Consider this as well: Blizzard isn't the only company to use encryption. There are many that can hold personal information and earn a huge profit if they went after those and decrypt them instead. Why would so many resources be wasted on something as small as as Diablo 3? I mean, it's a waste with all the other websites out there that can actually get them so much more money.
It's like hiring a bunch of professional burglars to steal a kid's lunch money.
I would agree not to bring back the skills system as it was in Diablo II. I do agree that every skill needs to be useful, and not a means to an end. I did like the idea of synergies, I just found them poorly implemented in DII. But I find that Diablo III is still lacking in the customization aspect that DII did provide (albeit limited) with their skills. Having "power levels" (via some sort of point system or something) that you have to choose would make it better, and having to choose which would be more powerful would make for a more interesting system. The one thing I disliked about the current system was that all skills end up being their most powerful versions. There was no choice in that.
well thats the point, you have a choice of ~124 different skill effects and 18 passives and you can have 6 at max power and 3 passives. wither you achieved this through skill points or not is irrelevent because the outcome is the same. end game is where change matters IMO, not leveling up. because you will level pretty damn fast from 1-60.
Your denying the whole point of Lord_Jaroh, in D2 you could also be a strong character even if you didnt have the correct items for your build, now your power is exclusive through farm (skills runes and items) that means your choices means shit because it doesnt matter what you choose, your farm do the talking in D3 and btw ITS RELEVANT.
I could not stop laughing while reading this post.
You guys are looking way too much into this. I think they still have no clue to when a release date is. I seriously do not think we will get a announcement until late march or late april.
I can guarantee you that as the company they are, they most defiantly have a release date target. How do I know this? Because of all the systems they've put on hold because they 'can't make it in time'. In time for what? Well, release of course! They have a date they are almost completely positive on, and it's soon. This patch, if it does indeed contain the much awaited for skill and rune changes, *should* be the last major patch (minor ones inc ofc). When this patch goes well, they should be solid enough to actually give US a date. It's soon yalls, no need to fret.
It won't be the last major patch before release.
also "Ok, listen, cool things will happen before the weekend, ok? So let's all just like, be cool, and things, and before the weekend. I love you."
awesome, it seems the fallen like to honor their dead, dragging his dead body all the way from the cold plains to tristram (its a far distance, thats why akara had us use the secret portal in stoney field). hopefully they did something with rakinichu (spell?)
Just an easter egg, not some type of insight of what the fallen do to their dead.
And there have been other monsters that were named after monsters in the other games, I'm sure we'll see more.
They recently announced that there won't be a graphic upgrade for release though.
They announced that there's no ultra, we don't have many graphics in the beta like runes, and things that may happen from other spells, or higher difficulties.
dont call me a throll, im just stating what game sites and mags are already saying!!!!
That's nice, evidence?
hahahaha, thats what i love about the internet, people demand you show them EVIDENCE!
well no i will not, go look for youself, go to IGN and look for yourself, dont reply to any of my comments again thankyou
K troll, go disprove to me that DIablo 3 is the greatest game eva and blizzard refuses to release because they are actually attempting to kill gamers with excitement and summon Diablo with their souls.
Oh you can't THAT MUST MEAN IT'S TRUE HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
PS: People tend to demand evidence when you make a claim, it's all part of that whole thing were you know, you can't make shit up.
i posted this podcast in a diff thread yesterday, but at thispoint i dont care
even game magazines dont care anymore, my cousin works for a game magazine in the states, she says that nearly all of the gaming mags and online game mags views D3 becoming a joke
her mag has already made its mind up on D3, when it is finally released she told me that her mag will not give it favourable review cos of the sheer delay on it, infact there will be a article on about taking advantage of coustomers next month
so ye dont care
Rofl, you're a fail troll.
No gaming mag is going to ignore a huge game like Diablo 3 because of delays, your lies are blatantly obvious.
Well i have been searching and cant find either answer (yes or no) to your question. the two above me, please provide a source to your answers.
in diablo 2, the more players that join the game a few things happen.
1, being the monsters do get stronger (more damage, more defense, more health)
2, you and or your party get more experience per each monster slain
3, Loot dropped is better, more rares better stats etc..
now with diablo 3 having a personal loot system i don't imagine the loot will change depending on how many players are in the game at the time the monster is slain. so far what im aware of for the (RNG) of items is that your (characters level, magic find %, and Difficulty level) are all combined to equal your loot dropped..
that is a good question and i would love to see a official source answer to this question. i dont play WoW or Starcraft or else id post on the diablo 3 forums.
Same thing here, I canceled WoW and dont play SC2 so I cant post on the blizzard forums. In Diablo 2 I think as each person joined the game the enemy levels would go up which is where their increased difficulty came from so their loot table would have higher levels. This is what I believe to be how Diablo 2 works, correct me if I am wrong.
Do the levels of the enemy mobs increase as you get more people int he game or is it only stats that increase. It would be much easier programming I would think to just increase the enemy levels but I don't know what they did in their code.
It's as people described it, nothing really gets changed, except for the fact that stuff now dies faster (Because you have more people), and is harder for an individual player to kill by himself.
It's been discussed here ALOT. That's probably why nobody bothered to give a source.
What the fuck do you think they made a RMAH for? Or do some people here actually buy their oh so famous excuse?
Get a grip, they did this to make money and will make a shitload with this. It doesn't matter how much money they make, they obviously want more.
Heck, apparently if they say they're not corrupted... then they are not!
Man, I'll never look at politicians the same way either!
They saw a way to make money and thats the only reason the RMAH exists. I don't care if you're one of those that is for it (or if you're crazy enough to think you can make worthwhile money out of this), but the defense team is laughable. Blizzard fell a lot lower for quite sometimes. Didn't you notice?

Fact is, it isn't. In fact most of the shit that anonymous pulls is just DDOS attacks which are laughably simple.

And then they announce that D3 is scrapped!
