posted a message on Diablo 2 + Expansion Question
Cool thx for the info guys. Just a heads up though, I have been playing D2 for over 6 years so I'm not new to the game in any means. I have just never played the game without LOD - So yeah, that's why I am not sure how things will go if I decide to install it. =)

posted a message on Diablo 2 + Expansion Question
Hey guys, my friend and I are playing Diablo 2 atm. We both have characters now in Act 2. The thing I am wondering is that, my friend doesn't have the expansion set. So, is it possible for us to both start playing the expansion and keep our current Diablo 2 characters?

    Please and Thank you! =)

posted a message on Question about moon physics
I'm pretty sure the physics of death animations in game is different for the variations of monsters. You will find that specific mobs such as bosses ascertain to their own death animation that is distinguished from average mobs, this also will apply for champions, elites, so forth. Take for example The Skeleton King, there are no moon physics applied in his case. =)

Sticking to true Blizzard form, claiming the announcement will be ready "Early this week" apparently means Wednesday or when the week is more than half over.

Lol... I would like to know what Blizzards definition of "soon" or "early" is? Because every time they say something is going to be soon or early really means somewhere towards the end of that time period stated. Looks like early 2012 for a Diablo release, would really be December 2012 =(.

I loved wow, not going to lie, but after 6 years finally called it quits. Personally I didn't like the need to rely on 9-24 other people to have any fun, and when i reflected on how many hours i spent just standing in a major city, my brain exploded.

SWTOR only brings a couple new things to the mmo table, most notably the deeper storyline. the interaction is actually quite fun. It has a polished UI compared to other mmo's, and a couple new(er) features like aoe loot and whatnot. But when you boil it down, it's just another mmo. And personally I'm tired of them; Played everything from WoW to warhammer, aion, rift, and for myself the fundamental flaw with a mmo atmosphere is that you HAVE to play with everyone else to get anywhere.

Thus the reason I <3 D3, because popping on for 15 minutes means I can actually do something =P<br/>
All in all, swtor is fun (the cinematics are badass, I've watched em a couple times each now lol) but if you have gotten tired of MMO's this one is really no different. I feel bad because my buddies and I quit wow, but now they want to play this and I have to tell them I don't feel like having a second job where I'm required to play at a certain time, for a certain time.

Off topic: *crosses fingers for whatever the hell Titan is going to turn out to be*

Obviously you have not heard of Guild Wars 2, a game that doesn't copy off of any MMO to this date, that will be unbelievably refreshing, and doesn't require one group to get to max level and acquire end-game gear =). It doesn't have a boring quest system, but a persistent and dynamic world that reacts to your character on a personal level, where you run into events that can be accomplished alone. But one major innovation of Guild Wars 2 on top off all these others I have just mentions, is the fact that you can interact with other players during these events and out in the world without them stealing you mobs or loot, everyone helps each other out and acquires equal rewards if both contribute equally. Did I mention its an action MMO as well, meaning no static 1,2,3... button mashing and staring at a bar timer.

Don't worry, I don't work for Arenanet, I'm just passionate about this game, because no one will be able to come up with any valid point that prove that this game won't be the best MMO ever to exist. =)

You're right I haven't heard much on it, and it sounds like it could be a cool twist on the regular MMO. BUT, you are referring to an AMMO ( or mmoa, w/e), whereas I was talking about the traditional MMORPG. I'll have to check that out tho, sounds fun.

Yeah Guild Wars 2 is kinda in a league of its own. If you want a game similar to a traditional mmorpg in content (ie. Raids, farming, quests) but with an Action combat system... that would be TERA the p2p MMOARPG. But i'm done with p2p... that's something I forgot to mention, GW2 is buy to play, meaning you buy once and you play free forever, however it does have an online shop, though it is whats called an ethical online shop being that only cosmetic things, extra character slots and maybe server change is whats sold. It doesn't sell anything that can give advantages to any player. =)

Bashiok did state that D3 release announcment will not be waiting for any special event, it will just be announced when they're sure about it. My guess for release date would be February at earliest.

posted a message on Development and Delays
I'm sorry OP, but you clearly don't understand one vital and significant reason for all the complaining all the time. The reason is that Blizzard is always misleading us. Everything they have said about the games development has been wrong on almost all occasions. They never give us a clear answer. If they don't know something, why do they always pretend they do and end up being wrong, they should just stfu and give us an clear and concise answer to the development process when they are 100% sure themselves instead of lying to us all the freaking time! This is what makes this long wait soo much more unbearable.

I personally hope that the WD is played the least... So that when I play it as my first and by far favourite class, I'll be more unique than all the cliche barbs running around. =)

How can you not know who it is lol. Its Girr from Invader Zim, like the most badass cartoon out there. Hehe... But I wouldn't know what your avatar is from either, but it looks cool - 8/10
