posted a message on Dota 2 Keys
I have a few extra dota 2 keys to give away and everyone on my friends list already has the game, or has a mac which is not yet supported.

I figured rather then let them go to waste I'd give them away to people who wanted to try out the game early. If you're interested you can just PM me. I think I can either email the key to you or if I add you to steam I can do it through there. Keys go to the first people to message me, I'm pretty sure I have 3 of them.

    Enjoy.

Edit: Sorry guys all gone, apparently it's much easier to do this over at reddit. If anyone is still interested head to r/sharedota2 and you might get one.

No, I'm assuming it has 220dex and then some other stat. What happened was that you got your initial dex roll between 170-200, and then got an additional dex/stat roll as one of your random 4 properties.

It's your build. Try something more offensive. Like I said to OP, you aren't failing because you aren't tough, you're failing because your damage output isn't high enough.

You guys both do more damage than me, and with my build I absolutely destroy A3, honestly it's your build. Also your resist all is very low.

To be completely honest with you your stats are all fine, you might be able to use more life on hit, but it would be hard to find a weapon with dps like the one you have and also more life on hit. I feel like the main problem is actually in part your build, its far to defensive without any damage output.

With your current gear set up I would recommend swapping leap for Battle Rage - Into the Fray, and Ignore Pain for Seismic Slam - Rumble. You'll get tons of rage from into the fray, and with it you can just chain spam seismic slam and keeps most of your enemies at bay, when you encounter an elite pack just pop Wrath and you'll chain slam most packs to death.

    http://us.battle.net...346/hero/793472

That's me, you can tell I'm not much bigger than you, more life on hit and slightly more resist all, but I've been considering losing some life on hit for more crit dmg via my weapon socket, so I don't think life on hit is really the issue.

So what it comes down to is your build and the way you play it. As I already said I feel like you're just being far to defensive, but in reality the reason you're dying isn't because you aren't tough enough, it's because you aren't killing them fast enough and are taking to many hits. So I'd try out a few different builds, the one I'm using should work well, since enemies can't hit you with all the knockback you pump out, or alternatively you could try a WW build, but I find those builds are better suited to dual wielding.

Note: I personally use weapon master for the extra crit, but it might actually be very good if you go with a seismic slam build - more slams. I also absolutely destroy act 3 inferno, which means you can too, you do more dmg than me.. =D

Doesn't break anything. Is (moderately) useful because it gives a good understanding of what our mathematical system is and how it functions, I would say it is important for new students who are taking mathematical theory in University to understand this very point, as it's one of the simplest and easiest to prove math facts that is almost unbelievable but fundamentally true. In math when we talk about infinitesimal we are literally talking about a value which is indistinguishable from 0. (Note that for the same reason 0.000...1 is effectively 0.)

In fact integration is the act of summing an infinite number of infinitely small objects. Sometimes it's just plain elegant how this stuff actually works.

Meh 350+ hours between a barb and a demon hunter, and I still plan to play both of them as well as leveling at least the other 3 characters to 60. Still enjoying the game quite a bit, and I don't use the RMAH at all. It's fun to just run around and kill things, whether it be stuff I can handle easily (act2 inferno on my barb) or trying to do harder stuff like act 3 in groups with some of my friends.

Still having fun, still earning new and better gear. If you're bored with it then that's cool and I can respect that, but I see no reason to force your opinion on other people and then insult them when they don't agree, saying nonsense such as 'I'm lying to myself because I enjoy it'. That doesn't even make sense.

I didn't farm normal, nightmare or hell. Just act 1 inferno for a bit for gold to get a good enough weapon for my DH to move into act 2 inferno. You shouldn't need to gear up to complete nightmare and hell, if you are struggling in nightmare than you probably don't have a good skill set up.

posted a message on Class Intro Videos (Minor Spoiler maybe)
I just finished installing/patching Diablo III and of course I decided to open it. Servers aren't online obviously, but you can watch the intro cinematic. If you then open up the cinematics section you can see the intro video for each of the 5 classes. Pretty cool stuff.

And by pretty cool stuff I mean the intro videos are amazing.

Since blizzard appears to hate the east coast, I'm not sure what's going to happen because staying up until 3am just to start an install, and then possibly another 30 minutes to an hour for all the patching to be done etc.. Probably going to try to get to sleep early and wake up and play.

posted a message on speculation on final reveal...
Some people just enjoy the process of speculation, and then finding out what it is they've been waiting for whenever it is that it's released. I see no reason to be rude or condescending to them just because you'd rather spoil the surprise.

They've capped how often you can thumbs up, as far as I can tell, so I usually go and thumbs up as much art as I can until it doesn't seem to work anymore.
In that case, I stand corrected :)

Still, if they have 'capped the user activity' then isn't that pretty much just the same as making it unlock at a certain time?
Not wanting to come across arguementative and douchey (which I'm sure I am doing)

It's ok you didn't come off that way. =D

But ya it's like a half-way capping, the amount of votes you can give out seems to relatively large, and I'm not really sure how the reset timer works since I can usually return later in the day to vote more. (I just finished my exams.. I have literally nothing to do between Dota 2 games lol)

So you aren't entirely wrong, but blizz should only really be able to estimate when the next release happens, and the reveals are indeed still a function of user activity.

    Quote from Plandor

I think 1-9% are tied to user activity, and the final percentage is up to Blizzard to flip. It'll go up on Blizzard's schedule. This isn't rocket science.

You're right .. mostly because that isn't science at all. =P

But I doubt they've actually put a cap on how many different people can vote, it probably just requires like 10 million total upvotes to reach 100%.

"Despite everything that they've said, I believe the opposite!"

Ya, that doesn't make a lot of sense. I went and gave the thumbs up to a bunch of art and banners that I liked.

Ok, so how about Wirt then? I spent many-a-night curled up with his leg and a good book, dreaming of picnicking with his zombie remains amongst the corpses of a thousand slaughtered cows.

    This is .. O.o
