I think this is only the second time I've said this, but I agree with Meph.

I don't care about Amy Winehouse. Never listened to any of her music, never cared about her career or life, etc. I don't think she deserved death anymore than any other person does. (I'm of the belief that nobody deserves death or torture - although I understand that it can be acceptable in the face of the imminent deaths and/or torture of many others).

With that in mind, I will say that anyone who thinks she deserved this is an asshole. Anyone who doesn't care is normal. Anyone who cares should focus more on their own lives and less on the lives of celebrities.

That is all.

Just a word on drop rates: While I understand your reasoning and math, that's not technically right. The chances of getting an item don't actually increase or decrease (unless patched) each time you kill something. Each time you begin a boss fight, the chance of getting said item is still .5% (or whatever) - random events have no memory. The game doesn't say, "Oh, you've done this 99 times without success? Well, this time I will drop your item because statistics says I have to!" Granted, you could always get it on your first try, but it could also take you well over the average as well. This could all change of course if, like someone said, the loot tables change to prevent endless boss runs.

Sorry for the semi-unrelated-to-your-post rant. =)

It's quite essential for staff to have beta access on a fansite, though, otherwise they're out of the loop and when your forum members have keys and you don't that's pretty stupid if you ask me.

The staff here is not that large so it's not that big of a deal, there should be plenty of leftover keys.

Or, not keys. If they don't use keys they'll probably use something else that will be distributed similarly.

To all the people who always diss on the graphics and stuff, seriously, WTF ?§ These little videos totally REEK of pure attention to details that will make the game look so friggin sweet, especially with all the effects on screen at once etc.

Oh by the way, speaking of effects, a while ago when speaking about the 4 players limit and total mayhem onscreen and the confusion ensuing, the devs said they would probably have toned down versions of any spell effects that isn't your character's ? Since then, I've never heard anything about that from them and from the few bits and pieces of footage we've had, I don't think it's been implemented.

Do anyone know ? This worries me somehow, cause I love the spell effects so much, I would rather have them in all their glory and confusion over a slightly better visibility anyday !!

And ya, I do understand Dae on the point he's making. Cheering on death is...ugly, almost barbaric.
It's almost inevitable though that this would be the case, given that people must probably see this as some way of 'getting back' at that guy...though he is dead.

I'm just relieved he died- the guy was being hugely detrimental to our species.
