    really good info. thanks.

if it's not too much more to ask of you I would like some suggestions on a speed/crit build. I bought a bunch of attack speed/crit/loh gear; andariels helm, lacuni bracers, innas pants, bo jangle boots, tal rashas chest, dagger with loh and I plan for an ouroboros ammy and some loh/speed rings/crit if can afford.

the dex, vit, and res are all much lowered on my monk but the speed gives good damage and loh helps with the lack of res and vit. obviously more kiting involved but faster and more dmg. so, if i just max my belt, shoulders, and shield with dex, vit, and res / owe i think it would be easier to survive. viable? i think ill have to go that route to make up for the losses in dex, vit, res
    .
any way.. is this something you have any pointers on? ive already spent the money so id like to make it work at its best. or should i dump this build and renew? it really is nice being fast as hell again post patch...

what skills would you use for this gear? Im rolling cyclone, blazing wrath, faith in the light, ascencion, thunderclap, and hard target.

I made the mistake early on thinking life steal would work wonders... Such a waste of money. Go loh. it is well worth the change.

now i have a question though: ive heard 900 loh is good to have. is any more just unnecessary? im sure the more the merrier, but dueling two daggers focused with crit damage is a lot cheaper than having crit dmg AND loh. Id like to know because if you can supply the loh through 2 rings and an ammy and play comfortably, which would come out to about 900-little over 1k loh, than that would save a lot of money and help with finding higher dps weaps since wont have multiple stats to look for.

posted a message on Monk- Attack Speed Question
Hi, I've recently been bidding and buying ias and crit gear regardless of the new patch and I'm wondering if any one has experience with this. ive got andariel's helm, lacuni bracers, boj angler boots, innas pants, tal rasha's chest and am waiting/ saving for highest ias rings, ammy, and possibly duel wielding 11% daggers with loh and/ or crit dmg in mind. I'm wondering if this will be viable for act 3 and 4. Would that much speed with loh offset the need for res and vit? let me know if any other monks are or have experimented with this post patch and please give feed back on experience, thanks.

this is my guess: just as whirl wind was the ultimate for a barb of lvl 30 in d2. It will also remain a powerful spell in d3, but something like earthquake, call of the ancients, or wrath will be a super ultimate. it doesn't take anything away from the game by having a 2min cool down. it adds much more. it makes that skill priceless in a way. somethign to be earned.

is it a 2 minute cool down for all classes? because if a monk should have a combination that builds up to an ultimate skill they wouldn't have cool downs right? or no? if that is the case are they op compared to other classes in this regard?
