I've got my copy on pre-order too. Also in the middle of the 3rd Sin War's book atm with the Archive en route currently too! Had a little trouble getting Moon of the Spider though. When I'm half way through the archive i'll try order again. I think I'm a little too excited for this release!

He said something along the lines of wether it sells for $50 or $100 we will still take the same nominal fee... or something like that. Watch it and correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes and no. Because people know it's the CE dye, thus making it non-hardcore.
So people would still farm for the others, if they have any interest in dyes to begin with.

This can't be anywhere near the whole list? Can it? From my imagination the CE dyes sound much more aesthetically appealing.
Totally speculating here but its pretty easy to change proxy settings to trick yourself into appearing in another country (at least it was/is with BF3, which has been release in the US but not in AUS yet and a few of my friends have unlocked it and are playing currently is AUS. I personally haven't so can't comment any further), with that being said, and assuming we can pre-download, I would speculate that it will be a global midnight release Irvine, CA time. I might be totally wrong.... but hey
It would be pretty awesome if it was unlimited, but I don't think it will be. If it really is the most bad arse vanity dye in the game then it would take away the need for the hardcores (who buy the CE) to farm for end game dyes.
Daemaro I think it would be awesome if you guys listed some runners up for the weekly comps. I personally would love to see the top 10, or so, of what people have been creating in a curated format! Particularly when it comes to the written entries you eluded to above.

Yeah I've seen that. Water level might be a bit of jump, it says 'breathmeter'... I think its more likely to relate to a poisoness gas. I think a swimming level is highly unlikely.
The first time I saw this I got very excited, however the more I think about it the less likely it seems it will appear in the release at all and it has been scrapped. I just can't think of a useful application for it... unless there is a boss you have to starve of breathe maybe?? I just don't know...
I think it will be there at release, and I think its a good thing. Now that we can join a public game based on a specific quest it's no big deal finding the right game. Honestly if someone kicks me because I've got pink pants on I don't want to play with that child.
Considering the tone of the message... "play nicer next time" do you feel that to kick someone you essentially have to report them? Meaning its not something you can spam...

On their first episode they said "this is the Diablo 3 beta and it has just started" but I don't believe them... they are a playful duo who aren't renowned for their truths, in fact their know for quite the opposite.
When the closed beta starts we will know! It will be everywhere...
I own FRAPS, Dxtory and Camtasia... and they all have different purposes! And I use all of them almost every day.
I also use 3D modeling software and prepare video tutorials of them, I do this with Camtasia. It allows you to record your entire screen and anything displayed.
FRAPS or DxTory record through openGL displays like a game or a viewport.... and viewport only (so no UI) - unless you do the vista trick, and I haven't so I can't comment on that.
If your only planning on doing this once and you have no real interest in doing it again then get FRAPS... its by far the easiest to use, and you can record your D3 gameplay too! Its the norm, not the best but its very good. If your going to be doing a lot of recording and you want the best - but with more work and self education then get DxTory.
If you will be recording a few of these for your dad then get camtasia... it is simply the easiest to use for what your doing.
And if your dead broke and looking for a free option to get HD video, and you have a good upload speed, then get yourself Xsplit Broadcaster - and stream it... then download the stream when your done.... won't cost you a penny. If you have no experience editing this is also a good way to add a logo to the video without having to do it in post.
Unfortunately, or not, I know too much about this so please ask any questions you want... more than happy to respond.
On a final note if you do use FRAPS without the vista trick, force your viewport to be 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080 and FRAPS doesnt allow you to control the specific aspect ratio, and you want it to display correctly on a HDTV.
I'm still not sold on the idea of the RMAH... I think I will resist it for as long as possible then spend an entire paycheck on gear... and maybe every paycheck after that. I will certainly be trying to sell anything valuable from day 1 however.
I agree with AcidReign, as it stands $175 is reasonable but it something special and new had better peak its head this year if they are going to keep upping the price annually.
Either way flights from Australia make this a tad of an expensive journey so I'll be streaming online.
