posted a message on Diablo III Beta System Requirements
Thanks for post and continued posts Verity!

Like a lot of people out there I don't currently meet the minimum requirements for Diablo III.
Mainly because of only have 8gs free on my Uni Laptop which only plays SCII smoothly on low settings.
Also in between purchasing a new audio recording PC.

Was wondering what hardware I should be after for a middle - high end machine.
Also if you know of any decent "build-a-computer" websites!

    Thanks for responses and time!

Guys in general I love listening to the podcast, but can we please get some subjective opinion on some of the big issues you mentioned in your latest podcast.
To me your views whenever pro Diablo 3 are well articulated, but whenever they are negative anything all we get is "Oh well I guess they did x to stop y, but I really don't mind etc etc"
In the interest of a fair and balanced podcast why not invite someone in who can actually articulate how they feel as someone who is not happy with the changes rather than you guys just attempting to verbalize the negative reactions yourselves.
It doesn't help when all three of you are pro RMAH and Online only and then proceed with the "Well I guess some people don't like x, but..."
I strongly get the feeling that Blizzard is tainting your opinion via inviting you to press events and giving you exclusive access. Hey the best way to stay in the ship is not rock the boat right?
I expect the big gaming news sites to recite all the drivel they are spoon fed by devs/publishers because their paychecks are linked to their relationship with them, but this is a fan podcast and arguably (due to its popularity) it has transcended the opinion of yourself and Sixen and should be really making more of an effort to play devils advocate.

They are against the non-competitive nature of PVP and have urge people on a number of occasions to tell Blizzard this. I don't think that they are influenced by Blizzard as much as you may think. (Only to the point that they just want the game in their hands ASAP) But then again I pretty much always agree with what they are saying! The more guests and opinions the better though!

Yeah default sounds the best to me.

    - See what drops when it drops (Small battles means not having to press anything at all)
    - And being able to view it again after the fight (If the battle lasts longer than 10sec after 1st drop)

Only thing I see the toggle function having on top of this is the loot being distracting during epic battles, so I may change to this if I find that it takes me away from the fight.

But again I want to see those oranges drop!

Wow that's hectic, I personally believe it should really be up to the Copyright owner to choose whether to prosecute or not... and the <$150 000 infringement fine seems like a pretty decent deterrent, but does this money go to the copyright owner? If not maybe that's why there hasn't been much action against these "stream" sites. Perhaps educating people about what copyright is, etc. would go a lot further than this clearly unfair Bill.

Lets hope Australia doesn't follow suite!

Thanks for the replies and feedback guys, some good points there. I think I have forgotten how difficult Hell mode was!
I'm sure Blizzard has something kick-ass in store and to be honest I probably wouldn't care if endgame turns into a farm! I just want this damn game! :)

Personally I really, really don't feel like doing never-ending Baal Runs in Diablo III.
I suggest that after completion of Hell difficulty, all acts of that difficulty are then attuned for level 60.

Say if my friends and I really enjoyed the feel of Act II, we could return to that act and be challenged once again. All monsters and bosses would have similar if not the same drop percentages as Act IV monsters and bosses. Perhaps they could also spread particular recipes to particular places to get people revisiting old content.

This method of end game would mean that the player or players could choose their favorite sections of the game and not be compromised by lack of challenge and reward and that any DLC zones and content expands the players choice and overall gear.

-> I know Blizzard already has something in place for end game, just seeing what you guys think and any other suggestions you can come up with!

posted a message on Blizzard Press Event Questions
    Quote from DizDK

I have some questions regarding the loot system.

In diablo I and II the items droped "randomly" on the ground and an "epic" rush across the player was seen as everyone tried to get the cool stuff. Although this for some was fun (and is a part of the core diablo gameplay) it also could be frustrating and unfair. Some years ago u talked about a new system kinda like in WOW. Basically you talked about making the looting more fair and eaven for alle the players.
What is the status of this system?
How is the looting working in the beta?
How do u assure that a new system dosent change the core gameplay in a undesirable way?

    /DizDK

Ps. Good luck. Wish I got to be so lucky

Pretty sure they have made it that loot drops separately for each player. For example say we downed Diablo together, I get 2 magical weapons that drop on my screen and you get a legendary head piece on yours. This is how it worked last time I heard.

Edit-> Oh and they have removed BOP / BOE (Bind on pickup / equip) so that if that head piece was what I needed you could trade it with me no sweat =]
