posted a message on Help with a High End Laptop
I asked before that I am looking for a high end laptop. and I know to some of you that sounds oxymoronic. I really need a laptop for its mobility as I travel a lot and need my computer as much as possibly as well as, even when I am working (or playing) I would prefer to do so in the comfort of my bed or even couch or whatever, even if I am at a desk I am not stranded by the four-legged, stationary prison.

Besides for D3, in which I am waiting for the syst reqs release info more than the game just so I can figure out what computer to get, I use heavy graphics programs such as the Adobe set (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) Final cut, and others but mainly autodesk Maya, the new system requirements are in the link

    http://usa.autodesk.com/maya/system-requirements/

If you guys can recommend a few different models, of varied price ranges that would great! I would prefer apprx $500 but I know it can get to 1500 and that's not even touching the limit you can go with modern computers.

So any model laptop would be fine, and which CpunGpu and video cards are recommended as well. The current one is a bit broken and want a replacement as soon as I can.

    Thanks a lot guys!

posted a message on August, nothing to celebrate?
I wasn't really correlating any connection between Bash's birthday and the release date, but Bash being on the 'inside' would have more of a semblance of when it would release, more than we would anyway. And though Beta has no real connection with the birthday, his quote leads us to believe that he has some clue to the beta release and its nowhere near his birthday date.

Who's saying that we're gonna even get a Beta pass :P but if I do, I would probably do a mix of option 2 and 3, play a varied game of all the classes, possibly half or so of the content, this way I can properly TEST (the point of the Beta) all the classes and how they play and interact with the environment, also because I just love skills/spells and want to try them all out. After playing briefly of each character I'll focus on one.

My birthday is Oct, asking for a release as a present too much? and Wingless, they said the press conference is going to be then, not necessarily Beta release, I don't mean to be a party pooper but I think I read a blue post stating that it's not a guarantee that Beta will be announced then (forgot who and what was said but I think it was along the lines of something as big as Beta not being announced by the conference, I hope not though). Also I doubt the Beta will last 6 months, the game is not SC where PvP balance is a must, hopefully a 3 month public Beta testing would be adequate.

and no, we'll have a total of 20 skills but only 7 will be usable at one time.

Um, can you explain this? I admit I only played D2 briefly and when I was younger, but I thought you can only pick 7 skills out of the 21 permanently and if you wanted to switch you would need to reroll or respec, you can switch which skills you want during the game whenever? sorry, someone please explain how the choosing skills work out.

You will have a total of 20 or 21 (IDK) skills available to you after spending points but because the UI will only have 7 boxes for skills you will still have access to your other 20/21 skills but you can only use 7 of them actively at a time.

is switching skills considered using one of the limited 'respecs'? sorry for showing my ignorance but that would be great, I wouldn't be 'locked' into ONLY 7 skills throughout the game?

!! Oh man! How perfect is that?

Yeah I plan to party it up for the big 3-0. It has nothing to do with anything Diablo. Probably. :(

He mentions this when someone asks if anything will be released for his birthday (in August) and Bash says that he has his birthday the same day and nothing celebrated will be Diablo-related. Am I looking too much into this or he is implying something here?

PS still a bit of a novice here, so can someone please help me link the Blizz post?

posted a message on Inner Sanctuary in PvP
Unless I didn't see correctly but it looked like, from the video that the Monk just placed a glyph on the ground then moved a bit, away from the placed glyph.

posted a message on Inner Sanctuary in PvP
Looking at the Monk video Xtapolapacetl posted and the skill Inner Sanctuary prevents enemies from walking past, would this be cheap in PvP where you can just place this over the health globe spawn point so the other team wouldn't be able to walk up to it to get the globe?

posted a message on Difference between Haunt and Plague of Locusts?
Looking through the skills and Haunt and Plague of Locusts seem to have the same mechanic, damaging x amount to monster and if they die from it, jumps to another. Only difference I see is that one is arcane and one is poison damage. Anyone have any comments about which might be more useful or if there is any other difference or point to taking one over the other? I guess to see what other skills you pick so you don't overpick in one specific elemental damage..

I guess I'll also need to see if the runes make any drastic change that might sway my lean to any one over the over.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

So take that as you wish, but it would lead me to believe that if you have only high end cooldowns, it might suck when you have nothing to cast :(

Right, so for example, the three final skills of the barbarian tree all currently have 2 minute cooldowns. There are ways to augment those cooldowns slightly of course, but you're still going to want a mix of skills that complement each other.

Even for High-end skills don't you think two solid minutes is a bit long? with such a high cooldown it might not be used at all, always thinking that the cooldown is too high that if you use it RIGHT NOW you might need it right after. I remember long cooldown stuff in WoW such as trinkets and similar cooldown length things were often times passed up because they weren't used that often.

    wich one are you?
HA, to be honest I started the band with my father, Eddy (guitarist, left side on the facebook page picture, looking down at the guitar while playing), I just didn't have time for it with school and work and all that stuff, sorry for not saying from the beginning, just thought it would drag out a story

    Quote from Periculum

Not exactly the kind of music i like, but it's not too bad, i can listen to it without being annoyed by it and that's a good sign for me :)
On a sidenote, remove that dot at the end of the facebooklink to make it work :)

    Thanks  didn't realize it.

    Quote from Siaynoq

Are you open to feedback? Or are we really just supposed to help spread the word for you?

Sure, I may not actually play anymore (though I might take over if the bassist can't make it or might join in during rehearsals, but I do manage the stuff like the sites and help em out and contribute to the songwriting, no ones perfect and every feedback only improves what we do, especially to satisfy our fans.

Thanks for any response no matter what it be! thanks guys!
