posted a message on Can someone explain to me why is my DPS is so low?

If you haven't gifted your weapon yet, you should reroll the socket into 10% damage and then gift the socket back onto it.

Even though it's already been made clear, the reason why CC on amulet is so important is because it's over-allocated compared to elemental damage. Directly compare it to bracers, which can roll 20% elemental and 6% CC, whereas amulet can roll 20% elemental (the same), but CC goes up to 10%

Wizard, with Tal Rasha+Wand of Woh.

I'm sure WoL SW monk can keep up with flash fire wizard, especially with that big buff in 2.4.1

How would that work? You would have to give up Tzo Krin's Gaze to be able to wear the Sage's set... which weakens the build significantly, doesn't it? I also haven't kept track of the monk changes in 2.4.1 to be honest. But I think the Tal wizard is the only fast TX build that can be combined with Sage's set without sacrificing anything of significance.

Sets are so powerful in 2.4.1 that you can play without a perfect dps combination to farm T10.
And I think Monk with In-Geom is almost unbeatable in terms of movementspeed

In-Geom is horrible. It's always nice on paper and when it works, but when you get the gaps of elites or long walk rifts it's complete garbage. It also causes stressful gameplay for me personally because I always feel like I'm being rushed (like Taeguk) and you don't really have time to stop and pick up the yellows/blues for mats (which you WILL need sooner or later).

Then again I may just be spoiled by Aethar Walker, but I'd always prefer consistent builds with boon, warzechian, etc as opposed to In-Geom

The only way the right one gets better is if you reroll the chd to 100%.

However overall the left one is the best of 2 evils.

Remember element and skill% are additive with in the same pool. Quin69 did a video of this explaining the more you have the less effective it becomes. Unless you gain 100 - 200% of that skill.

Also how much relative chc and chd do you have? 1:10 ratio bruh. 1 chc to 10 chd.

Thanks! I didn't even think about keeping the int and just upping the chd. I was aware of the additive bonus within each multiplicative section and since I already have +fire I wasn't so sure the one on the right would have been better.

try d3planner.com with both items and you will get an exact result.

I knew there were sites for that but couldn't remember which one was the best one to use. Thanks

Just for a random 6tal/4fb build that already has sources of fire damage. What's better?

    22 crit dmg + 737 int

    -vs-

    20% fire damage

JUST TO CLARIFY, ASSUMING THE ONE ON THE RIGHT IS REROLLING THE INT INTO 10% CRIT CHANCE

Well delsere will be the worst set for wizard ao you wont need to qorry about it

We will be running archin with firebirds set so if you like that gameplay style , e are in a good poaition.

I will be gearing a wd aswell, farming t10 with chicken build is reqlly fun ^^

This makes me kind of mad. Wizard is my favorite class in the game and I've already played it for at least 2 seasons so far, and when they actually make it super strong and fun I'm over it :\ I hated DMO in s5. What terrible gameplay it had. I'm specifically making a non-Wizard in s6 just for variety.

I came in here just to say that the season journey is one of the best additions to the game. It is a clear, achieveable, and challenging goal for players with a nice reward. Your topic title isn't really about that though :(

Good input here! So do barbs actually have other decently top-tier builds other than charge? (it seems like 4/6 and 6/4 still just both use charge), but I've not heard about the other builds besides frenzy for s6 yet

I'm not particularly asking which class is best in s6, but I'd like to know how the playstyles of all the top tier builds play per class.

More specifically, which (if any) competitive builds:

    1) don't require you to stare at your buff bar

    2) use LoN

Additionally, are there any s6 classes that have multiple competitive builds? And by multiple, I don't mean ring selection or unity vs not unity, I mean actual different builds. A good example of NOT this is s5 wizard where you can only be 6 piece DMO.

posted a message on Tip for Shadow's Mantle set dungeon

Did this today so finish my season journey and accidentally found a pretty good tip that I didn't see in any of the youtube video guides I watched. Cube the handbow that marks enemies you hit for death and then you can see which enemies survived your Impale so you don't hit them again. The shield guards will usually survive because of their block ability.

    Two more tips:

-Chemical Burn rune will let your single impale finish off those shield guards

-Avoid using proc effects on gear that deals damage like sash of knives. It will kill enemies too easily for you to land impales

bullshit. D2 had better and worse items for each slot for each build. There was no variety. The only reason why you think that is because the difficulty was a joke. It simply didn't matter.

Remove GRifts from D3 and you have so much more item choice than D2 ever had.

Same with skill trees. There was no variety. There were better and worse builds. But because of the joke difficulty: It didn't matter. You could clear hell without putting one single skillpoint anywhere. Such a good game!

It was a good game for its time, but the game is a joke by today's standards.

The stat points and skill points were useless, but the itemization was great. You could go for pure damage (like a 5% increase) at the expense of tons of utility (Magic Find), or defend (resists), or go for a general spread. You could also choose between +skills for a little more damage but more power to your utility spells, or elemental damage for pure damage only.
Also, the game was incredibly difficult. Hell was challenging, but not impossible, you just had to take your time. Yes, in perfect gear it was trivialized, but that's how it's supposed to work (look at WoW).

posted a message on How we could put a Stop to Botters from Gaining the Advantage on Legit players
    Quote from intenzity»

Very simple 3 digit captcha on opening a rift would end d3 botting overnight.

Never heard a counter argument to implementing this, only ever passive aggressive whining from leaderboard botters. I don't have anything against paragon grinding, d3 is about grinding. The problem is the botting not the system itself. Breaking the paragon system won't stop people from botting keys etc.

Only issue is that a LOT of streamers would quit if this came into place, and blizzard don't want that.

There would just be bots that open a game, bot the outer world, then remake the game.

    Time-locked progression.

WoW has plenty of bots, but you don't see them having anything of value.
