We're waiting for our boxed Diablo 3 to arrive tomorrow, while all our friends are playing club.

Who else is in the same situation =(

Why couldn't you let it come a day earlier Amazon! =(
You should be glad it is coming tomorrow. I live in hawaii and my CE from Amazon is not coming until Thursday, even with the fastest shipping i could choose.

Well i dont really know you Umpa, and im not that much into art, especially since i cant draw or paint. But i read the whole thing and i completely agree with you, i hardly ever find anything i perceive as "modern art" that i enjoy, it often seems to me like they are simply trying to push some boundaries simply for the sake of doing so, as you stated. I really liked your artwork, especially the first two, amazing!

Thats what the man told me but i would call for your own reassurance. i wouldn't want to out anybody's hard earn green. but im planning on doing that with a few friends if best buy doesn't have a midnight release
Cool thanks, ill do that aswell then. Worse case scenario is that i cant get my money back and ill play the regular version and sell the unwrapped CE for uber profit! (sarcasm... since i doubt they would really be worth too much until maybe years down the road.... and anyway im too much of a diablo fan to do that). More likely i will play regular version while staring at my unwrapped Collectors sitting next to my comp and see how long i can last before ripping it open like a kid on christmas.

I talked to Blizz costumer support and they are more than happy to refund me and recommended that I purchase it a week before release so the refund is easy with no "pending" problems
To be clear.... your saying that since i ordered my CE online, blizzard is fine with me buying the digital version from them so i can play right away. Then return my digital CD key to them for a refund once i get my CE.

I live in Hawaii and have ordered the CE from amazon, since i waited until a few days too late to get it from Game Stop. I signed up for amazon prime trial, so the best free shipping i could get was standard: 3-7 days. I cant choose release day delivery because i live in Hawaii, and im assuming this is because they know they couldnt get it to me the same day they shipped it out, and would have to refund my shipping payment. But i would be happy to pay the $.99 for them to ship it out as soon as they could. Maybe i can convince them lol. Otherwise im gonna have to preorder a regular copy from B.net or Game Stop so that i dont run the risk of going through the whole weekend without diablo...

Basically, I'm suggesting that our account is our caravan, which would make sense if the shared stash is available to all the characters on a single account because all those characters are part of the same caravan, and if that is the reasoning, then why wouldn't all the artisans who have chosen to join the caravan not also be available to all the characters in that caravan(account)?

having a personal stash and an account stash was to address horrible mechanic of transferring and muling and solely instituted for our benefit and to fix a bad game mechanic whereas i feel that the artisans are a quest based mechanic of the game. whereas you dont' get access to them until you complete a quest and they are kind of a perpetual side quest throughout the game. Compounded by the notion that diablo is a non-persistent world and when you start a new hero its kind of back to square one of the, i.e. lets say you had to rescue the blacksmith to gain his help, that hero shouldn't have access to that artisan any sooner and when he does the artisan shouldn't already be better than he normally would be. Don't get me wrong, it definitely would be very convenient and if they do make it like that i won't complain; however, to me it just doesn't seem coherent to the story given that they are quest based.

Also on another note, because the artisan are quest based, when you start nightmare/hell will you temporarily lose access to your artisans until you unlock them again?
I really doubt you will lose access to them, with everything they are doing to make this game better, i think they will just choose to have different quests replace the artisan quests at high difficulties. They seem to be focusing alot on replability and random quests, so in nightmare and hell where you had the artisan quest in normal, you would instead get a random quest, or possibly a fixed quest, but you get the idea. This makes a lot more sense to me than them making you lost access to your artisan. I feel like they are focusing a lot more on having the different difficulties be unique, instead of just increasing the damage and life of enemies and calling it new, which is not very exciting.

Just so your aware of it, since you said you hate typos and not sure if this one was an accident or not. Collage is A collage (From the French: coller, to glue) is a work of formal art, primarily in the visual arts, made from an assemblage of different forms. The word you wanted is spelled College.

    While im at it.

-I dont hate typos, but i really hate when people type in a condensed form. I tell people that if they are gonna talk to me show me the respect of typing full words, otherwise i wont reply.
-You should come visit me in Hawaii when D3 comes out so we can kickass together, i think it would be fun to play in the same room even when its online.
-Music: Rage Against the Machine, Linkin Park (Papercut is my favorite), Disturbed, Some of Inflames, (I find i usually like about 20% of a heavy metal bands songs (the ones without too much screaming), Ozzy Osbourne, Eminem (more when i was in high school), I also like Rhianna, some Eevanescence.

-I love rootbeer, a perfect world for me would have to include a place where you could get kebabs and rootbeer.

I believe that is how it works yes... Which would mean that they have to lower the rate at which health globes drop inverse to how big your group was to keep there from being too many health globes.

Yea the only downside i can think of as far as only being able to see your own drops goes, is that your friends or party members will keep having to ask each other if they want items they got but dont need.

Im not positive, but im pretty sure they said that everyone will only see their own artisans in multiplayer games. The only downside i cant think of is that you wont get to see what your friends artisans look like. However this will simply drive you to upgrade yours faster so you can see the improvement yourself.
