc) but what do you recommend? Wave of Force which simply knocks back enemies when they get too close for comfort or Frost Nova, which freezes them in place which would give you time to attack them unimpeded?

Prove to me that he doesn't.

No, the burden of proof does not lie on the atheist.
If you want proof, here's 50 simple ones that even a religious person should be able to grasp: http://godisimaginary.com/

here is no Creator I don't see what the problem is, he should be able to whip up the 'true' answer immediately.
and you're site is just atrocious. As a Jew I would like to dispute some of those points.
#1/2 prayer. Think of prayer as a request to your father. After all Don't we say that Gd is like our father? and sometimes your father simply says 'NO'. (On the side, the site gave examples of enormous caliber such as curing cancer, things that are life-changing to everyone. Maybe that person deserved to get sick and a simple prayer is not adequate or the answer is simply 'no', the person needed to get sick for punishment or whatever Gd decided is.
    are you pro death sentence?
alot of ppl die in cancer, that dont deserve it. such as my mother, who was always kind to everyone.
what you're suggesting is that maybe the ppl in the holocaust deserved to die? because prayers did no good. ridiculous in my opinion.
whichever example you take in prayers, the point was that it doesnt change the chances of whatever you're studying. rate of recovery from cancer or what have you.
the point was that no matter who prayed, or who you prayed for, there was never any effect. does that mean everyone that get's cancer, gets it as a punishment? and no prayer will ever help?
so why didnt hitler, osama, etc get cancer, but random ppl that might have done some small sin? is being a pornstar worse than causing the holocaust?
ofc they are both dead, but you'd think god could have punished them a little earlier, before they killed alot of ppl.
well imo there's a cause and an effect for everything, it doesnt have anything to do with god though.
cancer cases are increasing, because of how we live. radioactivity, nano particles, manipulated and processed food, and many other things. god doesnt need to kill us as punishment, cause we're doing a fine job of killing ourselves already.

To a degree yes, I don't think a serial killer who just murdered half a town deserves to breathe another breath though its also not something to be handed out to every petty thug. I'm no judge, I'm not getting into this nor the severity that the death penalty requires.
I'll admit I might not have been clear or I might have skipped over this point but once again, I am not a judge nor am I Gd, 'negative' things could happen but not necessarily as a punishment. If you aren't pro-death for the reason that 'how can we judge/take a human life' than your entire rebuttal is naught as all you were doing was comparing average people with cancer to Hitler. Like I said, I am not judging anyone no matter how obvious a person might seem to be 'evil' or 'good'. There are a lot more aspects and attributes that Gd looks into than merely 'She was a good lady' Please I am not discounting anyone, let alone your mother, I trust that she is an amazing woman, please do not take offense but how does a person REALLY know what another person is/was like? how many times in the paper is a rich entrepreneur who gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity found out to be a drug dealer or sex slave trader or what not, BUT then again I am not accusing everyone of having a secret life. Without going too much into explanations I have two stories that I hope will do the talking for me:

There is a parable (not sure the source) of a man who lost his horses, the village said he is an unlucky man, the next day the horses return and brought along a few wild horses, increasing his total, the village said he's a lucky man, the man went to ride the horse and he fell and broke his leg, the village said he's an unlucky man, later the gov't (or king or whatever authority you want to use) came and drafted all the young men, the war was tragic, everyone died but this man stayed home due to his injury and the village said that he is a lucky man.
    This one's a bit longer.
Once a scholar (it is a Jewish story so I can we can say rabbi) was learning and he got up for a second, when he returned he saw an angel (a specific angel that travels and performs certain tasks, I don't want to get too deep and digress) after they spoke the scholar asked to accompany the angel in his travels but the angel said on condition that the scholar asks no questions, the REALLY short version is that upon their travels they meet an extremely poor family who welcomes them in for the night, generously serving them whatever meager food they have. They depart and angel whispers something the family cows ear and it dies immediately and meet up with some rich guy who is in middle of building this huge estate, the pair walk over asking for a place to sleep but the guy is a huge a**hole, they sleep in the worker's hut, no food and on wooden benches. They got up in the middle of the night and the angel called down a group of angels and had the estate completely built for the rich contractor within a short time. Then they approached a poor village and when they requested a place to stay for the night everyone was fighting to do the honor of housing the guests even though not many could afford it. They left and the angel wished that they should be granted a great leader. They approached a rich town and made the same request but if they were not turned down immediately they were rudely ignored, they departed and the angel wished that they should all become leaders. The scholar could not take it and demanded to be told why the good were 'punished' yet the cruel were 'rewarded' the angel explained that the poor mother had a terminal illness and if I didn't 'transfer' it over to the cow she would have died that night, I have built the estate for the cruel man but it is a building of poor construction and it will fall apart shortly, if I let the workers to build there, they would dig for the foundations and discover an immense treasure worth more than the rich man is already worth. I blessed the poor village to have one powerful leader that will lead them to better times yet I cursed the rich village to all become leaders, with one leader you have a direction but with many leaders they will all fight for control causing more turmoil.

TL;DR version, I am not giving a solid answer but simply we do not know all of 'Gd's plans' Does a child really know that being sent to the corner is actually good for him and that in the coming years it will actually improve his character and make him a better person? No, I am not defending the 'punishments' of the good nor the 'rewards' of the bad. Also I want to point out that we really don't know what is really a 'punishment' or 'reward' I use apostrophes because so many things appear bad or good but are really not, like in the stories I gave. I know TRUE stories that people were found to have a minor tumor that really was nothing, the doctor checked it out and actually found an undetectable design that without the minor tumor would have never been found. Or I can name you dozens of stories that happened during 9/11 where people were fired from their jobs the weekend before and were worried about how to pay all their bills or were late to work ONLY on THAT day when they had a perfectly clean record. So all in all, we don't know what is REALLY a punishment or REALLY a reward or who is really bad or good
(Again, I am not saying anything about your mother or any of the countless people who have succumbed to illness, my own grandfather also passed from cancer as well as many other loved ones of mine and of my close friends, nor am I defending criminals or devil-incarnates but simply WE DO NOT KNOW what, who and how to judge properly).
