If you've come looking for build discussion, you've come to the right place. Please keep things on topic, and we should see a lot of interesting and exciting builds! Don't forget that you may want to include an explanation of why you chose specific skills/passives!

Here's the 4 man build I would like to run, including Monk, DH, DH, Wizard:

    -- Monk: http://us.battle.net...bRXQ!ZWf!bacZbb
Purpose is to be the "tank" and provide effects (such as snare and mantras) to buff other players in the group. I may drop Mantra of Healing in order to pick up Sweeping Wind (crimson rune) for boss fights.

    -- Wizard: http://us.battle.net...SiOd!Zbf!ZYZaZb
Temporal Flux subject to change (purpose of it is to snare enemies to increase DH damage). Rotation is spam Disintegrate/Arcane Torrent until you are out of AP, then spam Electrocute 8x and repeat.

    -- Demon Hunter: http://us.battle.net...eZSk!UWc!aabYZZ
2h xbow build - idea is to keep targets snared. Hungering arrow for groups of mobs. Should be able to spam Rapid Fire non-stop on bosses throwing in an Impale when Sharpshooter buff builds high enough.

Each of these builds would of course change given the setup (i.e. solo, duo, etc) as they are very dependent on each other. So, what do you think? What are yours?

    posted a message on Teal
I think that they did a good job with colors in the game from what I have seen. I don't dislike the color teal, so it doesn't bother me. I think it's a good color to give the "ghostly" effect and I'm glad they stayed away from white which would have been a straight rip from Mephisto in D2.

Only the fact that the color bothers you that much is kinda sad, it's like you have a personal problem or something. Anyways, this encounter with Leoric will probably be the only time that you actually come across teal in major detail throughout the whole game. I imagine that each boss/act will have it's particular theme. Early game/beta just happened to have a teal theme, which you happen to dislike.

posted a message on "Fundamentals" passive skill, the cornerstone of demon hunter gameplay
Interesting points raised here. However, from what I'm seeing on diablowiki.net, skills (and their % weapon damage) do scale with level. Where did you hear/read that they wouldn't? If they do indeed scale, I imagine that basic attacks with fundamentals would only be better damage for a couple levels seeing as how you can't get it until level 17, and your abilities % damage have probably scaled enough by then to make them better.

The slow Hatred regen is a good point. I'm sure, however, that at higher levels it's not such a big issue.

The AP cost on Disintegrate will most likely be increased at some point, because by the look of things in this video you can spam it for a very long time.

Even me, who plans to play a wizard, would admit that this is a little ridiculous. Higher level wizard is gonna be so beast tho <3

posted a message on Scroll of Companion
    A chicken.

While watching a stream yesterday someone asked, "Will the D3:CE have a companion like WoW does?". At first, I thought the question was dumb, because I really am not a big WoW fan, nor did I find the companions in WoW enjoyable. Then I thought about how the companion in D3 would do exactly what the scroll of companion does, pick up gold, and it would likely be summonable without a scroll in the CE. It would be kinda nice...

Edit: But I'd still rather see other things in the CE~

I think it's fine as is, it just needs to not last until your health goes back up. A flash (even periodically recurring if your health stays low) would suffice, I think.

    Added this.

    How do you feel?

Personally, I'd like to see it either removed completely, or reduced with an option to remove entirely.

Indeed. I am using a 23" myself and might just save up for a 27", but am absolutely satisfied (apart from the fact it has no speakers, forcing me to reroute my PS3 cables through an awkward and unsatisfying method). Things to look at when buying a monitor - 1. Framerate (minimum 60) 2. Max resolution (minimum 1080p) 3. LED backlight. In no particular order.

Hmm I was looking at some monitors with 120Hz refresh (I assume that's what you mean by framerate) but I always thought they really only impacted motion blur, which was really only noticeable on larger displays like 32"+. I would love to have a monitor with 120 refresh rate but it's a lot of money for something that I imagine won't make that much of a difference in the end.

    I'm thinking...diminishing returns~

So it's still a little unclear to me. What will be the max resolution with a 23" 16:9 monitor? What about a 23" 16:10?

As of right now I don't have an HD monitor, but a standard 19" DVI and I'm running 1440, so I'm assuming that the upgrade would bring me up to 2560?
Your max resolution depends both on your monitor and your GPU. Both of them need to support larger resolutions. My video supports pretty much 8k x 4k resolutions but my monitor is locked to 1080p. The last one is the one my PC can run.
1080p is usually a solid number and the definition of today's "HD". Beyond that we're talking 30+ inch monitors for you to be able to tell the pixels apart.

I see. Well, after seeing my friends 24" HD monitor (and how beautiful it looked) I'm sure that a 23" LED HD would look nice when paired up with 2 nvidia 570's. Can't really afford more anyways, so I better be happy with it =P
