I have a friend who went to Blizzcon, and the consensus on those who played the Necro seem to think it's close to done.
I definitely agree it's been relatively recently as an actual project.Quote from TheTruthAbounds
With art for armor, items, the class itself, plus animations for each skill, rune, and every legendary/set effect that requires a new asset, sure it can take a lot longer than you think. Some of that stuff can happen simultaneously, but that can also lead to a poor result. From concept to completion on a game like D3, I'd be it takes 3-6 months a dedicated time for a few personnel to finish a class with the polish that Blizzard requires. Take into account that the team is small and thus those guys are spending part of there day doing other stuff, it does not surprise me that the Necro will be released so late. It certainly sucks, but it's not surprising at all.
That said, it really looks like at most, they started a month or 2 ago on it in earnest.
The current time frame we've been given seems fishy. I think the best news from Blizzcon is the implication that we may see more classes in class packs. I honestly can't see a reason why they can't turn D3 into the Arpg version of heroes of the storm. A character every 3 months with a zone or 2 every 6 seems very reasonable. I have no issue with paying for a new way to play the game, and it will give the D3 team a constant revenue stream. It's win-win for everyone except for the rose colored glasses crowd who thinks D2 end game was better than D3.

just because you don't find something right away doesn't mean things are bad or wrong or your unlucky. If you flip a coin 6 times in a row and get heads some people may say that its not 50/50 chance.. which is incorrect. If you collect 10,000 legs and don't find 1 then there might be an issue. Sample size are your friend.

Cheers, it's always good to see the (needy) perspective of millennials, can't wait for you guys to be running the show. My faith in our future has been restored to the levels of Trump in power If you really wanted to admit a true slap in the face how about waiting almost a decade for D3 and being the complete flop it was from vanilla. Get over your self.

My poop was a bit more solid then normal today... so yah I could see how that might lead some to believe it as evidence that something in the future might happen!!

A new franchise or D4. Fixing D3 would be more work than starting fresh.
Only comment I can offer is add PvP with player damage reduction by 95% and add ladders based on specific abilities not classes (would see more variety of builds trying to push their limit).

reminder... please read previous conversations. Lots of people don't have groups of 4 to power clear shit, any points your bring up involving this strategy is pointless. Try to be informed sometimes, don't bring the stupid, thanks.
I've already farmed plenty, the issue is I have to waste months worth of gaming time on a char that I will delete because it takes up a character slot.
I know right, some people's children I tellz yah.

It is my problem and that's what the internetz are for is complaining XD
I've been in a few clans. Some casual ones where a few people create clicks and do nothing else but with their hardcore buddies. I've been in some top clans and same thing people are too busy trying to push the ladders. I look for laid back guilds but they don't post on the forums very often.
Well see at launch you already defined the main issue I was referring to. You run in groups day of release and by the time little old me logs on everyone is in groups of four and 40-50's too busy or too full to take anyone else.
Yes a week, my friend leveled me to 70 one day (he was a fairly fresh 70 so that took some time). The next day we did some bounties and killed the key wardens so I could at least get some mats/meet basic criteria. Then on the weekend we ran a couple of low T rifts till I found a couple of legs so I could pass a 10 grift... so yah that was a week. Funny how you split into 3 different playing sessions of 1-2 hour intervals and things suddenly make sense.
If It is a matter of priority... playing something for 3 + years and putting "a lot" of time into something you already did gets old fast.

Yah a year+. You need to reach conquer which by my estimate will take me 1-2 months (that's most of the season) then times that five seasons that 6-12 months (pending on my estimate). Don't confuse the pet reward as getting the stash space (that still took me a week and I leeched from a friend). Every hour in season is time I don't get to play something fun in non season.
Everyone who posts "so easy" basically ignores all real life and gets to Plvl 400 within 48 hours of season start. I don't have time for that nor do I find that enjoyable anymore. Without power leveling or group play it actually takes a long time to get anything done in this game... I think people forget that or don't realize. Maybe they haven't tried joining a public game... lots of dbag idiots out there. Maybe they haven't had the bane of joining an active clan and if you don't play for 1 day your 200 P levels and a six piece set behind everyone and nobody wants to carry you every time you log (that isn't fun for the guy getting carried either)
If getting carried is the best answer people can come up with I might as well pay someone to do it for me. When I'm playing 3-8 hours a week why would I want to sit there and watch people kill stuff while I twidle my thumbs for two to three weeks so I can get an stash tab faster. I rather be trying out new builds or items in Non-Season and God-forbid have fun when I play the game.
TL:DR I will still play season but it will suck for me

Thats how it is, first come first serve. If you played this game from the start you get some sort of minor rewards over others and I think that's fair.
2
Casual has many different meanings... I have a Plvl 676 non season, so yah this will suck for me.

As a casual player I have 0 care for any of this, just enjoying the game at my own pace. The butthurt here is very delicious though
Ahhh making a game of random competitive who would of thought there would have been so much issues going forward *raises hand*
