Frozen Arcane Damage build

After watching a lot of skill rune videos and of course thinking how I played sorc in Diablo II, I came up with this build, It's definitely going to be the first build I try in D3!

I kinda wonder why the only signature skill for the wizard class that's elemental is an electricity attack. I figure there should be one ice, one arcane, one fire and one electric.

I was aiming for high damage output and damage avoidance through cold effects.

No idea how many players did this in D2, but I ALWAYS had my mouse 1 button just do a melee attack, I don't know why I didn't change it, but I figure the spectral blades is pretty close to a melee attack and I felt like it would be a comfortable fit with my playstyle.

I haven't played the beta yet so I can't say I have any idea what the playstyle would be like, but from what I've read and seen, it seems like this build or something close to it will be a good match for the way I play Diablo games!

I would love to hear anyone's thoughts on the build!

I think the best way to wait for D3 is not to think too much about it. I was obsessing for a while over every little juicy detail, but I think we're at a place where there's not gonna be a whole lot more information before release. Here's to hoping for a first half of 2012 release though!!

I find it intensely irritating that they have to quantify early 2012 as not necessarily being Q1. Calling *any* day before July 2nd "early" is kind of ridiculous. And at this point I wouldn't put it past them to release it late this year or even the beginning of next. This unending "polishing" phase is insane. As an artist, there is a point where you have to stop and call your piece finished, otherwise the production of your work will go on forever.

I'm sure many feel the same way but I felt I needed to voice my opinion.

Not of fan of the trendy moving drawing art at the beginning, also Leah's eyes changed again?? I liked how she looked in the first cinematic trailer.. not so much in this one. I AM DISAPPOINT :[

Yeah NJ here I totally felt it. Thought I was losing my mind for a second because me and my desk started swaying but nothing was rattling. Just as I sent my friend a text saying "I'm either going crazy or there was an earthquake" he sent me one right before I could send it saying "was that an earthquake?" At least I'm not losing my mind (yet)!

Also, I'm all for some end of the world, but I'd really like to play D3 first..

I don't really see why they wouldn't have pistol crossbows and big transforming crossbows when the assassin in D2 was throwing out grenades and traps all over the place.

I thoroughly enjoy your podcasts lol it's like you guys are my friends that I see once a week. Almost every point you guys make is right on the money, but this week I have to say that the definition of endgame that Sixen gave was not really accurate, the endgame is whatever content is at the END OF THE GAME, whether that's just inferno difficulty or extra stuff that they haven't mentioned yet.

Also wanted to say that blizzard has not stated that inferno won't have anything besides just the same 4 acts, there may be additional content thrown in there somewhere, be it a boss only accessible in inferno, extra quests or maybe even a new area or dungeon. They really haven't talked a whole lot about it otherwise so let's hope there will be more!

How interesting that people are so into the pvp, in my Diablo 2 experience I really never got into it, it just seemed pointless to me. Its possible I'll participate in a bit in D3 seeing as it can expand your banner and possibly unlock some achievements.

It seems like pvp battles might take a bit longer than the ones I saw/rarely participated in back in the day. But I wasn't really aware that it was such a big thing in 2 that people are making a ruckus over now.
I think of it more of a supplement to the actual game than something important?

Does the NDA lift at 12:00am on monday morning?

Or are we gonna have to wait 'til sometime after lunch?
