That's called human error, as in problem was between brain and keyboard. Not a problem between the entered value and the value used in game, that's called a bug...
Hard to grasp?
Almost all comptuer bugs are the result of Human error. Why? Because humans are the one that write computer code. Some computer bugs are the result of the compiler which isn't directly related to human error.

Then don't hop onto a forum and complain that a developer hasn't catered to your mental disorders. You want to be placted at every turn? Create your own game and make your own rules. If you can't handle a few lines of text and a simple image being off limits to you then you should probably seek professional health rather then post on a forum for a video game.

So you are equally against the Reveal site sigils? Since those are exclusive to the launch of Diablo 3. You are against the CE? Because that is exclusive stuff just for the CE. Its a sigil and a Feat of Strength. Why do those matter so much?

You say one thing, and then you contradict yourself right after that. If it is not about the Feat of Strength then why are you upset that someone gets a reward? Either you are upset at someone getting a Reward or you are not. You can't have it both ways.
And who cares if you didn't get into the beta. Are you going to whine when someone gets a rare or legendary from their first play through and you didn't? When someone did X before blizzard removed it?

Nothing carried over. What more do you want them to clarify and communicate? You can only say nothing in so many ways. The current FoS is a completly different thing then having achievements and characters carry over from Closed Beta.

Blizzard has two types of rewards like this. Achievements and Feats of Strength. Achievements are things anyone can do. Feats of Stregnth are things that only a limited number can do (like attending blizzcon), things out of the game, or things no longer available. Feats aren't meant to be collected and should never be thought of as such.

Because everyone feels entilted to everything. The same people complaining about not being able to get a Feat of Strength and Sigil will be complaining when they can't do nightmare, hell, or inferno and get the Sigil and Achievements for those things. They will be complaining when Blizzard has other limited-time Rewards and they didn't get it.
Or they will get such things and say how those that are whining because they didn't get it are cry babies. Its a video game, it means nothing in the end. This sigil and FoS won't give you any advantage in the game at all. It is not unfair for Blizzard to reward people that potentially helped them test the game and mold it into what both parties wanted out of a game. Its not unfair that you didn't get the reward because you didn't get picked.
You can't have everything. Just like I won't be able to have that legendary you got to drop on your first playthrough of Normal. If you are crying over a FoS and Sigil then you better get a box of tissues because you'll definitly be crying over the way Loot is random in the actual game.

Just because you do it quickly doesn't mean you aren't enjoying the journey as much as someone that does it slowly. Diablo 3 is as much about store as it is face paced hack and slash gameplay. I can see the story and everything and still rush. Do I get less of the experince because I can absorb it quickly?
Do you get more because you take 3 months to do what I can do in two weeks?

Also the journal entry gives you some lore and story on what happened to Warriv.
If it is to be called anything it is Fluff/Lore. Useless to the main story and mechanics of the game but provides you some info about the "world" of the game.

By the way the link to The Den of the Fallen is a dead link. The proper link is http://www.diablowik...n_of_the_Fallen, the news post has added a The to the link. And just case you are unaware your battle.net ID is missing the 4 digit numerical portion and won't help anyone adding you as a friend/whatever.

Not really. References to past lore isn't an easter egg even by Blizzard standards. And its not the generally held definition of easter eggs in Computer games. http://www.wowpedia.org/Easter_egg are examples of easter eggs blizzard has done in the past.
To reiterate, having the corpse of Warriv isn't an easter egg. Having npc's named after Blizzard works, devs, and GM's/CM's is an easter egg. Having Black Mushrooms around Tristram and related to Adria isn't an easter egg its just Lore. Because you know if they existed in D1 in the area and Adria was interested in them chances are she might still be interested in them.
Continue story and lore to build a more consistent and living world isn't an easter egg. Its just good story telling. Which is shown by the fact Warriv drops a journal that provides in-depth lore. Thats not an easter egg is just lore.
If you consider things like warrivs corpse and Black Mushrooms to be easter eggs then anything that has been referenced or appeared in past games must also be Easter Eggs. Because they have the same qualities of a)Being in a past game/lore and b)Being in D3.

Having a corpse named warriv isn't one. At least not anymore of one then having a town named Tristram is...

There is a reason why WoW stopped doing most "instant kills" in ways like that. And its a lesson I think d3 should employ. Though its hard to judge it completly off of just a statement. But it makes it something to watch and hope its not in the most direct meaning of the statement.

Also if the haunt change is true that is pretty nice. I also hope the beta achievements are merged turned into feats of strength( or not erased) for the live game just so its not a complete waste of time to grind all of them out.
