Binkles, son of Berhearth, came from a dynasty of Witch Doctors that inhabited Caldeum, which were rich and well known for crafting and experimenting with Runestones. Living in the biggest trade city in the world certainly helped the family business prosper and expand, while having the vision of being the sole family which holds the knowledge of crafting Runestones.
Aratu, being the youngest son of another family of Witch Doctors, the Coldbane family, foresaw the volcano eruption and decided to start selling Runestones as well after seeing the amount of business that came flowing to the Weavers' family shop due to people being afraid and wanting to strengthen and hone their skills to prepare for the invasion. So he went out on a quest to find Runestones outside of Caldeum. Binkles knew his family can lose the monopoly and power that came along with being the only Runestone dealers, decided to dispose of the Coldbane family, sending Aratu a clear message to stay away from everything Runestone related.
Binkles' latest discovery was the Obsidian rune. After experimenting and practicing with it, he made his Firebats carry a plague that strengthens over time. Using this on the Coldbane's family would make it seem like a natural death, unrelated to the Weaver's family.
Tyrael, spotted the event. Being the Archangel of Justice, he decided to intervene. He consulted Itherael, the Archangel of Fate, about what course should be taken. Considering the possibilities Itherael has decided that Tyreal must engage Aratu, the sole survivor of the Coldbane's family and grant him the possibility to avenge his family using the same means of which Binkles used to slaughter his family: The Obsidian Runestone. But before that, he must plant a shard of a Soulstone into Binkles, making him immortal, so he could witness the horror of his family perishing, and forever be haunted by his family's spirits after the deed is done. And so did Tyrael.
At moonrise, Aratu came to Binkles' family house and called forth a Plague of Toads while equipping an Obsidian rune. to his surprise, it was no plague at all. A large toad was risen and ravaged the Weavers' family house, devouring everyone inside, including Binkles.
Being swallowed while imbuted with a fragment of a Soulstone, the toad was able to live forever due to being constantly fed by Binkles's immortal body. Binkles was forever trapped inside. Being consumed made the toad shrink until only Binkles' soul remained inside, making it look like an ordinary toad. The embarrassment and shame has driven him to go to a far away place, New Tristram, where he was not known, to live eternally without anyone knowing who he is, or what his greed has led him to forever be. -

Same LEVEL of gear, why would I stack dex on a Barb, what am I, retarded?
I have a lvl 55 DH atm. Barely die. About 1\10 the times I died with my Barb while soloing through the acts leveling, or playing with friends.
Same as when I ask my friends if they die a lot, they answer "only if I'm not paying attention"

Either its tough for everyone, or its fine for everyone.
Thoughts?

I'd keep it. You won't find anything better soon
Edit: Just saw you're a Wiz.

You can put Weapon Throw with Dread Bomb as a fury dumper. It cleans 100% of your current fury, and does very nice AoE.

I have 38k hp, 8k damage, and 450 resist all and mobs hit me for TWICE THAT MUCH. The hammer ones, which you actually STOOD AND TANKED instead of moving away, basically one shot me if I don't move from they're special attack.
Either my Barb is bugged, or that is Hell, and not Inferno.
Because my stats are better then what you've shown, Almost the same build (Berserker instead of Charge), and I can never dream of taking so much damage.

I already opened a post about this issue but seeing as thread is dying down, I'm still fighting to get this damn meat sack to work until Blizzard realizes we need to get buffed, asap.
I have 35k hp, and 650 avg to resist all, with 8.5k dps, AND I STILL GET SMACKED DOWN LIKE NOTHING. Please don't tell me I'm missing vitality, because people told me 30-35k is enough if you have enough resists.
I'm -this- close to just throwing this useless toon.
Spent countless hours on builds and currently using Psy Starcraft's build, which is the only one I liked so far. No, I'm really not going to kite with seismic slam like a retard.
This is really making me rage and I have on idea why this class needs x4 the gear of everyone else to survive or to actually be viable. As said before, I have friends with half my gear running around killing elites in act 2.
WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING WRONG. SERIOUSLY.
Is it me or this class is just useless except for very specific people who get money \ item fed by fanboys?
0
I didn't expect that. I'm just saying its way too hard compared to other classes, even after nerfs
0
Didn't ask for that. I only want my barb to feel more like a barb and not a naked wizard.
0
Why? Why not ele or all
0
Not sure if I should balance the two or just go for elemental?
Cheers.
0
Mate, I don't want to kite with ss. I'm a barb, I'm supposed to be a frontliner and kill noobs. I'm just saying barb doesn't feel like a barb at all.

Hope so.
Tbh, the fix to revenge is simple IMO. Make it 25% by default and make it proc from dodge as well. Change provocation rune to 35%, or make something else cool out of it.

This should get fixed.

I'm trying to get there. But finding decent items for decent price at AH is a bitch. Nothing below 200k is worth buying today.
And how do you manage to decide if to go Physical Resistance and Elemental Resistance? do we even need phys resist as Barbs due to our armor?
