posted a message on My opinions on D3
    1. Gameplay options, although it seems as if you have a seemingly endless amount of game play to go through, in reality it feels, well repetitive is not the right word, but overall boring and lackluster. In D2 there was specific tasks, for instance, you could key run, you could say rune hunt (countess runs), charm hunt (chaos runs), key hunt (count, summ, nith), uber runs, ect... These "specialized?" runs made the game better, in my opinion.

    2. Melee characters, having a lvl 60 Wizard, Monk, and Daemon Hunter, I can say that inferno game play really sucks as a melee character, this is just how it is for now, hopefully this changes in the future, as I enjoyed game play on my monk far more than the ranged classes.

    3. PvP, it needs to hurry up, and at this point, I believe the long term survival of the game depends on it.

    4. Items, the random stats do not seem so random (the amount of items that have intelligence and strength compared to dexterity), and the unevenness of the of stats. (say 200 strength item with 100 vita is common, but a 100 dexterity with 100 vita item is rare). Legendaries, I think it was cool to have "identifiable items" to compare to other people.

5 Cooperative gameplay is broken in my opinion. In interno it is far easier to solo than it is to do in a 4 man group, it shouldn't be this way.

    6. Chat rooms, we need them back, period.

    7. What happened to the "everything is viable" philosophy, the more classes you play, the more you realize this is obviously not the case when it comes to inferno gameplay. (and even hell). Can I dual wield DPS on my monk in inferno? Heck no.

I was a die hard fan of WoW and D2, they kept me hooked, for what ever reason, D3 does not, and although I anticipated this game forever, I cannot see myself playing it to the extent that I played D2 and WoW, I will more than likely quit before August, where as I played WoW for 3 years and D2 for the past 8. I am not finished with this post, I just wanted to put a few of my problems up for discussion.

They probably want to focous their attention to the actual release BUILD and the release SERVER, from what I understand, the beta client and the beta servers are still very different in code.

I have found that for ME atleast, HIIT sessions help me achieve my goals with my limited amount of time, and I enjoy it more.
Other bigger guys - that are actually in shape - may want to look into HIIT as well. That is just a starting point guide, you will quickly learn what you can and cannot handle.

Seriously show me when you do. I've been irritable for weeks now over trying to find the best 27 inch for my money.

Right now, I am a 100% Asus fanboy in the monitor section, but I also have seen some AWESOME deals on the BenQ 27in monitors.

Do people not realize the obvious compromises??? Both parties are arguing over completely different things, but if you look you can see that we can obviously make both parties happy.

    posted a message on PvP'ers vs PvM'ers
This thread will be updated, just post and I will add VALID arguments to the tables, yes this is biased, yes this is the PvP discussion. This will be used to strengthen the PvP argument.

    Plaintiff - PvP'ers
    Demands

Customizable Arena options for private matches - Game types (FFA, Teams, 2 v 3, ect) - Changing the time limit - custom respawn times (instant, XX seconds, none) - other options I can't think of right now.

World PvP option (D2 Style) - Allow world PvP as a game option during creation.

Group/Party vs Group/Party - Able to selectively choose if you want to take XXX to the arena/dual/game.

Statistics (toggleable or personal only) - Kills, deaths, highest burst damage, most players killed in a life, ect.

Guild/Clan Flags - Ability to show your guild/clan name on your flag.

    Wishful thinking:

Wagers - A safe way to bet on duels (it is going to happen either way right? Cough Cough RMAH logic).

    Defendant - PvM'ers
    Defense

Balance - Not many are expecting this, actually nobody is except the PvMers useing it as a counter aurgument. - And no you don't need to be inside of an arena for skills to be balanced, even in D2 they had ways of balancing skills on players.

    Ladders - PvM'ers do not want ranks/ladders.

    Esport - PvM'ers don't want an "esport".

Elitism - Don't want to deal with elitism.

My friend has a vacation (more like mandatory fun) that his mom insistes he do. The problem is, it is planned during the release of D3, but Corry(Affe)'s true intentions are to play D3 at launch. This petition is to help convice his mother that he is needed in battleing the evil!

Your friend is likely overweight and his mom is just trying to get him outside more. I'm with mom. Does she have a petition of her own?

No, my friend is actually over the age of 18, doesn't actually live with his mom, but his mom scheduled a vacation on the same week as his birthday, which happens to be the same week d3 comes out.

[...] Right now, IMO, as it is right now - outside of the PvM game play (which is great, don't get me wrong I like PvM too, and have a legit 99 on d2) - the game is a little lacking. No private channels? No guilds/clans? No game lists?

I'm curious, what would guilds/clans accomplish that a friends list can't in this game? Just wondering.

    1. Being able to meat new friends - joining a guild will allow you to meet say more people, and people that are higher lvl than you that you wouldn't necessarily be able to interact with if you just joined public games. Do you want that super cool armor that you can't create because you are too low lvl, and because your friends are low lvl as well, well in a guild say a lvl 60 may have the recipe and make it for you.
    2. Representation, the whole social aspect of being on a clan/guild is very appealing to many people who emmerce themselves in a game.
    3. Chat - a guild chat, or private channels accessible in game would be very convenient.

I did not mean to offend anyone, and by "joining random games and killing everyone" I meant public duel games, not necessarily "NKing" and "BMing" everyone, but more like 1v7, as that option was always fun and gave a rush.
So I guess what I am saying here is FFA is definitely needed.

The "Arena", well I guess the easier way for blizzard to allow stuff like iron mans ect would be to allow world PVP in a private/public game ("d2 style"), as I doubt we will get options for for arena matches like: game time, FFA? and access to content.

I am not only arguing in behalf of the PvPers, but also, the MANY players that will be coming from different games to play this game, like SC2, WoW, GW, ect, players from pretty much every game will be picking up this game. We need to keep in mind, this game shouldn't be tailor made for a relatively small population on hardcore D2 players (PvPers and PvMers alike). This game should be able to cater for a much broader audience, of millions from numerous games, that have many different tastes.
