    Quote from ZenX

    Quote from Plocer

You mean the makers and owners of the story, which hold the right to change the story and lore as they wish, changed the lore and the "old nostalgia" factor of the original, whether it was actually good or bad compared to the new is being biased against because most people assume old>new everytime? blah

    This^

    and...

Disclaimer: This part may be a bit harmful to some of you.

First of all, you are haven't really read anything regarding the Diablo Universe or really incapable of combining any tiny tidbits of information.

    Why?
The events that transpire there is more than 200 years prior to the start of Diablo, as it was the time when Jered Cain imprisoned Diablo, and it is being noted that it was 45 years after the establishment of Horadrim(by Tyrael) that Mephisto was caught and it Baal after him with Diablo being the last. Hence, we are talking about at least 245 years prior to the start of Diablo.

Furthermore, the Eternal Conflict is being halt with a truce at the end of the Sin War followed by the Dark Exile and the duration between this even and the establishment of Horadrim is noted to be 40 years.

In the end, the event in Wrath is at least 285 years prior to the start of Diablo.
Bear in mind that the High Heavens did not know of the terror spread by the Prime Evils during their exile as Tyrael knowing how they would react(Noting it as Burning Hells breaking the truce), had chosen to hide the information from them.

    http://www.diablowiki.com/Horadrim
    http://www.diablowiki.com/Deckard_Cain
    http://www.diablowiki.com/Baal
    http://www.diablowiki.com/Mephisto

Now let me return back to my original point, angels and demons in this story is far from what is being depicted in Abrahamic religions or the conventional way people perceive them.

Hence, it is pretty much customary for the characters to change in a course of centuries, due to how there is no apparent war being fought with Burning Hells as well as how Tyrael had spent more time in Sanctuary than he has in High Heavens. It is stated in Book of Cain how Tyrael and Imperius were brothers in arms during the endless conflict and how they had fought together.
However, the events shown in the Wrath may very well be the stretch in their relationship as well as how their differences in their view of the Nephalem introducing another one.
Apparently, time concerned Diablo's( A demon known for his unorthodox methods of inciting terror) trap may very well have introduced either the first or the final stretch that is begin breaking up the Angiris Council, starting with the bond of Tyrael and Imperius.

If you think about it, it's actually a lot further back than that. The events of 'wrath' predate the sin war. before the sin war, angels didn't know about sanctuary, and demons weren't running rampant on it's plains. after the sin war, angels did not get involved in the world of man (except for tyrael founding the horadrim and aiding the heroes of diablo 2). The fact that this is a land where angels and demons are fighting it out by the boatload indicates that it is not sanctuary, but either heaven, hell, or pandemonium. I think it's hell because the angels are pushing the assault towards a stronghold run by demons, but it could also be pandemonium while under the occupation of demons.

It's probably one of the many many many many (reemember, eternal conflict) battles the angels had with diablo, except it seems this time is special because diablo had a plan or a 'trap' if you will, which is still unfolding throught the events of future diablo games.

The only thing that bothers me is that how could any of them have forseen the creation of sanctuary, unless it was already created (the demons knew about it long before any non-renegade angels did)

posted a message on Why do people vote up girls because they're girls?
    Quote from ConTroll

Oooh, maaaan, this is my territory. Why, you would now dare to ask.
My first 10 posts I posted with no avatar, no gender specified behavior and for 10 posts only I got 5 ups. And some people have been talking about me as a "he" :) So, yeah, pretty much got the 5 ups mainly because of this I guess.
Then I put up my pic for my avatar and since then I've got... one more up? Maybe 2 more (I don't remember the division perfectly), but not because I'm a female, that's for sure.
I wouldn't say someone would fap when seeing my avatar, but certainly, if gender was > quality, I would be getting a lot more ups since my pic being put up.

Hey, and even if that WAS true (and it's not), it would be because people around here are mostly male and it's scientifically easy to prove that they would want to hold the females around as long as they can. And since there aren't a lot of effective ways around here (on the forums), giving ups is pretty logical.

    ConTroll => Out.

Your name is misleading. You weren't trolling at all! :P incidentally, nice poem.

correct. A staple of all blizzard releases now. It would most likely be starter editions, which will become available to anyone via the blizzard site a few months after release.

    Quote from Pixii

My theory is girls just get more attention than guys do, period. (A lot of it can be negative too /shrug)

There are even a few meme's about it, usually facebook related. [EXAMPLE IMAGE LINK]
I just think girls are "viewed" more than guys (be it on facebook, match.com, forums, etc), and thus would have higher results in "hits" versus a male. Does that make sense? It's tomorrow already and I'm not usually up this late so I'm not sure if I'm making sense.

Like if a guy and a girl were in a race to sell apples. The girl will have 100 customers and sell 89 apples. The guy will have 15 customers and sell 15 apples. The girl will sell more apples because she generates more customers. I guess that's kind of my theory.

quick everyone! look, she has no upvotes :P

It is a very stereotypical way to look at it, but that doesn't mean it's inaccurate. I agree with you but only in the realm of things like social networks and customer service.
The current medical team I'm working with has an elderly male nurse and a young female registrar, and I couldn't count the amount of times that patients confuse the nurse for the consultant and the registrar for the nurse (admittedly, I did it on my first day) and basically ignore the registrar and focus all their attention on communicating with the nurse!

But seriosuly, the upvote function seems to be under-utilised on this forum. I rarely see things getting liked unless they are like breakind diablo 3 news sorta stuff

    Quote from FriZZriT

Thats a common complication of diabetes, he didnt notice it because after some time of diabetes he loses sensitivity in his feet, the maggots are due to not cleaning and taking care of the wound, what is common in hobos, drug users and retarded people. This is actually pretty common in hospitals...

If someone want to know more about this:
    http://www.gim.utoro...foot+ulcers.pdf

    Almost correct.
This is a necrotic foot ulcer, which is commonly due to uncontrolled diabetes. It's not the diabetes itself that causes this issue, but the peripheral vascular disease and peripheral neuropathy (complications of badly controlled diabetes). The peripheral neuropathy leads to patients not being able to feel their feet and lower legs as well as normal, and this may cause them not to notice when they have an injury or a pressure sore from standing for too long. This is then compounded by the peripheral vascular disease which means that their blood supply to their extremities is reduced and therefore their ability to generate healing in those areas is reduced. It causes a vicious cycle of necrosis if left unchecked (which is why diabetics should have regular foot-checks from podiatry)

The maggots are their to clean the wound because they will only eat the necrotic tissue and leave all healthy flesh alone. only temporary.
