posted a message on Gruesome Feast vs Confidence Ritual

    Greetings.

I wonder, how good is Gruesome Feast (10% max mana + 10% max int for every globe for 15 secs, stacks up to 5 times) compared to Confidence Ritual (+25% damage to enemies within 20 yards) for LoN firebats build at high end grifts (with 5k+ int enchanted on gear).

    >95% of people on the ladder prefer CR, even though there are few players with GF taken directly in passives in top-50, so it is doable at least. But is the difference huge or just minor? Why and when would you take one over another?

Tbh i always wanted to go with GF over CR because that way i dont have to be 25y close to my gargs, but now also, after crating over 500 (not kidding) Hellfire amulets, i only got one decent ancient with GF, and now wonder, if it is really worth it to make few hundred more to switch to confidence ritual, or just keep it as it is.

Please, help me with advice :)

    posted a message on Armor/All res/Vitality Balance

Thanks a lot for your answers and for the link, that all gave me some info to work with!

I think i will enchant the missing parts of my gear with str and dex to get some armor and throw many (if not all) paragon points to int, this way changing the overwhelming vitality (hit points) on everything i have into what seemed to me a better call: all res and armor, Your calculator kinda proves it too, so yea, I ll go with it, thanks.

    posted a message on Armor/All res/Vitality Balance

As i am going deeper into the game and the guides, i struggle more and more with finding the best balance for it.

Im using the usual non-pet build with stormshield and esoteric and right now my stats are

    Armor 15k
    Average res 1600
    3.000.000 hit points

(ofc that goes with all cdr/rarc maxed)

I heard somewhere on forums the 1:10 proportion b/n all res and armor is what we should focus for, but the proportion between armor/res and vitality is never mentioned.

What are the basic laws of forming the protection gear for support wd? Should i maybe roll some paragon vit into int for more resistance or maybe enchant my gear with armor instead of vitality for better balance? Maybe there is a source i can read about that all at once?
